I was a little hesitant to post in this forum due to the its nature, however it seems that it is the best place.
This is directly mostly toward the moderators, however it is best if anyone interested could read this straight away.
I coordinate a cross-community roleplaying competition and I was wondering if anyone from EOFF would be interested in participating. In the past we had boards choose a team to represent its home community, however we now allow multiple entries from single communities.
The contest is basically this: each team is provided with a rough roleplay outline including world information, a premise and perhaps a small handful of stock characters. The teams then have a set completion date (which could range from a couple of weeks to perhaps as much as two months) to get as far into their story as they can. After that each RP is judged by a panel and then a winner is decided based on a marking rubric devised by the judges (taking into account teamwork, deligence, originality, grammar, et cetera).
That is the short version, anyway.
