Final Fantasy: Waves Of Time (RP)

This will be a Final Fantasy RP. Most of everything will be embodied in role play...from memories to outrageous conflicts amongst characters Boss Battles WILL be the BIGGEST and ONLY battles we'll be dealing with as a party, training may be done with other party members but no mandatory. I will be responsible for battle system mechanics(HP/MP/types of magic available throughout the story, etc). I will also be responsible for locating and bringing(via images) Bosses with stats and abilities. Everyone will have its own summons(Fuubi)later on in the story. We all start at Lvl.1 , magic and abilities based on jobs and will follow FFX-2's ability grid(with extra abilities that can be learned, PM me for those). HP/MP and all of that I will post after everyone has filled in the VIII available character slots. Remember, the FIRST 9 characters will start off the story, those that are not dedicated and don't post much at all will be considered too weak to take on the journey and will be kicked out of our party, so I encourage people to post their profiles even if 8 characters are already in the story. I will also recruit party members if we're ever too short on party members. Please let's have fun here:choc2: And please send me suggestions through PM.

We will start our own journey and eventually find party members as the story goes on...and from there we'll take off. Remember you can stay away from the party as much as you want but it might change the way party members treat you.

magic and abilities will be based on level so please DO NOT use magic and abilities that are not available to you based on your level. Level restrictions before each boss will be set. Sometimes the boss will be in a level below us, sometimes he'll be above us. He will also be able to be levels above the restriction but that'll be rare.

-In BATTLE POSTS
-If party members don't train....it'll be easier for the whole party to loose, so beware, the more you train the better.
-Charisma will develop based on how much you interact with other party members and townsfolks...so the more you do so, the easier it'll be for you to reach your Limit Break. Limit Breaks will allow you to kill bosses faster and will also have levels, you'll level up your limit break every 60 lines of conversation with party members or townsfolks
-Story will not be based on FFs(I-XII). We'll make OUR story =).
-Fiends which you can train with will be posted by region.
-Fiends will range from Easy to Very Hard. The easier the fiend, the less turns it'll take to beat. The harder the fiend, the more turns it'll take to beat.
-Limit Breaks will NOT be useable in "training". Only in BOSS battles.
-Additional Limit Breaks will be learned every 20 Lvl.s (Be creative and remember that your LM can be fall in any category, from stealing a bunch of money*if you're a thief* to casting Mighty Guard if you're a blue mage)
-Everyone will have a summon(Fuubi)later on in the story. White Mages will have an additional one.
-Missed events will result in your deletion of the RP.
-There must be a reasonable amount of dedication to be kept in the RP.
-Failure of interest will result in deletion.
-In Boss battles, please cut and paste your statuses into your posts(hp, mp, str, etc.).

He's a little lazy when it comes to taking orders but when the situation's critical he fights with all his will. He has a very soft and caring side but most of the time is serious and sarcastic. VERY VERY shy around girls but tries to look good around them.

She was adopted by her mother how taught her in the ways of the Shinoubi and taught the Al Bhed language and is able to use her weapons like she does today. Now 16, she is a mercenary for hire. She gets mad very easily and will kick your butt if she has to. She will practically do anything for money, if the pay is good. She will sometimes speak in Al Bhed if angered or very excited.

Bio: Zack just finished working for the National Service. He started when he was 15, 5 years ago, he trained in the deady art of gun-mastery. He has mastered the use of double barrelled magnums, two of which he kept from the service as a momento. His family died just 2 years ago, due to a strange disease that was roaming his home area.
He still waers his father's sparring gauntlets for good measure in battle.
He is very thoughtful, but shows no fear around girls. Hoiwever, he doesn't go around acting the big act, he likes to stand back and let the girls have their space. He can be quite funny and sarcastic, and very rarely takes anything seriously.

A few years later, this man would use the spells and destroy countless innocent people before being captured. Kajahta has never forgiven himself for this and it always torments him. Since then, he lives a quiet life and tries to protect people from evil whenever possible. Although he is good at keeping other people in line, his inner demons always get the best of him.

