[RP] The Hand Of Life

On the planet of Gaia a powerful artifact the Hand Of Life was created at the beginning of time. This artifact had the power to completely reverse death and reverse the process of decay on the human body. But if in evil hands can cause the destruction of the planet. The corrupt church of Zoltannya wants the hand for unknown purposes. The church is at of war with the Kingdom of Anjina. The Kingdom of Takira is nuetral. The Hand of Life would determine the winner of the war.


White Magic is called Holy magic and is used by members of the church only. Green Magic is status effect magic and blue magic is the ability to absorb an enemies ability/s. Job classes such as gunner use extremely primitive guns. The following races are allowed: Human, Bangaa, and Elf.

Bio: Alexander grew up as a member in the church and was taught swordsman skills as he aged. He worked as a bodyguard for Father Zatara until witnessing the leader of the church, Father Zatara, kill a priest who was unwilling to leave and search for The Hand Of Life. And head of the fathers plans to Use the Hand of Life to destroy the kingdom of Anjina. Outraged he ran in and confronted the Father. He was attacked by a group of the churchs guards but escaped carving a bloody path looking for information on The Hand of Life and killing any memebers of the church he comes across. Recently the church has been attempting to kill him.

I walked into the forest for training.

I was in the church, training through all the mayhem. I knew that most of the priests and other kids here had no idea what was going on and why. It was only the elder council of the church that knew...and me. I sheathed my sword and went to my room, pulled out my bible, and read it in peace while others were running around outside.

Me: * gets in battle with wolf*

"Hmph, the elders are fools. They have no idea what they're messing with. And, obviously, they have strayed from the faith." I closed my bible and got up slowly. I looked through my window to se the chaos everyone was in. The monastery was always busy with priests running around and getting children to their rooms while the teens that were here were training to join the church's army in the effort, although they do not know the truth. "Nothing is peaceful here anymore."*sighs*

I continue walking when I hear choas near a church. I run in to see what I can do.

He has arrived at a, what appears to be an abandoned church. Hunted down by Great Wolves, he jumps into a crack in the wall, falling into the bassment of the church. Me: He's approaching the Blue Wing's HQ. They'd attack him! I can't let that happen!

After spending the night in the church' basment, he started looking around to find any food at all. He only found a couple of potions, and some overdue grapefruits. Suddenly he hears a loud crack a couple of floors above him.
"Please....don't be a freaking White Wolf."
The night before he heared many cracks in the wooden entirior, since the building's been abandoned for quite a while, it wasn't in its finest shape.
Avathar took off his leather shoes, avoiding all noise he could make with those things. He climbed up a narrow staircase, rotten by mold, hardly climbable. Once he got up there
He saw two kids, sitting close to eachother, protecting what seemed to be a nest of some kind. Noticing no danger at all, Avathar stepped up to the kids, frightening them like a bad Halloween costume would frighten an 80-year old lady. Avathar then asked
"You found some decent grub around here?"

I said as he got closer to the Blue Wings HQ.

The two kids, a boy with golden blond hair, and a younger girl with messy darkbrown hair, now looked at Avathar, like he was some drunken Thief. Avathar watched through the cracks of the wooden wall, but suddenly the sun rises, blinding Avathar. He starts to fall over, but the blond boy tries to catch him, but Avathar stops from falling by piercing a shortsword in the floor.
"A decent potion would do good." Avathar mumbled.
The boy looked at the girl, meaning that this guy who scared them wasn't that harmless at all.
"Well, we're actually waiting for eggs to hatch.", the boy said. Avathar while sitting down, replied: "Since when do Humans lay eggs? I know Elves can do some pretty weird stuff, but"
All of a sudden, the brownhaired girl started speaking enthousiastic "Ooh, ooh, finally, finally!"
Avathar, being the apathetic loner he is, couldn't be bothered at all by the youngling's shouting. He was starting to smoke a pipe with the last bit of weed he got from home. For a moment he sunk into memories, how this addic reminded him so much of his uncle's farm.
But back to reality, Avathar, looked to his right, hearing a high-toned squeeking, coming from neither the boy or the girl's troath.

'Pitiful' I thoght to myself as I slit the mans throat and watched the blood flow from the laceration. I almost felt sorry for him but when you help a corrupt church you've put yourself in the face of danger. Me.

*looks around in the forest while continuing to walk*"Yes, it feels mcuh better out here than in the church. So quiet and the scenery is lovely."

