[RP] Messiah of Conrasti

I've really enjoyed BtV's RP and decided to make one of my own, so please play and enjoy.

The title may have some effect on this and it may not... it depends on what happens.

First to describe how this RP will be played. This will be set in a world of my creation, the storyline will follow I plan I’ll create and each player will have control of themself and no one else. You do however have the power to significantly change what happens. The story begins in different places for different people but here is the basic world organization as of the beginning:

The very poweful empire of Coniro has been taking over the continent, with an agenda of war and destruction. It will frequently mess with enemy state politics through assasinations, destruction of food sources and general political manuevers. On the Howsor continent (where this is all based... for the moment) there were for a long time 3 kingdoms in reasonable balance with many towns in between, under the protection of or on good terms with one of the nations. The nations were Coniro, Sailov and Crucicles. Historically Coniro was the most ambitious but was ineffective because as soon as it attacked Sailov it would take a huge amount of damage through Sailov’s defense and Crucicles attack from the other side (Crucicles never otherwise communicates with outer lands. Crucicles was by far the strongest of the states as it trained much more powerful warriors and had much more powerful magic, as well as having a naturally defensible position and it still would have been untouchable if it were not for it’s rift between the leaders of two of it’s guilds. Sailov had always been weaker than Coniro, but now after the rift in Crucicles it was possible for Coniro to attack it. Also a new leader had arisen, but unlike most their were no rumors in his past unlike most leaders, that had about 10,000 trailing them. However his second command was commonly known to have slaughtered (secretly of course) everyone above him in rank and used the most vicious methods of taking over and then destroying every town he set his eyes on. of course there was also no proof he had actually done of these things and it was also common knowledge that a lot of these rumors were spread by him.

Characters that have importance so far:

General Tus Maohr:
The leader of Coniro, unlike most leaders there is very little rumor about him and very little info either, however he has had a string of victories across the borderline between Sailov and Coniro. Perhaps the reason there is little info about him is his second in command Killoris Barious. Premise tells this. Age 29

Killor Barious:
Known as “However his second command was commonly known to have slaughtered (secretly of course) everyone above him in rank and used the most vicious methods of taking over and then destroying every town he set his eyes on. of course there was also no proof he had actually done of these things and it was also common knowledge that a lot of these rumors were spread by him.” The above says it all. Premise tells this. Age 34
Later info: His true job is drawing attention away from Tus’s exploits.

Captain Ahom Kum:
A captain in the Corino army, very loyal to the money he recieves. Age 31

Foryz Crucicles
Very little info given, you know there is a leader of Crucicles (or two), he is the leader of Crucicles. He has had and does have the upper edge and is the leader of the guild of sorcery in Crucicles. No info is given so far. Age 45

Hyruto Menori
The leader opposed to Foryz, he’s far more interested in opening trade with others and stopping the elite class system within Crucicles. No info is given so far. Age 20

Vulos Sailov
Leader of Sailov. No info given so far. Age 53

There are a few different starting points for play in this game.

The first is Raychot, a small town in northern Sailov, at the border of Corino. Strategically it has reasonable value due to a famously magical and of course too dangerous to enter tomb built under it. It is in a plain area and has good access to water. It uses farms for food, and farming is a major occupation as is hunting. This may sound like a dull place but will become a point of action. It’ll take a little while before it gets important though.

The second choice is within the Coniro military, under captain Ahom Kum. This force is on the Sailov and Coniro border. This choice will start with brief training and then will have your character placed in the war quickly.

The third choice is in the bustling, violent, gang led city uncontrolled by Sailov or Coniro on the western edge of the border. People staring here will be part of a gang, that acts as a guerilla militia disrupting war outside the city they live in, Swipoe. Within the city there is a long lasting fight for power, with little government control and the police is just another gang. For the moment this area’s characters will be mostly internal but soon Sailov and Coniro will gain interest in it, and possibly Crucicles as well.

I think for the moment this is enough for choices of places to start. Onto the character sign up sheet. By the way a person may be able to sign up for multiple characters but not yet. One note, you should pick something that fits your area.

Race: (There aren’t many races to choose from, humans are balanced and recommended, Elves are stronger magically and weaker physically as well as having some difficulties with racism, and dwarves are stronger physically and weaker magically.)
Age: (Dwarves reach the equivalent of 20 at about 50 and elves at about 240.)
Class: (Very important, your choices are: Warrior, Monk, Black Mage, White Mage, Fencer, Soul Sword, Summoner, BloodMage, Berserker, Battleaxer, Archer, Ranger, Spearman, Thief, Ninja, Samurai, Red Mage, Assasin, I will give you your abilities after your character is made.)
Equipment: (Whatever you want that fits your class)
Physical Description: (Build, eyes, hair, clothes, whatever else)
Description: (I’m not putting emphasis on past so that’s not important. However what should be put here is how your character thinks, what their social position is- and don’t make them perfect in every way, what they wish their social position was, social qualities, and social failings, things like this.)
Skills: (Such as quick hands, running fast, evasion, calm, this type of thing, which isn’t huge but has value)
Limit Break: (Say what type of thing you want and I will bring it to a reasonable level of strength.)

