[RP] Kingdom Hearts:The Early Age

Now, i remember a time when we had a pretty good RP going in the kingdom hearts forum and I remember that it was with stupid bickering that it collapsed underneath us.

So I am going to try and get this thing to work and make sure that it stays organized and clean.

Okay, the story is going to be created as we go but i will be guiding people, either by PM's or updates in this thread. It will follow the exploits of a previous keyblade master (the one before sora) so we will need someone to fill in that position (i'll explain the profiles below). Now I do ask that if you wish to be the Keyblade wielder that you have some experience in the RP'ing field and though no-one will be critizising anyone if they can't make regular posts you will only be hurting the RP and we may need to get someone else so that the story can move on.

Now, as for positions, we will need a keyblade master and his two companions (really only one as my active character will be one of them). that is the only compulsary part. If you want to create a 'love of the KB'ers life' kind of character or his 'crush' then you can but you will have to pass it by them and eventually me. The other character that the RP could use is a bad-guy. If no-one steps up to fill the role then I will make a NPC bad-guy but let's get some interaction peeps.

Well i'll just give a basis for the story to lead onto so that we're not all blundering around:

"The world is currently a peacefull place. Heartless have been non-existent for over a century and the worlds have been seperated for the same amount of time. But something has changed.

The Abyss known as Kingdom Hearts has been corrupted by darkness and Heartless have once again started re-appearing in the worlds. Mass Panic has spread throughout the lands which have become once again interlinked.

But to counter the growing evil the Keyblade has re-appeared and a keyblade master has been chosen. He inhabits the land that will oneday become destiny islands but for now it is one massive island."

I've left alot open as you can see, but you will need to start on destiny island (no plural) and if you are either the keyblade master or his other companion you will have to be around 14 or 15. Other than that you can do what you want. Below is a template for profiles.

Name: Your characters name.
Sex: The gender of your character
Age: How old your character is
Class: If your character is a swordsman, a magician, a fistfighter it goes in here
Appearence: What your character looks like
Personality: How your character acts. The more in-depth you are the better here. We want to know if they're a coward, if they're brave, strong and any other little traits. Any connections relationship wise to the keyblade master will go in here also.
Weapons: What Weapons your character currently has equipt. As you go you will be able to buy new weapons (or get new keychains) but staying with true KH fashion you will have to be true to your class and weapon type. So your character cannot start with a sword and then start using a mace or be using a sword when they are a boxer. I would also like to keep the original feel, so be creative.
Magic: If your character is a wizard then this applies to you. I'm going to supply packages of magic. If you are an all rounder then you will get fire, blizzard and thunder. If you are a specific element type then you will get that element and it's next upgrade. so thunder will get thunder and thundara. The other option will be a healer where you will get cure and its upgrade. If you want a specific package PM me and i'll look over it.
Drive: With new evidence in KH2 trailers it would be stupid to leave out the drive mode when it looks so cool. To start your character will not have a drive but i will combine this with the special moves found in KH1. If you have a favourite move like strike raid or Arkanum then put it in here. If it blends with your character then i will allow it. That is to say that a magician will not be able to use ragnarok. This should tide you over untill your character obtains his first drive.
Background: Finally put in you character background and family history ect.

Fill that in, post it in this thread and wait for a reply from me. I'm going to leave mine 'till we have a Keyblade wielder so i can work in a friendship. Once your profile is approved don't just jump in, I'd like to wait till we have a few people then we'll start.

class: sword mage (a mage that uses a sword to ampliphy magic insted of a magic wand)

apperince: he wears a whight upper shirt unbuttend with a black undershirt underneth,he wears a necklass with a symble of the sun and moon,has long slytly baggy pants with a chain coming out of one of the pockets (there whight pants),plain dark green shoes with lasses that are a little to long,he has a couple scars on his face and whers black rim glasses.

personality:kind gental always willing to help,athough he is all these things its kinda ruened becouse he is pritty clomsy,this clomseness causes him to fall alot witch often times can runen everything,but with all that aside he will alwas stick by the peaple he loves and usaly only leave if forces behond his control force him to or if he cooses to himself,he is also counstently getting in truble for his clumsyness wich sometimes makes bad impressions on new people,but no matter what goes wrong he will almost alwas go and try again.

wepons: a basic sword he found laying on the outscerts of dyesteny island, one strange thing however is that he is able to use mage skills when he has it ecipted which is very strange to ringoku,also the sword has a weard slot in the side of the blade and he has no idea what it means.
(note:his blade upgrades by using mage stones,allthough ringoku does not know this)
(note again:one stone will not be enough to ubgrade the blade you see the stones are of different eliments healing,lightning,fire,ice,wind and you need at least 3 of them to upgrade and by mixing different stones you get the sword upgrades in a different way.)
(one more thing:mage stones are rarely droped by elimental enimes)


magic:fire,ice,heal level one (note he can note do lighting spells he can only do lighting if he transforms his sword in the way of lightning mage stones)

background:ringoku has lived on the island all his life and hes grown to love it, his father died a while back from an dieses which almost runed rins life but as they say time heals all wounds,he is great freinds with the new keyblade master (although i do not know is name since he is not here yet), he is also fairly smart for his age being able to make lots of different things as long as he can avoid braking it becuse of his dumb clumsyness,he hopes one day to go to other islands to study animelsor to teach magic to thouse who wish to learn.