The girl stepped away, so Avathar could have a look at what they were protecting.
It was a nest with two young Wyverns, but at the right age to indeed provide eggs. "Unbelievable. You two actually caught two Wyverns? What about the parents, i might wonder?" The boy replied: "No joke, but we just found them, barely alive, hanging in a tree. Looking at your condition, haven't you just met that mayor storm of yesterday? In fact, what are you doing here?"
Avathar stood up quickly. He looked through the cracks in the wall again. He asked the girl: ".....can you spare me an egg? If not, you know i'ld just take them from you." The boy walked towards the entrance of the addic, saying: "No, i think you can't. I think your conscience would fail you, stealing food from kids." Both the girl and the boy started grinning. Avathar said: "....Whatever." "What, you don't wanna talk anymore? Common, what's your name?" asked the girl.

The storm is fiercer than ever. Avathar thought he had stranded in the most ungodly regions of Gaia. Flying debris keeps weaking him and his trusty companion, Saito. The Wolves kept coming closer, but didn't show any threat yet, just like scavenging vultures. This was the time when the hunted become nothing but toys, Saito yelled at his pupil. Avathar found in the middle of the ash and durt-covered wilderness an underground cave, probably formerly used by a group of badgers. They decide to go in.
Out of breath, there they were. Running away from the terror they faced in their hometown, after months of journey, they still haven't found a place to call for help. Saito was awfully silent. Avathar noticed Saito's change of heart. There they sat against eachother, Saito, and elderly man with grey looks and grey clothing, and a heart that has stopped living for quite a while. The shock was much harder for him, apparently than for Avathar. Avathar, coughing and wiping his cloak clean, said they were running out of food supplies, dramatically. His master asked him
"What is your name?"

Me: Okay. But first. * puts out hand* I;m Casper, Its very nice to meet you. * smiles kindly*

"Hello? What's your name?" The girl asked Avathar for a second time. He grabbed his shortword which he pierced in the floor, and answered "Avathar. But what are you two doing here? This place looks isolated. Still weird. A church in the middle of nowhere." "The girl looked to the boy, scared to tell the truth. "My name's Ruben, and this is my young sister, Romina." said the brownhaired boy, avoiding the question.
"Okay, if you don't wanna talk, fine, ignore it", Avathar replied. "But i just walked through a hellish storm that i've never seen before, i've been running away from mysterious assasins, coming out of nowhere, i'm freaking lost, and still, you don't wanna talk? Idle banter is for the nobles, not for lost people like us."
"Assasins?" Romina said, in a very terrified way. "Wiping out villages looking for a-" But Ruben put his hand in front of her sister's mouth, stopping her for telling a certain secret.

"A friend in the middle of nowhere." Avathar mumbled. "That would make a good novel." He looked outside, and saw an old man coming over the hill to the building Avathar and the kids were hiding. "Who is he?" Avathar asked. Romina answered: "He's the only survivor of a nearby village. Wait, do you even know where you are, now?" "I think i know enough to survive." Avathar said.
"Well, " Ruben said, "it looks like you're not from around here, so you don't know what's going on. Old Manny there is the sole survivor of his village, since it got destroyed by a group of dark assasins- Avathar looked shocked at Ruben. "And what do these dark men look like?"

Me: We need to bring him back to Head Quarters, can you please help me lift him?

Old Manny takes of his coat, revealing fresh fruits he has gathered. "Ruben? Have you told him about the henchmen?" Old Manny asked. "He told me enough that this is quite exactly the same as i have experienced from where i come from." Avathar said. "Pops, you don't happen to have a map or something there in your bag?" "Well, i've got this fairly sketch.....and yes, looking at your eyes...your heart is troubled, indeed. And you could use this much more than i do." Manny Replied. "I know these outskirts like no other, so here you go."
All of a sudden a foul spiraling wind made the doors of the staircase slam open.

Avathar quickly kicks in the wall of planks, letting the foul speeding wind escape back outside. Old Manny speaks in a slow tone: "W-what? They're here? At daylight? That's impossible?" Ruben and Romina come closer to Old Manny.
Avathar sees two shadows in the distance, riding horses, and carrying fierce flames on wooden poles. "Just two men threatening this region? ...I'l take care of this." "NO", Old Manny yelled. "You can not understimate these.....these are not humans. They come with fire, but they...they leave with the worst sorts of chaos you could ever imagine." Manny adresses the kids to grab their belongings. "We're moving to the hall. The Veils of Roses are still their, they will protect us better than this...lost ranger." Avathar starts to speak in a panic-kinda way, and points a dagger to Manny's head. "Underestimate?? You dare to say such things, but i've seen enough of the world. And never underestimate me." Avathar grabs a couple of the Wyvern eggs. "Although...there could hardly be a thing as coincidence...." As he starts to get lost in his own thoughts, Old Manny and the kids move down to the hall for shelture.
"They look remarkably the same..." Avathar whispers. "...but i....do not sense the same.......as back then......"