One last thing you’ll have to write, religion. These definitions are of course hugely simplified but I think will add interest to this RP, mention whether you are heavily committed to your religion or take it lightly. Yes, these religions are based in real ones, and I’m not sure of there value within this RP.

Atheist: Doesn’t believe in any religion or any god. Atheist’s in this world are common in Crucicles, but very rare in Sailov and almost outlawed in Coniro. Can believe in summonings.
Agnostic: Believes in a god but is not sure what it is. Common everywhere though in some places is careful to also play homage to the presiding religion.

Crucine: The only religion in Crucicles though it is still rare. The religion has not spread and is based around self enlightenment. It believes in only a spirit within you that you work to fulfill. No one may start with this but if they go to Crucicles they may convert.

Swiporse: A religion that has spread somewhat into Sailov and is based and very important in Swipoe. Many powerful churches control gangs and a lot of the political power. The belief is based around yourself but very differently. The power you gain gives your soul more and more power making you a greater human version of your god, Asomito.

Tiuli: A popular religion in Sailov, the main god is the creator, Mitra. This is a pagan religion that has sacrifices but not human or animal ones, it builds huge bonfires. It used to be much more bloody but that ended about 400 years ago and the bonfires are still called sacrifices. The religion is based in ethical polytheism, helping others and being generous, though the scripture is frequently manipulated by politicians. This is seen in Sailov only.

Conrasti: The Coniro religion, it is basically forced on the people but not to a huge extent. It tells of Coniro as the chosen people and gives them a somewhat democratic doctrine. It is intertwined with politics but is used in so many different ways it’s hard to describe. It is monotheistic but allow minor gods of cities to exist as long as it is considered a part Conrasti. This religion means whatever the individual wants as the scripture is vague.

Physical Description: Although frail-looking, Cadreon is relatively strong and can move with blinding speed. He is light-skinned and has blue eyes and greying hair. He is 6'3" when fully upright and looks very intimidating, but generally hunches as to appear frail and is 5'6".

Description: Cadreon is a tactician who thinks in terms of what will accomplish his purposes with as little collateral damage as possible. He then opts to choose what requires least effort. This manner of though would allow him to become a great commander in the military, but he has sworn not to kill as a pact with Asomito. He rarely shows emotion, and is slow to anger, but even slower to forgive or gorget. As such, he makes a faithful friend or an unwavering foe, depending on how you treat him. He is a pilgrim who is traveling the lands in order to gain more knowledge and power to become a better Swiporse. He is content with this and rarely travels in groups, as he tends to work better alone and his bokuto give him all the protection he needs. He takes part in a gang in Swipoe for the time being to boost his chances of escaping unscathed. He is generally reclusive and makes a point not to become close to anyone. This aspect makes others uneasy around him, and it doesn't help that he is cool and calculating at all times.

Skills: Quick, Good Tactics, Emotionless, Fearless, Reflexes

Limit Break: Dark Scars- Cadreon unleashes a blazing-fast series of strikes wich launch the opponent into the air, then leaps up, performs a cross chop with the bokuto, and slams the opponent back into the ground at a high velocity.

Special Note: All of Cadreon's attacks are incapacitating. Damage should be done normally, but instead of dying when they take too much, they are incapacitated e.g. knocked out, too many broken bones, exhausted, etc.

I'm not good with weapons so if you could tell me a little more about his weapons that would be helpful, or post pics.
The way I've seen Asimoto he would be pro kiling, however another way of seeing it could be not killing as a show of power which is fine. You will probably run into people with different takes on it.
Good description for your character.
The limit break seems fine, it's strong but relies on multiple hits so it is possible that it can be got out of.
He doesn't have specific spells but he can use some long range earth eruptions, which can start combos.

The character is approved once you give pictures or descriptions for the weapons.

Cadreon is part of a gang in the South (more Sailov pro) of Swipoe called Krimoy. They're centered in a large nondescript building next to a Swiporse church. The gang has about sixty members, and is led by the priest of their church, not officially but everyone in it knows where the power is. Most of the group is serious about their religion, and believes they have the right take on it. Lately rumors of a guerilla mission outside the city have been circling and the gang hasn't been in much action recently. I'm not going to start actually having anything happening until more people sign up so I'm just describing the world Cadreon lives in. If you want him to wander around the city or anything he can but for the moment nothing's going to happen.