(note again again: although my rp name in this is ringoku the compainions im with i would like for them to anly use rin but hey if you choose not to well thats ok to i was just noting)

Let's be random today and try for the keybearer position.

Name: Tav Highwind (I can't really think of another last name with the second grade mentality I'm functioning at right now, so I don't really know if this kid will have any connection to Cid)

Age: 14

Class: Swordman (I just can't think of the keybearer using a quarterstaff....it doesnt' seem right even though staves are fun)

Appearence: Medium length (cut right above the chin), straight, messy, blond hair with bright blue eyes. Wears a white t-shirt under an old denim jacket that's too torn up to button up anymore with baggy, hand-me-down blue jeans and a pair of off-white sneakers.

Personality: Very ornery. Loves playing pranks on his friends, family, enemies...basically anyone who will give him a good laugh. Generally well natured and fun to be around, but person has to know him well enough to not take everything he says seriously. Otherwise, he seems cocky, sarcastic, and a little cynical. He's a real charmer with the ladies...and by charmer I mean he likes to gross them out and play tricks on them like he does to everyone else (at least he thinks he's charming). Other than that, he's a good person and can, on occasion, act serious when the event calls for it.

Weapon: A nice looking longsword that he...umm...borrowed from his oldest brother. It's a pretty average looking sword but it gets handed down in his family because of it's history of good luck and victory.

Magic: pretty N/A as of yet

Drive: let me think on it (he's too young to be killing people so viciously...give him a week)

Background: Middle child of five. He has an older brother, older sister, younger brother and younger sister (in that order). His dad works with airships and transportation on the island (even though it's a very small department). And his mom is a babysitter/cheif/doctor/lawyer/housemaid/ect. like most mom's tend to be, but she actually gets paid for job with medicine. Dad's usually not home that much, and mom has to spend a lot of time with the family so she's borderline insane so Tav likes to live at other people's houses to get away from it all. Hello best friend. When he's not hanging with his buddies or harrassing the locals, he's over at the port playing around with the prototype airships his father works with and thus has a lot of experience repairing and driving a number of vehicles. This fascination with airships has also fueled his curiousity of the worlds outside of Destiny Islands.

This RP is only open for four characters? If that is the case, I will be the villian. Does that mean I am more powerful than the rest in the start?

But i will make an exception, since it was my fault for not making a profile strait away. Anyway, it would appear that the keyblade wielder has scored big time and will have three friends who accompany him. So here's my profile.

Name: Jed Kiam

Sex: Male

Age: 15

Class: Swordsman

Appearence: He wears baggy black, cargo pants which have metal pandants hanging from their pockets. He has black, steel caped boots and black gloves. When around the island he can usually be seen in a black tank-top or t-shirt but when he goes out he will don a black cloak that reaches his calves. He has brown eyes and black hair that just reaches his shoulders.

Personality: He seems very quiet to most people and that is because he is. He rarely trusts those who he doesn't know and even his friends will have to bug his feelings out of him. but when he is relaxed he will joke around and actually has a good sense of humour. On the battlefield he takes great joy in the fight and will usually taunt his enemies.

Weapons: Jed uses two wooden swords that he has glued pieces of scrap steel over and painted black. Though a bit makeshift he has used them for years and they are very sharp.

Magic: N/A yet

Drive: No drive yet but he has created his own version of sonic blade whre he will lunge at apponents slashing his two swords in front of him. He also has an irregularly high jump.

Background: His father was once a very powerful man who would represent destiny islands on trade negotiations and such. He eventually retired with a fair bit of money which kept their family financially secure. When jed was 12 his mother died of a rare cough. He was very distraught but nothing compared to what happened to his father. Jed's dad caved in mentally, he thought that his mother was still alive and would talk, hours on end to the chair where she used to sit. It pained Jed to see him like that so he became accustomed to leaving the house early and coming back late.
He is good friends with Ringoku because he too has lost a parent but he see's something in all of them. The four of them stay around destiny islands in a tight group and because of their joking nature are looked upon as a a bit nieve.

OK, so that's done now i'll have to review your profiles. Empu, your character is ok but you can't have cure. He has to use magic for attack considering that it passes through his sword and i'd like only one element to start, we'll upgrade as you get more mage stones.

Blue Angel, the only problem is once again the magic. There's nothing on your profile saying that your character is a mage so she's can't start out with any magic.

HTC9, fine excpet that you wont be able to use the sword for long.

Unknowns, you're fine, go ahead and make a bio. But i will be making another bad-guys that you will have to work with. Oh and can you tell me what your drives do, just so i know how powerful they are.

Ok, i think i covered everything. We'll wait a little longer before we start.

ok ill give him fire to start, and im glad you accsepted my mage stone idea i dident know if it was acceptible or not,oh and remember that my charecter does not know that his sword can upgrade with mage stones he is going to have to meet someone who does or you have to make him find out another way.

one queston to end are we traveling to disney worlds like in the game or are we going to be original about this,and are we going to have summens or is the key master the only one who is able to do this,and agine will the key master be able to do fusion drives where he can combine with a compainion,last but not least how much mp am i starting out with and hp i would like to know that to.

I don't care if I don't get to keep my sword too long. I kinda figured I'd loose it for the keyblade...that's why I didn't put too much effort into it. That and I'm feeling really lazy right now. :)

CHRISTMAS

Drive: Twlight of the Heavens- Blind the area with heavenly light, and heavenly rays rain down from the heavens. Those that get hit by the heavenly rays won't be able to use their drives for a moment of time.