Me: Do you hear that?
OOC: G2g.

*looks around*"No, why?"

Me: Thought I heard something. Oh, well.

*continues to walk next to her and studies her as well*

Me: *notices* What are you looking at?

*looks away and blushes*"Sorry, we don't have many females in our church. Once they reach 13 they're sent to a monastery. There are 5 nuns in our church, but they're not much to look at."*scratches back of head*

Me: Oh. * blushes and looks down* 5 nuns? * laughs*

OOC: Cute and rather disturbing. The monastery part of coarse.

OOC: You're sick BM. They're sent their to be nuns. Is that corrupt enough for ya?

"Yeah...I don't know why they do it though."

OOC: But Nun's are supposed to not have sex so are they being raed. I mean the church has to grow from somewhere.

OOC: BM, you're making me wanna puke.
Me: How old are you?

OOC: Sorry.

OOC: It's okay. :)

*Flashback-Two Months before Avathar's story begins*

Avathar suddenly woke up by a big bang in the distance. He inmediatly looked out the window: A raging red sky, unnatural as the blood of an Orc, and a devastating whirlwind. People from all over the village of Alturaa were running around and screaming in chaos. Avathar put on his clothes and armor, and gets out of the house. All of the townfolk are running away in the same, direction, but he sees his master Saito standing in the opposite direction. Step by step, facing the wind, with lack of sight, he walks towards Saito. Who turns out to be covered in blood. The only thing he said to Avathar at that moment, is that they can be killed, and that Avathar must pack his things to leave, before it's to late.
Avathar followed his master's instructions, and went rapidly back into his home, grabbing quickly what would fit in his backpack. But all of a sudden the storm got worse, and walls started to collapse. Avathar got out in no time, but is halted by an immense dark knight on a steed. Hypnotized by the ungodly, shining red eyes of the enemy, he randomly slizes in the air in front of him with his double-bladed sword.
The dark knight, with the impressive horned helmet, jumped of his steed, ready to pierce Avathar with his broadsword, but Saito attacked the knight from the side in time. Then both Avathar and his master battled him, but the space around them didn't only caught fire, they became fire. The dark enemy, not damaged at all, laughs with the voices of a hundred souls, and becomes one with the wind and the fire. This was the signal to leave their home, or what was left of it. The last thing Avathar saw of his hometown, while looking back in the escape:
Flames in the shape of a gate.

"Oh, I'm 18. Not much to live for now besdies God now, since I know the church has gone to hell."

Me: I'm only 17.

"Really? You seemed a bit older, by your personality I mean."

Alexander
I awoke in a field surrounded by some of the churchs guard force. This was gonna be tough I had faced tougher, I mean I did train half the chrch in swordsmanship. I lurched to my feet and stumbled. I spread my legs and pulled my blade out. I put the sword into a stabbing position and ran forward. I ran forward and was attacked by one of the guards. Our blades were crossed when the other 2 guards ran forward and slashed. I jumped back and watched as they slashed at the guard I had been facing. The two guards charged forward. I ran froward and slashed one of the guards chests open. Slowly blood spurted out at the other guard and he was coated n the firey red substance. He came forward in a blind charge. I lept up over him and turned and got back into stance. He came back at me and our blades clashed several times. Suddenly he knocked me back with the force of his blade. I rolled and landed on my butt. I immediately brought my sword forth and found myself in a mexican standoff with the guard. He brought his sword down and stabbed me in the shoulder. A little bit of blood splurted out at him and hit him in the eye. He staggered a bit and saw all red. I pullled mysef up and swung with the blade and severed his torso form his head and lower body.

Me: I was forced to grow up.

"How so?"*looks at her puzzled*

Me: Well, at 5 I had to help restore peace whenever yhe Blue Wings had conflicts with another group. Trust me, there were alot of conflicts.

"I can hardly imagine..."

Me: They didn't have any girls and they needed one. Besides, they taught me everthing I know.

OOC: Can you guys make your reply's more than 2 sentences long, at least.

"I see...where were the other women at? I'm sure there had to be more than juts you."*looks at her as they continue walking*

Me: * thinks* Well, the Blue Wings were just forming. There weren't much women around the area then. * sighs* Well, what was your past like?

OOC: If Heero were to mention knowing me the story might move along faster.

OOC: How so? I don't want to post my story until I know what BM's sayin cuz I might consider it.

OOC: * sighs*

OOC: I mean like I am some part of your past. Be it a bully or a good friend or something. Cus when we meet we mont have to spend much time with introductions and all that jazz.

OOC: Ok.