Just a special make of wooden sword- thick and sturdy, curved and rounded. Usually made of oak or other hard woods. Very hard to break, I hit mine as hard as I could against concrete and it didn't break.

note-(what i mean by the awerness this is that is the enimy already relises that nuku is behind him/her then the attack will possably fail compleatly or just do half damage,which means it will only work on an eny who has eather never faut me before or has simply forgot my limit break.)

Alright good character, I'd like a little more info on the build, but it's unnecassary if you're lazy. Kimory and his dog are part of a gang in Northeast Swipoe. The gang was once the presiding gang in the area but has been steadily falling apart, it's gone in one year from 400 to 120 members. The leadership was based in a nearby church but during recent hardships the leadership has moved to predominant members of the gang itself. The gang at this point doesn't put much emphasis in religion because of the failings of their priesthood. The gang's called Yasta. It is mostly based within the city and has little connection with the outside war, though it does favor Coniro.

If new characters join I'd love it if they picked one of the other two starting places... but it's okay if they just pick Swipoe.

Cadreon
One of the Krimoy members approaches Cadreon in the bunkroom. His name is Interofin and he is known as being the person in the group to brong messages around. He spoke in his slightly high pitched voice "Boss wants to see your division in the planning room" he then walked off to talk to another person in his division.

Kimory
As you hang out in the somewhat open plaza that your gang infests, one of the rebel leaders (he's been trying to draw power away from the momentary commander of the force who hasn't been very successful) asks you to walk with him. You know exactly what type of discussion this would be about, he wants to know what support he has among the people and might want a mission attempt. He raises his eyebrows expectantly as he finishes asking "we have important... stuff to discuss, coming?"

Cadreon

Cadreon walks to the planning room.

his arms although are not muscular are still capable of lifting alot of wait.he also has a little bit of a pot belly but hes not over wait (he is 200 pounds).he also has very strong legs they arnt exacty muscular but he can still run very fast with them.

Cadreon
The room is circular with two doors, one at either end. There is a rectangular table that reaches from one end of the room to the other. There are 3 other men from your division leaning back in their chairs. The right hand man of the leading priest sits at the head of the table, his name is Slateo. As you walk in he speaks in a slightly bored voice, like he's had to say this a few times before. "We're waiting for everyone to arrive before the briefing begins." A few minutes later he's said this four more times and the full division of eight is there. Slateo looks over the group before knocking on the door behind him. Two men walk in. They're well known as minor priests in the church. They frequently plan missions for the gang. The debriefing begins with the priest known as Kymin "We've heard about a major attack on Raychot in a weeks time. It's in Sailov territory but at the border and we'd like to use this as a chance to harass the troops. We've decided the best way to damage the Coniro troops is spells. There's a shipment coming through the city tomorrow with a set of magic seals in it."

At this point he was interrupted by the other priest, Kymor "I'm sure you know this but there are two type of magical seals, some teach the magic to the user and the other type the one in this shipment are seals that when broken unleash their power in the direction it's pointed. Without having many mages in our gang we've decided this is the best method of attacking the Coniro army."

Kymin continued the debriefing "yes, this shipment shouldn't be guarded heavily. It is in a large truck that will pass through a decent size street which is usually empty. We don't want this attempt to be specifically traceable to our objective in stealing this, so we'd like if it looked like an unorganized attack. We want some of you to be placed near where it will enter, but not too many people so it doesn't look organized. Later on the road say four of you will be waiting ready to step in if the first attack fails."

Slateo takes over the discussion again "You four" he said pointing to Cadreon and three others "will lead the first attack, after this meeting you will discuss tactics. You should know that within your group there is a monk (earth based), an archer (ice based) and two warriors. You are not a heavy magical team but you should think about using the power you have. I expect two small vehicles to go with it with two troups in each. While we do not want this to happen, the mission can be aborted if it has to be. You four are dismissed but I suggest planning." The other three in Cadreon's group walk out and sit together at one of the large tables in the dining hall.

Your description's good, I like having characters that aren't in perfect shape.
The man leads you down an empty alley (not dangerous as there are two busy streets next to it making a lot of noise) and begins to speak "first of all I'd be interested in knowing your opinion on the a... current operation leading the great Yasta."

He was asking whether you supported the leadership at the moment of Yasta. Basically choosing that you support it will cause you to not get a job from this guy but you will get one after, or if you choose to not support the leadership of Yasta you'll get a different mission now. Your choice.

Character seems good, and I'm glad to see someone not in Swipoe.