Eternity of Darkness: Engulf the entire area with Darkness while Heartless crawl out from it randomly and unleash mutiple attacks against the enemies. The heartless dissappear when the spell loses effect.

Fallen Angel: Enhance strengths,speed,skills..etc. Only use in emergency. Those that get killed while the user is in this form will turn into a heartless.

End of Creations: Damage the enemies with a huge energy ball of darkness and unleash a Frenzy of slashes. Finishes off with one big mightly slash while mulitple energy rays got blasted out to the enemies upon impact of the sword.

Bio: She is a skilled swordmaster and also a intelligent scholar in Hollow Bastion. She deemed herself as perfect and put the burden of guiding everyone to perfection as her responsiblity. She is greatly respected and people look up to her in her knowledge and skills. However, she sees humans and alike as ignorant and a disorder kind. They are far from perfect, and need to be reformed.

She wanted to make a difference to every humans and alike throughout every world. She realize she will need power to do so. She researched on the power of Darkness to attain God-like powers so as to guide and enlighten every existence, She will watch over everything as a Goddess.

Personality: Likes to stay in the back, and isn't a very good thinker under pressure. She prefers not to be the center of attention, and will often put the focus on someone else if possible. She can weave plausible lies quite well, but doesn't enjoy it.
Weapons: Morning Star, a keyblade (if she can. Otherwise, she uses two kodachis, Dusk's Star, a completely black sword, and Dawn's sun, a silver sword that gives off a faint light)
Magic: Fire
Drive: None
Background: Myrna has no memory of her past, and only remembers finding herself in a strange land. She follows the orders of a strange "shadow" that tells her that if she can successfully lead the keyblade to it, then she will regain her memories. (Not sure if this will work...)

OK, Christmas is fine.

Empu, I guess we'll have someone in a shop tell you about your sword when we get off the island. The Mp will not be mp but we'll make it realistic in the sense that doing magic too much will tire you. Summons will be included later but only the Keyblade master can use them but all party members must be with him. Yes, we will visit other worlds and there will be disney and final fantasy characters.

Starlight Angel your character is approved but we may catch up to you in another world.

I guess I'll start (I seriously have nothing better to do before my exams).

Tav Highwind woke with a start. His pillow was halfway across the room, his covers strewn every which way, and he found that he was facing the opposite direction from when he went to bed last night. “That was…awkward,” he said aloud to himself.
“You bet that was awkward,” a voice said from his left. He looked down to find his older brother looking up at him holding a shredded pillow. “What did the pillow ever do to you?”
Tav climbed down from his perch on the top bunk to get a closer look at the pillow, stepping on his younger brother on the way down. He just gurgled and rolled over. Tav got to the bottom and took few steps closer to his older brother. “I don’t have anything against the pillow…” he said cautiously. “Was I…sleep walking or something?”
“I don’t know bro, but do you need to see a psychiatrist or something? I personally don’t feel too safe sleeping in the same room with you if you’re going to just randomly rip things…or people…apart.”
“I never sleep walk,” Tav said again, more to himself since he was completely ignoring everything his older brother was saying. “But I have been having these weird dreams lately…”
“Maybe we could tie you down while you sleep, or…”
Tav turned around and headed for the closet, still ignoring his older brother’s comments. He rummaged around a bit and tugged on a pair of blue jeans and threw a t-shirt on over his head. Backwards. Took his shirt off and tried again. “This is not my day,” he muttered while looking around for his sneakers.
“Helloooo…Tav? Are you listening to me?”
He found his sneakers and once fully dressed, headed out the door and down the stairs. His father was trying fruitlessly to quiet his baby sister. “Did she even stop crying from last night?”
“Where’s your mother?” Tav’s father asks him desparately. Tav shrugs and continues down the stairs.
“I think she’s with Danny ‘cause he’s running a fever of 103.” Tav’s mother pushes past him with a thermometer and a hot water bottle and goes to grab the baby sister from dad. The baby immediately stops cying.
Tav’s father looks astonished. “How does she do that?”
Baby cradled in one arm and hot water bottle and thermometer balanced in the other, Tav’s mother turns towards him. “Don’t leave. I need to check you and Jeremy to makes sure none of you have what Danny has. Just let me wash off this thermometer first.”
“Ummmm…” Tave starts, “I’m feeling just fine really.” He makes a beeline for the door before his mother can argue with him.
The warm island sun felt good and the breeze was perfect. Birds were chirping and the waves were rolling majestically. Tav didn’t care all that much for poetry, so he headed straight for the docks to find something to occupy his mind with. He had a speedboat him and his dad had been working on and he was eager to tweak the last couple things to finally get the boat up and running. Tav was even more eager about testing his creation out when it was finally done.

A large wave crashed upon one of the docks, sending water spraying onto the platform. Unfortunately for Jed, this is where he had ended up sleeping that night, so he was awoken in the most cruel of ways.

"Whaddayawan?" Blinking sleep from his eyes and shivering, Jed looked around to see who, or what had disturbed him. It was only when another wave sprayed all over the jetty and himself did he realize the culprit. He heaved himself up and did a few jumps on the spot, to get his legs prepared for another day of movement. Once that was done he fell forward onto the jetty, putting out his hands just before his face collided. Then he proceeced to do his morning push-ups. "1....2...3....4..." This continued for awhile, but as he was almost winding down he heard a voice to his near left.