He then stoole the katans and ran away from the man. He paracticed the katans everyday until he mastered them at the age of 17.
Limit break Swift- Slices his enemy to pieces quicker then the human eye can follow.

The southern peninsula on the western continent will have a mountain range with a village right in the middle of the mountains. The peninsula will be named the Krytan peninsula, the mountain range will be, of course, the Krytan mountains, and the village will be named Mosel village.

Kiragia is a small city / extra large town. There is an arcade there, full of games, rides, v.r. thingies. Theres an agressive sort of ice hockey, a very aggresive version of basketball.
This city is very modern, but not quite as far as Zanarkand, probably more like a posh Midgar.

i wake up as my database reboots manually from stasis. as i look around, it comes to me that im in a dark cave, as the walls are stone. i dont know why ive been put in hibernation, but i decide to find out why. i see that hter is a large stone in my path out. i move it with immense strength and advance to the long plains in front of me.

*Trinity*

As i walk through town, with all the hustle and bustle of the farmers from the lowlands of the mountains setting up their stands getting ready for the morning sale, I notice that the ppl in the village aren't that enthusiastic. It was as though something happened over night that took away their happiness. I go up to a man i know. "What's happened to everyone?" "Oh, nothing Trin. They just feel that something bad is to occur so they feel a little down." "I see." As i bid him goodbye for the morning, I notice a flyer outside the door to the pub.

i look around as i see enormous plains in front of my eyes too far beyond the glistening horizon to see fully. as the database in my android brain finally kicks in, one word comes to me... "rygan plains". this place i must have been to before stasis. a few minutes later the database has loaded all the possible paths of the entire world!!!! my creator must have been a genius... i set off west to find a possible route to makana village, to try and rent a chocobo or some other transport.

"these plains seem endless " i thought as i became more and more aware of my abilities, getting used to my functions again. i found i was compatible with the superhuman muscular augementation intallation, giving me superhuman strength and endurance, using these to get me through the harsh plains with slight difficulty.

Bio:as a kid, Kusanagi was troubled, lost his dad and brother to a bone dragon, he never had a great physique so when his brother died no one would protect him from the bigger kids, and being so shy and beat up he never had luck with the ladys. he decided to change that and start to work out, built up his muscles, tried to look good for the girls, but the muscles gave kusanagi a cocky attitude, nobody found that cool so he decided to become something cool by becoming a necromancer. that didnt do it either because the day he earned his scythe and eyes was the day all became afraid of him and he was thrown out of his village. so now he roames without a purpose, except for the rush of death.

Hang out with villagers and help them out anyway you can(side quests)
You can make friends in your village or Kingdom(if there's a Kingdom in your region).
You can travel to other regions and train (fiends you can face are the ones the Generals summoned, more will be posted tomorrow).
You can follow the directions of the flyer Meis sent out to the 7 fighters of each region.
You can meet up with one of the other fighters.

PS: to travel to other regions or Ferry Service buildings, you must pay.

-And no, you'll be able to summon Fuubis(summons)when we're up to the part where you may summon them.

-But yes, Luna Carnbucle will serve as your primary attacker. Now if you want your character to change Job, your character will need to travel to the farthest western tip on region9. But beware, it's fairly easy to change your job now, but if you do so when you've Lvled up you'll lose 10 Lvl.s so you're fine at the beginning to do so.

-You'll also get new buddies to fight for you every 10 Lvl.

as the ferry finally lands in at mijara port, i step off the boat to find a very beautiful village in front of my eyes. it is very sunny, there are lots of kids running about, the dock is constantly loaded with fish!!!! i stroll up the path when i notice a flyer left on the floor. i pick it up and read it. apparently, someone called meis wants to meet 7 elite fighters to attrmpt to rebel agianst this "king lafiel" not knowing of any of these people (yet) i decide to dispose of the flyer.

as stroll through the place, i decide to have a look at the stalls along the main path. "hopefully i can find some info" i say to myself as i remember the flyer i had just disposed of. "who is meis???" i wonder, as i ponder these secrets, all i say is "i might find out in time."