Christmas
Raychot is a small town surrounded by plains and next to a lake. It supports hunting and farming mostly but does put effort into training promising fighters. It is built on a famous tomb that is like most tombs in stories like this too dangerous to enter (and of course it will be entered... soon). So far it has been peaceful but they've heard reports of violence. Recently rumors have been flying that they would be attacked next but the Coniro military has been reshaping and it looks like for the moment an attack is unlikely. A large town meeting was called the day before. They decided that in light of the threat even if it wasn't immediate they'd have to do what they could. A message had been sent to Aiutoris (the capital) for help with the defense but even if they had a week it seemed unlikely it would come in time. Some walls were being put up, but those also didn't seem like they'd be much help. Another idea was to try to use the power of the mystical tomb below and they had chosen a few warriors to see what they could find down there. Christmas was one of the few chosen in this attempt, and is probably the most skillful among them. Due to her lack of adherence to there religion she was not chosen to lead this expedition but the highly pious Frecen (a white mage) was chosen for that. The other two members were Gorni, a 40 year old archer and Ivenumo, an antisocial 18 year old who wields a battleax. Looking at the party it was easy go see it wasn it chosen based on friendship. They had gone down a ladder from the town hall and come across a large locked door out there to defend the tomb. The key to it had been given to Frecen who unlocked it. They found themselves in a dark cavern with three paths. Ivenumo spoke with disinterest in his voice "let's split up." Gorni responded as the careful one "Are you sure it's safe?" Those two began to argue and soon Frecen joined in. (I think this is as good a time as any to give control of the character, do what you want with the situation, anything from walking off to joining the argument or whatever you want)

It's fine if you're not used to RPs, I'm not either and I explained that badly.

The man responded "yes we've all seen the leadership fall apart. I wonder if you'd be interested in a job, we're trying to bring power back to our gang and we've seen an oppurtunity." He looked expectantly at Kimory waiting for a resonse.

Edit: Oh, it would be good if the next person who joined could join the Coniro army, but you don't have to.

I squatted down and said "If we split out, how are we going to maintain contact with one and other? And if we dun, which way should we go?"

Kimory
The man responds looking carefully around "The mission is of serious importance, there is a small gang that somehow got their hands on a valuable artifact. They've not been destroyed because of the danger within this artifact. When a gang attempted to take it they unleashed it's power and destroyed the attackers, at least that's what everyone thought. We had a witness and we've been analyzing the spell that was cast, it turns out that the artifact was not used giving us rason to believe they don't know how to use it. If we attacked an took it I think we'd be safe. They would still pretend they had it as that is the only thing protecting them from attack, and no one would think we had taken it. Interested?"

Christmas
Frecen looked at her and responded annoyed at not having what he wanted followed (he thought that he should be listened to, he hadn't actually stated an opinion, he was just contradictory in his want to have power) "We have no way of maintaining contact."

He was immediately interrupted by Ivenumo "We could all return in say 2 hours, that way we explore much faster."

But by this time Gorni was talking as well "But it's too dangerous to go alone."

Frecen maintaining his stance of disagreeing with whoever talked last spoke "Well you could go with someone if you wanted, if you think you need help I guess I could go with you." His talk made a watcher unsure whether he was just being arrogant or if he was just trying to travel with someone. "Whatever happens we all need lanterns" he said while passing small lanterns around from a sack he carried and giving each enough matches to be able to last a long time.

"Why not we split into two teams since it is too dangerous to go alone as said by Uncle Robin Hood." I walked towards Gorni and said " I will go with Uncle Robin Hood here, while Frecen and Ivenumo will form one team.

"This way, we will have a melee fighter and other person to support the fighter either by magic or ranged weapon in each team." I said.

"As for the path we take, we will leave one out while the other two will be covered by each of the team. Each team is to report back here two hours later as suggested by Ivenumo no matter what." I added.

"Should either team discover anything in the path they take, the other team will join up with them after we gather here 2 hours later and uncover the mystery together just for safety purposes. If neither team discover anything in the path they take, then we will merge and take the last unexplored path. How about it?" I asked

kimory thinks this over for a second and then looks up to the man and says"yes....yes i will take this mission you dont worry about that,just i want to know is this just going to be me going or am i going with a team."

Aldracan

Aldracan tells the archer to set up at a building and pick off the drivers so we have a non-moving target. The warriors will take out any supporting soldiers as the archer continues to fire at the targets. Cadreon is going to take as much as possible as this occurs and then the others are to come in once all enemies are dealt with.

As she speaks Frecen stares angrily occasionally mumbling but never loud enough to interrupt. When she's done Ivenumo talks in disgust "I'm supposed to go with him." Then he spoke more resigned "...I guess..." he said before walking down the tunnel on the left. Frecen looked for a second like he was going to argue and try to regain authority but he had to run to catch up with Ivenumo. Gorni spoke up "That's a team that won't work too well. Which path shall we take?" But before Christmas responded a flame burst in the path to the right. It slowly formed into a wavering half there human, flickering in flame as it formed.