"So you think your real macho Jed? Macho this" BOOM! Tav fell butt first onto Jed's back, cackling all the while. Jed's cheek was pressed up against the damp wood of the jetty and he could feel the moister seeping through his shirt.

"So what are you doing up so early Jed? I always took you for a person who liked to sleep in?"

"Goffme!"

Tav Smiled and continued his charade "What was that Jed? You'll have to speak up."

"Gerrofme!" Then, using what little strength he had access to he pushed his arms up, just enough for him to roll over and get Tav off his back. "Goddamit Tav, you're an ass." Panting hard, Jed managed to sit up again.

Tav Laughed "Yeah, i know. What where you doing out here anyway."

Jed gave him a warning look and Tav picked up on it "Oh, ok. Yeah family can be a bit of a downer."

Another warning look from Jed and Tav got the idea and changed the subject "Have you seen the others?"

"No, they're probably still asleep. which begs the question, what are you doing here?"

Just one question....will you be controlling our chars very frequently?

CHRISTMAS

"I don't know what you are preaching, but it sounds cultish. We do not welcome you here in Destiny Islands" said an old man.

"You don't understand Elder,it seems like through pain and suffering will a person see the true path" I sighed.

I turned my back at him and left.

"ringoku breakfast" rins mom said from the dining room
"yeah, i hear you" rin yelled back to her
rin got up and dressed himself and did his normal morning activities, then headed down to the dining room.
"whats up mom" rin said half asleep at the table
"well nothing really happend so i guess i cant really say anything"she said without even looking around from the stove.
"thats cool,i guess" rin said to her "whats for breakfast" he also added
"panckes i hope you like them" mom said this time looking around and smileing
"im sure i will" rin said

Rin ate briskly then grabed his sword,backpack and a book called elimental spells before heading out to see what the new day looks like.
Rin looked outside and it looked great he headed out and headed on the long walk to the docks where he usualy did his morning studies and mayby he would even see xian, tav, or jed along the way.

“Can’t a kid go out for a nice morning stroll every once and a while?” There was an unpleasant silence. “Yeah, I didn’t believe that too much either,” Tav continued. “I’m here cause I woke up to my older bro’s bright smiling face this morning. He’s kinda bitter cause I through a pillow at him. I mean it wasn’t that big of a deal…sure the pillow was shredded to the point where you didn’t really know it was a pillow anymore, but it’s just a pillow all the same.”
Tav paused for a moment and dropped down to a sitting position. “I’ve had a very awkward morning….Actually…not morning. I’ve had a very awkward night…couple of nights. I’ve been having these weird dreams lately. I don’t even know what I’m seeing, but it all seems so real. Does that make any sense?…Nevermind. It’s stupid.”
Without another word, Tav stripped off his shoes and jumped off the dock into the water.

Age: 112 (never talks about age in story and looks like a girl of 15-17)

Class: Sorceress of another dimension/ elf and human descendant

Personality: A misteriuous woman that has gathered a lot of knowledge during the course of her life and now is willing to help others by enlightening their ways and finally resting in peace after doing this. She is a know-it-all beautiful women that can communicate only with the main characters of this RP.Sometimes she appears in battles and given cures and lifes to the characters, or help defeat the enemy with a powerful, once-in-a-life, spell.

Appearence: Kind of looks like Ultimecia but wears a white tunic and has really, really long white hair. Her face is much like Ashe of FF12 (my avatar).

Weapons: mentally (telepaticaly) produced magic. Doesnt need weapon

Drive: Dont understand what this is :( sorry!

Backround: little is known about Ania, apart from the fact that her father was an elf and her mother a human. Relationships between these 2 races are unforgivable so they had to hide in a mountain called Mt. Esparanza. Soldiers locate where they are and kill both of them, but the thing is, The woman had already given birth. Ania survived 10 years with the help of mystic creatures which she said "you wont believe me If I tell you how they were, theyre beyond youre dimensional capability of understanding". Ania then turned to be an apprentice of The worldwide known Sir Khao, which teached her all she knows. He showed her to travel through dimensions before he died. The rest is story.....

OOC: Nani, this rp is user controlled so If you had a character that told other people info, you'd have to get that info from me or at least run it past me. If you're ok with that then yes you're approved. But you do have an understanding of Kingom Hearts yes?

"Dreams huh?" Jed stared at Tav who resurfaced on the top of the water "what happens in them?"

Tav frowned, as if trying to remember some memory lost long ago "Um, i can't remember, but it's so dark." He scratched his head, still in thought "and there's a voice, it asks me things. But I can't remember any specific details. Only that it feels like i'm falling."

Now it was Jed's turn to frown "Well that's wierd. Anyway, who care, it's probably not important." He layed down on his back at the edge of the pier, his head hanging over the last plank. As he stared out at the upside down horizon, another puzzled look came over his face "Wow, wouldja look at those clouds, looks like a storms coming."

Tav turned his head and stared "Hey, you're right." Already dark cloauds were forming, it seemed like they were coming fast.

"Hmm guess you'd better tie up your boat tonight Tav, it's gonna cop it."

rin had reached the start of the peir and as he looked down it he seen tav and jed at the end of the peir tav inn the water of course.