"Well, I was raised in the church all my life. Took in the lessons about God and became wise myself. I became a priest at a very young age, but I'm still not considered one even though I was ordained. There was this one man that was banished and excommunicated from our church, he was a good friend. He didn't leave without a fight, that's for sure. He was taught swordsmanship skills by the same man that taught me. His name is Alexander. I don't know why he was banished, but whatever reason it was, it must've had to deal with the Hand of Life and the Elder's arrogant ambition. I wonder where he is now. Anyways, some months after he left, I found out of the Elder's true intentions of this war. It wasn't Anjina that started it, it was them. I found out that they were after the Hand of Life, so I decided to leave the church and destroy it before they could obtain this destructive item."

Me: Wow, that's interesting.

Alexander
One of the guards was still alive.
I asked him if he knew anything about the Hand Of Life. He answered" No"
I grabbed my sword and said " You're dying now but I can amke you live longer and if you don't tell me I will torture you till you die from the pain"
" No please. Dont I have a child back at the chrch" said the guard.
" Well you have a child so I'll make this quick and painless. But as a consellation I will send your head back and if you're child decides he wants to kill me I will give him a chance to. I believe that's pretty fair"
I shoved my blade in the man's stomach and twisted it. He began to cry and asked for some type of divine retribution. " Sorry my friend. But chose to mess with wrong motherfucker." As I dug the blade deeper my vision clouded and I stumbled to the left and fell down. Bloodloss is a real bitch sometimes.

*laughs*"Not really. Just some events of my life that have some interest in them. My life was boring for the most part besides being with God. Lessons were baised, days were slow and uneventful, everything was strict. The church was fine until this war came about that the Elder's started."

Me: * cringes*

Alexander
I awoke hours later with handcuffs on my legs and arms being dragged along b y some asshole in a shirt with a blue wing on it.

*laughs*

Me: What's so funny? * guard comes up from behind me and pokes me on shoulder. I turn around* What's wrong?

Alexander
" What the fuck"

Guard: Excuse me m'lady, but we can't keep this prisoner. * pushes man in cuffs*

"Well, it's just that-"*guard comes and I move behind her as she turns to face him*

Alexander
" Lucky bastard. I'm gonna kill ya the minte I get ot of these chains"

Guard: * walks away*
Me: Are you okay sir? * kneels by him*

Alexander
" The fuck do you think"

Me: I'm sorry. * reaches for key*

Alexander
" Hurry the fuck up"

Me: :( * grabs key*

Alexander
" Grr open the god damn locks already woman."

Me: Guard! Can you take this prisoner back?

Alexander
" Come near me guard and I will kill you"

Me: *unlocks cuffs*

Alexander
" Grrr."

"No! Do you know what the Elder's are up to? Is that why you were banished? I left to find and destroy that cursed item."*clenches fist*

Me: * flinches*

" Why else would they kick put the worlds greatst warrior"

Me: Greatest warrior?

" Greatest fuckin warrior in the world"

"Yes, but you weren't at the church. You know you trained much better there than anywhere else."

" The church sucks. "

"Ah yes, but it had amazing training facilities. Which makes you wonder why they have them."

" Its pretty obvious why they have the facility's. "

"Heheh, at least now it is."* put back on my hood*

Me: Hmmm.

"They don't seem so dangerous", Avathar whispered to himself. "But still...no time to take a risk..their armor looks quite similar." In a speedy way he walked all the way down the old staircase back to the cellar, grabbing his newfound items and his trusty double-bladed sword.
"Saito....where are you...."
Avathar heard the approaching knights opening the main door to the grand hall.
"There must be a reason for this all."
He climbed out of the same crack in the wall he came in, and sneaked past up the wall towards the main entrance. The foul wind is strenghtening again in the air.

Me: Should we start walking again?

*turns to her*"Yes, we should. You are more than welcome to come Alexander."

Alexander
" Naw I'm straight. Gotta take the church down."

Me: What?!

"Well, while you do that, I'll take out their goal."*makes a fist*

Alexander
" Would you by any chance no antything about THE HAND OF LIFE"

Me: It's in Luca.

"Just that it is residing in the far off country of Luca. That is where I'm headed."

Alexander
" I heard about it. Though I doubt the one in Luca is real"

Me: * thinks*

"Well, it's our only lead. We might as well take it. I doubt the Elder's know where it is either or this war would've been over."

Me: * pulls out something*

" Thats why its no there. The church would have it by now."

"I doubt that. They're just taking territory as they make their way to Luca."*turns to Casper*"Have what?"

Bus suddenly loses control and rolls down a cliff.Aerine and I managed to jump out but the other passengers didn't make it.We headed for a nearby forest to hope find someone.