Kimory
"Thank you for accepting. This mission is secret so you can't know everything that's happening. Meet a man and the other people in your division in Alley 12 off the plaza tonight, do what you want until then. But yes, you will be working with others." He walks off to go to speak to others.
(you can decide to have your character wander in the city or talk to people or you can choose to wait and go into the alley)

Cadreon
The two warriors seem happy with your plan, having worked with you before. The archer seems skeptical however and argues "It seems like you're putting a lot of emphasis on my shots, if it's a closed carriage I may not be able to break in with my damage. If we could screw with the road as they pass that might allow for an easier time" he said seemingly like he was saying whatever came to mind, that doesn't mean the idea is bad though. The warriors nodded at the suggestion before looking back to see what Cadreon's opinion was.

He wore grey for that was the hardest thing to see as he crossed the street in the shadow, he walked calmly not wanting to be considered any different from other passerbys yet he would prefer to not be noticed at all. He entered a side door in a building he passed and locked the door behind him.He spoke in a quick voice "make sure to take that facility." The man across from him seemed intimidated by his presence and spoke a little shakily "of course, we have 35 men, opposed to the leadership of our gang, they will support Coniro." The man in gray spoke again "We both know that's just the start of this city's fall. It wields four of these great elemental artifacts and we need this take to have value throughout the city." The man he spoke to walked out shaking after the talk and walked a little way, he saw a street sign labeled 'Alley 12' and waited for night fall.

CHRISTMAS

"Hey Uncle Robin Hood, Why dun you go signal them before they go far about our flame thingy here." I suggested.

"Consult our Holy user of White Magic whether there is a need for them to come back here to check it out while I take a look at this flame thingy." I added.

Gorni stood surprised for a second before rushing off. The being grew slightly solider and raised an arm carelessly, it sent a small beam of flame into a wall. It turned towards her and leaned slightly forward.

CHRISTMAS

"Ok now, calm down. You speak english?" I said as I carefully place my hand to my sword preparing myself if things get ugly.

"ME CAME IN PEACE. You understand me? ME FRIEND." I said while making various gestures.

kimory watched tentitivly as the man walked away and when he was no longer in sight kimory set off to the bar to get a drink before he headed to meet with his team for the mission.

Christmas
The wraith like being seems to attempt to respond but can only utter a grunting noise. It attempts to copy the gestures but the flame it shoots seems to cause it to shudder back, afraid. From behind it a light draws closer, another of the same form of being. The first turns towards it and takes a step backward tripping over itself. It walks over to it and they seem to meld. The newly formed creature stares at Christmas before firing a quick beam of fire. The line of fire is small though and misses by a few feet.

When you arrive at Alley 12 you find fourteen men waiting. The man who told you to meet up there speaks as he sees you arrive "Everyone, this is an important mission against a defended base, we will use grapling hooks to reach the roof of the building. Groups of five will then drop down to a differents sides of the building. Each group has a different purpose." He stops and begins putting people into groups. Kimory is place in squad B. "Squad A will move quickly down the building on the south side and will reach the bottom where they will break the defense there so that more troops may enter the building. You will then keep control over the first floor and especially the entrance. Squad B will go down to the second floor with me where we will sweep out the guards and wait to attack the center where our target is until more troops arrive. Squad C's job is to take the top floor so that if squad A fails we can bring more troops in from the roof, though this method may be risky which is why we'd prefer to take the entrance. If squad B fails more troops will come and make up for the loss. If squad C fails we still get in troops through the entrance. It is very important though that there is no failure but I do have backup plans." He now picks squad leaders, white mages that probably won't be in the line of danger. "You three will be squad leaders, lead your squad to success. I will pick a squad to travel with once we've reached the top of the building and will lead that squad. We will be going up the backside as there are no windows. We will break in on the other three sides. The most important thing is following orders, loyalty leads to success, but you may improvise within the instructions given. Any questions? If none move out and head to the central section of this town on Breld st. there is an alley that leads behind the building, go within your squad for safety. It should take about an hour to reach there and we will have a squad enter the alley every twenty minutes to avoid notice. Squad A in an hour should be behind this building, B in an hour twenty minutes and C in an hour forty." A few people asked questions but he had already answered most, and some solutions would have to be decided on the spot and couldn't be prepared for.

Seeing the creature means business. I drew my sword and get to an offensive stance.

Noticing it like shooting fire beam whenever it feels like it, I reckon I must use something to block it.

I split my sword into two and gathered all my strength and toss it at the monster while I take the remaining sword and dash forward maintaining a safe distance behind the flying sword hoping that it will block one of the monster fire attack while I take the chance to attack it.

When they reach the back of the building the group has to wait for twenty minutes for the last group to come. Once everyone's together again they get up the back of the building without trouble. They reached the top and divided into their squads, the leader went with Squad A. Squad B hung down on the left side of the building, at the window they wanted to break through the white mage silenced the area and they broke through without noise. They found themselves in a room with a desk and some accounting papers. As they looked around a little to get their bearing a man walked in. Seeing the people he immediately brought up a bow and began notching an arrow.
(I have a question Empu-Dragon, did you carry your dog up with you or leave it? And it'd be helpful if you'd put the characters name in a seperate line above your posts, just makes it a little easier for me.)