"hey guys rin said and then he began to run down the peir to see what they where up to.

one strange thing rin notest as he ran however is that he seen dark clouds in the distence they looked like storm clouds but for some reason they apeard slightly different then normal storm clouds, however rin disided not to care about it right at this moment.

OOC: don't be afraid to interact with the other characters a bit more empu :)

"Hey rin" Jed sat up and stared as Ringoku made his way down the peer "Seen Xian anywhere"

"No I just came from home. What are you guys doing"

Tav swam closer to the pier. "nothing. Which means that we're going to have to find Xian and do something."

"Well there's that cave that some kids said is on the other side of the island. They may have been lying, but it's worth a look and we can make a day of it."

Tav and Jed nodded in agreement.

OOC: Ok i'm going to PM Blue Angel and see if she's still in on this. Till then, talk some more or go home and get supplies.

Tav pulled himself out of the water and attempted to shake himself dry. “Well if we’re going to go hiking through a cave, I might want to get clothes that are less,” Tav rung out his shirt, “squishy.” He walked to the opposite side of the dock and picked up his shoes. “But first, I’m going to tie up my boat before I stop off by my house to change.”
Tav waved to his two companions and headed bear-footed to where his boat was floating. He made an adjustment to the current knot to make it tighter then crawled into the back of the boat to fetch the tarp from under the seat. He unfolded it, pulled it over the boat, and fastened it. “That oughta hold it,” he said clapping his hands together. The sky seemed to grumble at him spitefully. “This storm is really going to suck.”
“Are you sure that’s going to hold?” Jed said from over his shoulder.
“I hope so,” Tav moaned back. “I’ve worked too hard on that stupid thing and I think it’s almost done.”
“I think it’s been almost done for about three months now.” Rin snickered.
“Okay! That’s enough from the peanut gallery. I’m gonna go change. I’ll meet you down by the cave. Wait up for me.” He waved at his friends and headed back towards his house, squishing the whole way.
His house was in his sights when it started sprinkling. “Great…Why do I even bother.” He headed inside anyway, squishing all the way up the stairs.
“Do you want every one in this house to be sick!?!”
“No mom.”
“Do you know where my red blouse is, Tav?”
“It’s hanging from the ceiling fan where Jeremy left if, Jessie.”
“That little jerk! Argh!”
“Aaaahhhhh chooooo!!!”
“Cover your mouth next time, Danny…This is so gross.”
“Tav, have you seen Danny? Oh, there he is. Tav, you’re still soaking wet and you’re tacking water all through my house! It’s raining outside. You should stay-”
“That’s great, mom. I will.”
“Hey, Tav, do you know what’s wrong with Jessie?”
“She’s mad at you for stealing her clothes, Jeremy.”
“Tav-”
“Will you people just leave me alone?! All I wanted was my flashlight! Wait…Hey, Jeremy, have you seen my flashlight?”

"yeah i do need some things but you know i dont like to go into the house until late at night,but i sopose this is a bit importent so yeah i guess im stuck" jed said looking of in the distence.
"well ill come with i got nothing better to do till we reach the cave" rin said
"whatever if you wana come fine its your choice"
"ok im coming then"

rin and jed started on the walk to tevs house which was a little ways from where they where.
once they got there tev got his things and quikly came back out with his wood swords and and small pack full of items.
"you ready" rin said
"ready as ill ever be" jed responded
and they both walked off to the cave where they waited for jed

Srry!!!!! I been busy!!! Ok...Let's see...(I'm doing mine in first-person...It's easier for me to follow.)
XIAN
"HUH! What the--!!!! Ahhh!!!! I overslept!!!" I exclaimed. I scrambled getting my clothes on and fell as I was putting on my pants.
"Ohhhhhhhh...This can't be happening..." I groaned. I left home without a word and dashed over to the beach. And no one was there.
"*scoffs* Stupid boys...Always leaving me behind...They could have woken me up!" I exclaimed. I just stared out into the ocean, and looked at the clouds.
"Huh...It's gonna rain..." I whispered.

Jed started to follow, then remembered that his swords were still at home. His precious swords which he had spent countless hours on. Finding scrap metal, carving the wood. His Dad had even taught him how to melt the steel, when he was sane that was. As much as he hated it he would have to go home.

He started walking down the path along the beach in the direction of his house. As he was walking he went past the docks and saw Xian staring out at the waters horizen.

"Hey! Xian!" He waved and started walking to the docks.

EDIT: this is still open for anyone who wants to make a character.

"Ah! Jed, there you are!!! How dare you and the others leave me behind?!!??!?! You could have woken me up!!!!!" I went on a rant and kept screaming at him for not coming to wake me up...
"Are you done yet?" He asked me.
"Yeah, yeah..." I mumbled.
"So what are we gonna do today?" I asked.

He stared around thinking this and that while Xian ranted and raved about something. She was like this every time they did something without her. It's not his fault she slept in. Sheesh. He came back into the conversationto find her glaring at him with a bossy scowl. She looked like a little toddler who demanded the last cookie.

"Are you done yet?"

The look wiped from her face, obviously that wasn't the answer that she had hoped for "yeah, yeah...so what are we gonna do today?"

Jed smiled "well we're gonna go to that cave that we heard about."

"Oh yeah, where are the other two?"