I travel through the froest looking for any signs of human life, and then i come across a piece of cloth. It didn't look old so it must have been here for not so long. I scan the area and then I see a tree that has been ravaged pretty severely. I approach it and suddenly a golem comes from the right and a rain marboro from the left. "Looks like a stand off." I spoke too soon. An iron baby dragon flew dwon from the top of the tree. "Help us!" I hear a voice from the tree. "Oh, you're not standin in my way!"

-Seems you didn't read post#50 for your Special Job abilities. Thief's take one more turn to defeat fiends, on the other hand, fiends WILL miss 3/2 times(don't remember exactly how many times).

-You didn't use fiends attacks Distorted Fish(1)(2T)(4exp)*biting fury*, Distorted Fish(2)(2T)(4exp)*biting fury*, and Insane Turtle(2T)(4exp)*sand earthquake*. These moves are the ONLY moves they're able to attack you with.

-Aside from that, it's pretty good:) I love the way your character handles situations and what the way she talks:p . Oh and those comments after you defeat fiends are a PLUS. Oh and 'bout the whole thing feeling like a lot to type, don't worry 'bout it, these kinds of events don't happen very often. Most of your training will only consist of the fighting part and not the talking part. Oh and don't worry, no need to edit your battle.

-Add 4 Extra exp(Which comes from style, you add style to your battle, you get extra EXP, it changes often, so check post#1 often)

When he arrives, he spots his friend Yamaco buying something from a street vendor (he has the same attitude as Kajahta and went on a mission with him while they were both mercenarys. They have been close friends since) As Kajahta approaches him, Yamaco turns around and forms a smile on his face."So you finally leaving our town. I thought I'd be the first to go but you proved me wrong again." He says as he looks at Kajahta's bag containing his belongings."Dont worry, its not permanent. Theres just somewhere I need to go for a while. Dont get yourself killed while im gone." Kajahta says as he departs for the ferry. "Ha, ha. I'l keep that in mind. Take care." Yamaco says as the two exchange waves goodbye. Kajahta arrives at the busy harbor and finds the man in charge of the ferry heading towards Miraja isle. I'm sorry but this just seems like the most whacked-out confusing thing ever. I need to get so many things straight before I can possibly continue.
1. If I attack with my weapon then it takes me 8 hits to defeat any fiend (right?)
2. what buddies fight for me when I reach every 10 levels?
3. I still don't understand the levelling up and stat changing system?
4. You haven't told me how powerful the attacks for the Summon are
5. along with a whole bunch of other stuff I haven't discovered I don't know about yet

Btw Deathknight is it alright for us to PM you if we have any ideas for the RP. I think this could work out well if we could. If one of us came up with an idea involving another character then you could PM the other member to see if they'd agree to it meaning we wouldn't have to discuss any of the storyline here which would also make it more interesting for the other characters because they wouldn't know what would happen.

Willy has just finished off his new pair of shoes in a darkened cave away from the montrosities of the shores of Mijara Isle. At the very same time he sees a ferry reach the shore and a man carrying a staff in a green cloak disembark. Willy dons the pair of shoes and climbs out the cave careful to still remain amongst the shadows. Something about the look of the guy seems to dawn on him. Willy has just finished off his new pair of shoes in a darkened cave away from the montrosities of the shores of Mijara Isle. At the very same time he sees a ferry reach the shore and a man carrying a staff in a green cloak disembark. Willy dons the pair of shoes and climbs out the cave careful to still remain amongst the shadows. Something about the look of the guy seems to dawn on him. Willy's newest attire enables him to travel extremely light-footed. With the aid of the nearest star (think of a name ppl) shining at it's brightest Willy is wily able to pursue his target (from the darkest of shadows) who is quite unaware of his presence.