The monster reacts slowly, missing a few more times as it the flame doesn't come straight out of it's hand. The blade strikes it and falls through. It grunts in pain and hunches over as Christmas comes in. At this point the other three come to see her fighting, Frecen begins to chant and Gorni notches an arrow in his bow, but can't quite get good aim on the hunched mostly blocked by walls or Christmas, target.

The archer seems to look for some other way to call the plan wrong but can't think of anything and agrees with it. The group has a few hours before they're supposed to be there.

I merged my sword again and uses all my strength to strike at the monster hoping that at least the impact will push it to an more open area giving advantage to the others as well as me.

at the sight of this man kimory imetedly drew one of his swords and waited to see if the man was going to shoot him or one of the others,if he shot him he could esaly dawuge the arrow and if he shot someone else he would be able to send numu to push the person out of the way before it struck.

The creature stumbles into the open where it is shot by Gorni which is burned by the flame, he then casts an ice spell which has far more effect. It seems to quiver for a few seconds before it slowly loses it's existence. Frecen then makes a suggestion "Maybe we should all go down this path, perhaps we'll find something, I didn't see anything down the other so maybe our objective is down this one." Ivenumo responded, not to what he said but how he said it "do you have to repeat yourself when you speak?" Gorni quickly steps between them "sounds like a good idea, what do you think" he says to Christmas.
(By the way as a soul sword Christmas has the ability to enchant her sword with a little power from any of the four elements+light or dark and can if she concentrates bring a dagger into existence if she ever needs it, it will fade away if she stops thinking about it, more use of this will cause better mastery.)

The man aims the bow wildly as he screams. The arrow goes into the ceiling a few feet above their heads. One of the people in Kimory's group steps forward and slashes up with his sword killing the man. The commanding white mage speaks "you two he says pointing at Kimory and the other swordsman, go out to the hallway and to the left, us three will go to the right." The group of three quickly file out.
(your assuming a little too much skill at the moment, you might be able to dodge and you might not, being ready to is a good idea but it won't necassarily happen which you implied in your post. It seems like you realized this though so that's good.)

He watches as the groups enter the building before floating himself onto the top of the building. He goes to a side of the building and enters on the third floor.

As for the concentration part, so now I am only limited to dagger but will I gain other weapons as well when my mastery increase?

Yeah, that's the type of a ability you have, I wasn't going to name them but those names work. The concentration thing improves after being used a bunch but it won't happen immediately. You may be able to dual wield or use them as throwing items, gain larger weapons or make them disappear when the opponent would be blocking them and bring it back for the kill. Of course none of this will happen anywhere near immediately.

In response to you first Frecen looks angry, but doesn't respond, maybe he's given up on leading the group. Then Ivenumo gets annoyed and spits. Gorni doesn't seem to mind the title given him (for the sake of calling him that Robin Hood is a story in this world). There seems to be no actual disagreement with the plan though. Ivenumo walks off down the path which the creature came from carrying his lantern with his battleax raised. The two others begin to follow and I assume Christmas goes ahead to. After going a few hundred yards the air ten yards ahead seems to flicker and four more of the flame creatures find their way into reality.

(BTW sorry if I gave you a less interesting starting scenario, it's cause Raychot's not in the war yet and I needed to find something for a first mission so this happened, tried to make the characters interesting though)

"From what I observe from what happen just now, these dudes are pretty stupid and slow." I looked at Ivenumo.

"On the contrary, even you give me that look, I still love you." I concentrated and a dagger appeared. I drew my sword and split it into two with one hand holding the dagger the other holding the first sword.
The second one was put on the floor.

"I will throw the dagger and sword each at different directions so as to distract them. Given their slow reaction, Robin Hood will shoot his arrows to take down as many as he can." I walked towards Frecen.

"Oh ya, if Mr Leader had any kick a$$ spells to contribute, feel free to."
I then went and patted Ivenumo's back. "Then me and anti social will charge forward and gang bang those that survive while you dudes continue to support in anyway you can. How about it?" I smiled at Ivenumio making the cutest expression I have.

Ivenumo recoils as you come over to him, and pushes your hand off when you pat him before spitting again.
The attack begins the dagger wavers in and out of reality as it goes farther away from her, where it lands one of the creatures walks over and starts attempting to burn it, before it disappears, he's easily shot by an ice arrow shot by Gorni. Swords aren't to great aerodynamically and the sword falls quick without catching much attention. Christmas and Ivenumo charge forward taking on one each as the third begins attacking Frecen and Gorni.