"They already went, I had to go and grab my sword. But don't worry, i'll go with you. Incase you get scared."

That stubborn look appeared on her face again "I will not get scared, thank you very much!"

He reached out a hand and ruffled her hair, grinning broadly. "You crack me up kid." He bagan walking for home.

Xian began patting down and straitening her hair "Don't do that, i hate it when you do that....and i'm not a kid!"

"Yeah, yeah, whatever you say Xi."

I then got a brilliant idea while we were walking. I sneaked up behind him and pushed him onto the ground, then ran as fast as I could.
"Heehee!!! You can't catch me!!!! Remember that I'm the fastest of you all!!!!" I gloated.
I knew he couldn't catch up to me. I looked back over at him and noticed that when I pushed him, he was in a daze.
'Yes! Good job, Xi!!! Haha! That'll teach him to not call me a baby!!!' I thought.

Grrr, that's it. This meant war. He got up and started walking towards her. She kept a safe distance away though.

"Xiaaaan, c'mere and i promise not to do anything. C'mon, let's be friends."

She giggled "I'm not that stupid Jed."

"Ok then, I'll just bide my time. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but one day..you'll cop it....and you are a kid." He continued the walk to his house, Xian keeping her distance and walking backward as to keep an eye on him.

Jed and Tav waited at the inside of the cave to avoid any rain that might randomly just start falling from the sky. Tav was already wet enough after his morning swim and the short sprinkling shower. He was also getting a little restless from waiting and occupied his time by fiddling with his wooden swords and occasionally making goofy noises in cave just so he could hear the echo.
Rin gave him an amused look. “Are you enjoying yourself over there?”
Tav gave him a large cheeky grin and continued to fiddle with his swords and glance off into the distance to see if Jed or Xian would make an appearance any time soon.
“It’s about time” he heard Rin say after a few minutes.
Tav looked up and saw them walking in the distance a few safe feet apart from each other. He cocked a brow. “Hey lovebirds! About time you decided to drop by,” he shouted. Rin gave him a warning look which quickly changed into a smile. “Hurry up. I’m growing roots over here! Don’t let your hormones slow us down anymore this afternoon!”

"Hey! We are not lovers...He's like an annoying older brother to me..." I said whle trying to devise another plan on to get those boys...The demonic gears in my head were turning...
"So whats up? Are we going in, already? Wait...Do you think there's a monster in there? Uhhhhhh...It looks pretty dark in there..." I complained. I knew Jed was gonna start teasing me again...
"So...Does that mean your scared, Xi?" Jed asked me with a smirk on his face. I popped him in the head.
"I'm so not a little baby..." I mumbled.
"Yes, you are..." Jed said, with that stupid smirk on his face.

Jed chuckled a bit more at Xian. He sometimes felt sorry for her. "Anyway, what are we waiting for, are we going to check this thing out or not?"

Xian had one last look into the cave then sighed "Okay, we didn't come this all this way for nothing"

Jed laughed "haha, that's the spirit" Then he ruffled her hair.

The other two laughed and finally Tav spoke up "Ok then, let's go!"

Tav cocked a brow at his two friends’ antics. “Well…I’m as ready as I’ll ever be. And probably just as wet as I’ll ever be. Let’s get this show on the road.” He looked over at Xian and gestured her forward. “Ladies first,” he said while flashing a smile. He turned in after her a few step later, then reached in his sack for his flashlight. He clicked it on; it flickered a few times. “Come on you piece of junk.” He tapped it a couple of times on the side of his leg before a steady stream of light emitted from it. “That’s better. Now we’ll be able to see the things that want to eat Xian.”

"Ah...Hey! What is it today? Everyone's picking on me!!!!" I said, whining. Then, the demonic gears in my head were at work.
"You know I hate it when you guys do things like that..." I said.
"Awwwwww...Did we hurt little Xian's feelings?" Jed asked in a baby voice. I turned to look at them. I froze in fear of what was behind them. (Heehee...This is part of my plan...)
"M-m-m-monster!!!!!!!!" I screamed. The others started looking around, and screaming like little 7 year old girls. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! MOMMY!!!!!!!!! MONSTER!!!!!!!!" Tav screamed at the top of his lungs. I started laughing. The boys stopped and cocked their eyebrows. "Xian..." Jed said in an annoyed tone.
"Ha! You should have seen the look on your faces!!!" I laughed.

OOC: It's ok to play these kinds of jokes but just watch out not to overly god mode. Just take into account personalities and how they would most likely react in the situation. Just don't want fights to break out because people are making characters who aren't their own do thing that they wouldn't normally do.
Okay, this is one of the posts where i'll control what you guys see or hear. No doubt it'll be happening more as i'll have to tell you what items you recieve and what heartless and others characters you encounter.

You all hear the sound of something being locked echo from inside the cave.

"Ah! What was that? See! I told you there was a monster in here! (Why don't you guys ever believe me?)" I whimpered.

"Yeah yeah, the dreaded door monster. I wonder how he got his name scratched out of the books." Tav clicked on his flashlight and took a quick peek inside the cave, but he couldn't see far enough in to actually see anything.
"So...who wants to go first?" Tav pointed his flashlights at each group member. "Oh, don't everyone jump up at once. I'm sure that whatever is in there is perfectly harmless. Probably more scared of us than we are of it." He peeked his head inside. "Echooooo"
He waited for a moment for an answer. "Guess he doesn't want to communicate." He turned his head towards the cave again. "Don't make us come in there after you!...Here monster monster monster..."
"Darn...nothing. Hey, Xi, you're good with monsters. How 'bout you lead the way. And you know...me, Jed, and Rin are waaaay to scared to go in there without your great leadership and bravery," Tav said mockingly with a smile as he gestured Xian closer to the cave entrance.