Killoris Barious takes Cenfi
The town of Cenfi was recently taken in the massive trail of ruins left by Killor on the border. Our reporter managed to get into the village after the attack and found utter destruction as it is after every one of their slaughters. They've come down the central part of the border leaving towns on each side surviving, so far. Towns such as Raychot, Entoum, Swipoe and Torguii have been left untouched by Killor. Sailov has recently taken some action at this threat by sending convoys out to some of ths still standing towns offering to take people to the safety found in the inner sanctum of the Sailov capital area. Our reporter managed to get an interview with Killor (which you'll find on pages 17-21), which gave us some insight into his next target's it seems he is also interested in taking Raychot and Torguii in the East. While he was probably lying we urge the government to spare some troops to these communities. Swipoe with it's gang control has never been taken by an outsider and it seems likely that it will be left alone in the war. Recent guerrilla warfare near it has caused it to be a possibility though. The question in everyone's mind though is what is Vulos Sailov doing to drive the invaders out. We've heard rumors that the paladins have been sent out but we have no actual proof of any response. What we need in this situation is someone to stand up and combat this attack. The capital is far enough away and most towns have their own militia. We need a city anywhere to stand up and hold them off with a leader who will oppose these enemies. We need this city to be supported by others near it, and become the stone on which the Coniro waves cannot pass.

I enchanced both the dagger and the sword I am holding with ice and threw the icy dagger at the third monster attacking Frecen and Gorni.

"WATCH OUT MY SHIVERING ICE BRAND ATTACK. IT WILL EXTINGUISH YOUR PASSION OF FIRE FOR ME!!" I strike my ice elemental enchanced sword toward the monster.

The ice blade immediately takes out the fire enemy. Ivenumo hacks at his opponent with mighty swings from his battleax but doesn't seem to be able to hurt it much without magic. He steps back and casts a quick spell causing the earth under the opponent to collapse and swallow it in. The dagger thrown by you at the last opponent disappears as you attack the creature in front of you, concentration was lost (this may happen a bit early on, but as you're doing using it a lot helps). Gorni's ice spell finishes it as Frecen stands there attempting to look like he's helping and not succeeding. After the win the group moves on and eventually finds itself in a large, cavernous chamber. The ceiling curves around the room, painted with pictures of combat. In the center of the room is a grave surrounded by red light. On the right are tapestries, again of combat and on the left is a desk with some old, yellowing paper strewn across it. In the back of the room is an altar with a chest, also surrounded by the strange red light.

As you walk down a long corridor circling the building two men turn the corner in front of you and quickly draw their swords. They begin moving towards the two of you waiting for combat.
(I forgot to give you special moves so here's one, hayate is a spell which makes your movement faster and more fluid, not hugely so but enough to be useful)

kimory draws both his swords and runs tword the two enimes. when he gets close enuf kimory goes into a roll and rolls between the space between the oncomers. once hes behind kimory slashes both his swords at the enimes backs (you diside whether or not the attack connects).

The roll surprises one of the two, but the other slashes down, cutting into your leg. The surprised one is killed by your slash but the other one blocks it only to be slashed from behind by your ally. As you continue walking around two more men come out, one immediately begins to chant while the other charges wielding a club.
(remember you're now hurt in one leg, this will hinder you, but not extremely)

"Maybe someone knowledgeable in magic can explain those red lights?" I looked at Frecon and ask.

"While I go check up those paper on the desk" I added.

Frecen analyzes for a while without speaking, Gorni also looks at the red lights, he looks like he's testing something. The papers seem random, some look like old newspapers, some discuss different weapon designs, though most of them are in a style out of fashion in the modern day of weapons (such as broadswords, dartguns and throwing spears). There were also papers about a mans life named Orisy Elt with the standard fare of flattery, glossing over parts of his life and high lighting points someone found important. Reading it you got no sense of Orisy and in fact never really learned what he did with his life except for numbers, like dates, children and donations. In the midst of these sheets there were also a few talking about 'Eidolons,' something summoned with a huge amount of power. A few points were discussed and there were some diagrams. A huge bird, a beast with two horns that moved around on four legs, a serpent creature and a manlike esper, with huge muscles. The information was little though and it left the reader a little confused.

You head over to the street where the mission attempt will take place and find yourself on a long stretch of road any point of which you're allowed to attack from. At the entrance there is a restaurant on one side and on the other a small daycare center which still has noises of kids from the back. Later on there's a set of small, identical slightly run down houses. And at the end of the stretch alloted to you is a store similar to 7-11 or most corner stores. On the other side is some business which has a maybe twenty people coming in and out an hour. At that end is a group of young teens hanging out at the corner store. The housing area has a few people but not many and the restaurant has a slow flow of customers which will probably go up as 6:00, some people's dinner time approaches.

Cadreon offers the kids some money to bust up the road minutes before the trucks come through with jackhammers and the like. He says that he will cover for them.