"No...How 'bout you Jed? You're not afraid of the big bad monster...are you?" I asked.
"Ummmmm..."
"Well?" I asked.
He gave me a grim look.

Logically, he wasn't afraid of a lock but what if it was something else. He didn't care to find out. But, if he did this then it'd give him some status. "Ok then you little wimps" He let out a loud fake cough that sounded very familiar to Xian. "I'll go in first.". He pulled out his swords and stared at the cave "Ok, Tav, keep that light infront of me." Then he started the journey into the cave.

You hear a loud but short creak.

OOC: Ok guys, the cave will be one of the turning points in the RP so i'm going to apply stricter rules. No making up consequences. This means that if you fight something you can't say you kill it. If you try to lift something, you can't say you succefully lift it, A good Post would be "Jed Walked over to the large rock and crouched down, wrapping his arms round the base. He then tuged up with all his strength in order to move the obstacle." A bad post would be "Jed walked over to the rock and proceeded to lift it up.". This will apply with what you see in the cave, i'll let you know what your environment is when you get there but because my character's first in line it'll probably be easier this way.
What I would like is as much description in the task as possible. I want to know how you swing your sword, how much strength you put behind it, what your thinking while you do it. This way I can get an accurate reply.
The one thing i will allow is interaction between characters like you've been doing (Same rules apply, don't god-mode and make them do something they wouldn't usually do.).
Also, Starlight, if you're still reading this thread, don't feel to shy to RP without us. I'm going to give you a PM and we can sort out a plot for your character.

Tav heard the creak and cocked a brow. Again, it sounded like a door was inside the cave. "Door?" he said slowly, trying to figure out a logical connection. He continued along with the others deeper into the cave.

Ok Jed, look, there's nothing to worry about. It's completely empty. No monsters, nothing. Jed continued to walk, unnaware if the others were behind him or not.

Finally he came into an open clearing. Staring around, he took a deep breath and let it out. No monsters, it was all in his head. Wait, what's that. Jed stared, mystified at a large arched shape at the end of the cave. What the hell? it's a door! "Guy's come check this out!"

I played the first long ago, so i remember a bit

alright, im kinda bored and i saw this so i was thinkin maybe i can join in. essence, PM me if u approve and also PM me when u want me to come in on this.

"Door...Are you serious?" Tav said as he followed Jed into the clearing. "Why is there a door here. It makes no sense. Did I miss something." Tav looked around at his group members, each with an equally mystified look.
He took a few steps closer until he was within arm's reach of the door, held out his hand, made a fist, and rapped twice on the door before quickly stepping back as if expecting it to open.

"Door? That must have been that locking noise we heard..." I said as I slowy walked into the empty room. I walked up to the door. "No keylock, doorknob...Just a nice decor..." I trailed off as I looked at the rest of the room. "Hey...This would make a pretty nice hideout, don't you think so?" I asked everyone.

The door thuds as tav raps on it. While Xian speaks a light began to form around the edge of the door. It grows brighter and brighter and suddenly flashes with a force. Momentarily bursting the door open and flooding the cave with light. The light hangs in the cave for a while longer, then a large force begins to pull the 4 into the door. They hang on but the force is sucking up almost everything and seems to be focusing on Tav especially. Eventually there grip is ripped away and the four are sucked into the door, which closes shortly after.

Tav, Xian and Ringoku awake in complete darkness, but they seem to be standing on a platform of some sort.

Jed is on a seperate platform.

A voice calls out from the darkness to the three "Awake, a path is ready to be made."

OOC: Ok, same rules apply. If you try to converse with the mysterious voice, wait for it to reply. If you Want to do something, don't finish the action, just start it. Most likely, i'll put in your first battle so take what i said before into account (description is the key: How hard you swing your sword, what direction you swing in ect.). I'll give you more help by posting my characters battle first.

Because we've been split, when i say group, i'll be referring to your group. I'll just rp the voice in my own characters post. The split between characters will be explained soon.

Tav groggily sits up and rubs his eyes to finally see that he can see nothing. He hears the voice in the darkness telling him to wake and retorts angrilly, "I'm up already!"
Tav then feels the ground beneath him. "At least we landed on solid ground. Are you guys ok? ...are you guys even here?" Tav attemps to feel his way through the darkness until his hand makes contact with an arm. He hears a quiet "yeah" and a "We're alright" from two voices to his immediate right, which he assumes are Xian and Rin.
"Ok then. That's good. Where are we?" Tav shakilly gets to his feet and tries to take in the lack of surroundings. Finding that it is a futile attempt, Tav decides to call out to the voice. "Hello out there!"

Myrmidon: Because you're character is older than the current groups i'm going to put him with Heero's character. I'll PM you the details sometime today.

you hear nothing

"Fine, don't talk to me," Tav muttered angrilly. In his irritation he decided to look around a bit more for something, anything, but found nothing but darkness. "That was productive."
Since Tav thought he had nothing better to do, he tried to communicate with the voice again. "Anybody out there? Anybody know where we are? ...Anybody know how to get to where we were?"

OOC: watch it, if you explore, i'll tell you what you find. You can get away with that one but just remember. Think of it like dungeons and dragons.

The ground beneath you begins to brighten and you realize that you're on a circular platform. Their are three pedestals in front of you, each seems to radiate so brightly, you try to view what's on them but your eyes can't udjust."

"Do not be afraid, the light will guide your path." The voice echoed in the darkness, far away but somehow near "You will know which light is your own, do not lose sight of it."

"Ow..." Tav said in response to his eyes. "That's bright." Then he heard the voice in the distance and felt slightly irritated. " '...the light will guide your path' ...? I hope this light is kinda like a seeing eye dog, cause I don't think I can see anything."
Tav rubbed at his eyes and tried once again to view the vibrant pedestals.

I started to shiver uncontrollably, because I was so scared...
"Tav...Where's Jed?? We gotta find Jed!" I yelled as went to touch Tav's shoulder.

OK, because Ringoku isn't active i'm going to reunite Jed with the two and then we'll continue on from there. Umm, just pretend that you never met that character I suppose.

You stare at the light but eventually the voice comes back "The most joyous secrets, can come from that which you don't see"

Jed

Jed had woken up a while ago but had just lied there, he couldn't see up and he couldn't to his sides so he figured he was either dead or dreaming. He heard the voice like the rest of them and he heard Xians panicked calls out to him. He suposed he wasn't alone "i'm right here" He sat up and looked around, he still couldn't see well but there were three really bright lights that gave him a bit of vision. There he saw Tav and Xian.

He started to walk over to them and while he did that the voice echoed around again

"The most joyous secrets, can come from that which you don't see"

This angered Jed, "what the hell does that mean!?" Then he reached for his sword only to find both sheaths were empty. Not only that but but his sheaths had dissapeared as well.

"Hey, have you guys lost your weapons as well?"

You both check to no avail. Your weapons and their sheaths have gone.

OOC: ok, now will be a good time for me to explain the item update. It basically speaks for itself. After any event where you could buy, sell, lose or gain items (shopping, a fight ect.) "Hee..." I smiled brightly, "You lazy bum!"

"I really wish I had my weapons right about now."

Jed stared around after Xian had let go "hmm, what did it say again? 'the most joyous secrets can come from stuff you don't see' or something like that." Then he stared around and his gaze fell on the pedestals once again. That light was starting to hurt his eyes. Then an idea struck him.

"Tav, can you see what's in there?"

Tav stared at him confused for a minute then dawning flashed on his face and he smiled. "You think he wants us to touch that light?"

"I'd bet that's it."

Xian looked a little worried. "Are you sure we can trust an annonymous voice?"

Jed took another glance at their surroundings then back at the pedestals "Well it's better than sitting around here" Then he began to walk forward.

Tav also started forward towards the light, completely ignoring any rational thought that told him what he was doing may be dangerous. He was just happy to be rid of the creepy disembodied voice, if only for a second or two.

"Ah...Hey, wait for me! Don't leave me!!!" I yelled as I ran to Tav and Jed.

(OOC: I hate to see things die before their time, especially when they are just getting interesting. So, I got permission from EE, and I'm making a character. Given the current situation, I'll wait until after you guys leave and get your weapons back before I join in.)

Name: Skyblade
Sex: Male
Age: Unknown, but even in this early point in KH history, he is old.
Class: Arch Mage
Appearance: Wears a dark, hooded cloak, similar to the ones worn by the Organization (though I know there is no Organization as yet) except for its color, which is a dark blue rather than black. His face (only visible when he lowers his hood) is rather youthful, making him appear to be in his early twenties. Only his eyes reveal his true age. Dark hair, blue eyes.
Personality: Quiet, thoughtful, and mysterious. Has an odd sense of humor.
Weapon: Longsword (he wields two handed swords, but his physical attacks are not a strong as a straight swordfighter's. The majority of his attacks are either straight spells, or combine magic and swordplay.)
Magic: (Discussing with EE at the moment)
Drive: Currently has Ultima Strike (a powerful, non-elemental attack that affects a small group of enemies), and Strike Raid (same as KH. Uses magic to make his sword perform a multi-hit, long range attack).
Background: Unlike the majority of the group, Skyblade has no direct connection to the Keyblade Master. He does, however, have a connection to either a former Keyblade Master or the Keyblade itself, though the exact nature of that connection has yet to be determined. He has fought the Heartless for a long time, travelling from world to world, stopping only when the worlds were seperated and the Heartless drew back. Now, with the worlds connected once again, he has started to go forth again.

(OOC: As I said, I'll wait until you guys escape from the mean scary voice to join up. I'll find something to do until then.)

I suddenly remembered I am the villian around here, so what's the scenario or is there one for me yet?

Skyblade: Your character is approved but the drive will still have to level up like everyone elses. You're strike raid will only have one throw to start and as you get stronger it will go further away and you will be able to continuously throw it like in KH.

Christmas: I suggest making your character known as the villain once we get to traverse town.

Everyone: School has just started up so i'm not going to be on the forums as often but i'll try and keep posting.

It finally settled in that the three were no where near home and they might not be able to get home again. As far as he could tell, they were trapped in a void. These thoughts were extremely uncomfortable, but Tav continued anyway.