The paper burns and another of the creatures comes out which is immediately slaughtered by Gorni. He then speaks "geez, I was using magic to push little by little and you had to do that" he shakes his head. Frecen looks at Christmas with distain. Ivenumo walks over to the tapestries and pulls it down, it has a picture of an altar surrounded by red lights being extinguished by a tapestry with a of an altar surrounded by red lights being extinguished by a tapestry etc... Without speaking to any of the others he threw it on and the red light faded before a much ;arger creature appeared. Christmas recognized the creature from one of the pictures she had seen on the desk, the one called Ifrit. It's arm immediately sweeps out sending Gorni into a wall.

The slash connects, killing the club wielding man. Your dog bites his leg wrecking his concentration as the dog makes the kill. The area is clear and soon you run into the other members of the group, you wait there until the reinforcements come up with the leader telling you that so far everything had gone well. He sent up two men to bring squad C down and led the group into a huge domed room. In front of the group were stairs up onto the floor above which had 6 archers visible who began shooting. Four swordsmen walked out from the shadows at the edge of the room and four swordsmen surrounded the top of the stair. "Charge" yelled the leader to his 28 men with him.

Cadreon plans on retrieving the spells in the most stealthy manner possible until the mission's stage is set with Cadreon hiding, the archer in position to snipe, the warriors ready to spring, and the boys tearing up the road as the trucks enter the town.

Physical description: His hair is very dark nearly black, but he has still has many white roots that refuse to fade from the semi-permanent root die that held his hair in its silver white state throughout his youth. He has dark green cold eyes and a stiff facial structure. His clothes vary but he tends to wear lightweight cloths mostly dark to conceal himself. He has a thin muscular frame and is about 5’ 10”

Description: Was once a highly religious child but as he grew he begin to see the corruption, the things he believed never stood up for him. He tried to believe but became embittered as he saw the corruption and the blood that went on behind the scans. At the age of 12 his hair was died bright silver to show his dedication to his belief,. and was retreated every year till he was 16 the die would never fade when treated each year. He keeps his past very secret but something sever happened to him to make him utterly fall from all religion and hold massive hate to all religions and deities. Over the years his hair returned to its near black state though he was told the silver would never fully fade. He is highly antisocial, bitter but somehow admirable, he can hold up a strong conversation but sometimes turns people off with his highly cynical attitude and twisted sense of morality. He can tolerate most people even though he seems detached and very bitter. Has been trained every year in martial arts sense he was 12 and at the age of 16 began learning assassin arts.

When you say starting place gangs does that mean Swipoe? I assume it does as no other place fits the description but I need confirmation.

And second is there any specific limit break when he uses Holy Dark, it seems like it defines the type of limit break he uses but it doesn't tell me what it actually would be.

Once you give answers to these you're in, and I like the heavy description of the character.

If you need a specific attack I can change it but it is more of a great inhance of abilaty and a total loss of humanity as his Holy Dark is more of an arua, I didnt put any particular attack along with this because I didnt want his limit to be over powered

A more specific limit break would be helpful but it's not necessary, it doesn't need to be really specific though and I'll try to tone it down if it does end up overpowered, or it could just be a super enhance type of limit.

Alkron
Alkron is a member of a weak gang, due to it's lack of religion and therefore difficulty in finding trading networks. It also doesn't have many members because of the heavily religous nature of Swipoe culture. It deals far more in outside Swipoe events. Like many other parties it has heard of the heavily rumored attack on Raychot. Unlike most other gangs this one (named Kolefsku) has a very different type of plan for dealing with the warfare. Most other gangs engaged in guerilla warfare, or did not enter the war outside. Kolefsku had been planning for some time now to enter some people into the Coniro military to help backstab and sabotage it's force. It's plans have recently been rushed because of wanting to be able to get troops in before that battle. The force had been called to the warehouse the gang worked in, a large worn down building. It seems that it's been abandoned for a long time. In the middle of the floor under some wreckage is a ladder down to wear the bunks are for the gang. During major talks though everyone goes up and uses the space of the full warehouse. "As you all know we have recently been planning to enter some well armed troops into the Coniro military. They will be independent operatives who will not be backed up by us until they return. At the end of this talk we will take volunteers. We also have another important job. The attack on Raychot has had a lot of quiet publicity, the only time it has been discussed in public was in the article by Efino Entoski in the worldwide news. We have no evidence except rumor of this attack though and are interested in confirming and selling this info to other organizations. Tonight a lieutenant of the Coniro army will be sleeping in a nearby inn. He has a small force guarding him, but nothing impossible to avoid. We want him captured alive if possible, but if not possible it is okay if he doesn't ever go back to Coniro. He should have a briefing from Coniro with him which will probably be destroyed if he thinks that an attack is occuring. We need volunteers for this mission, and tomorrow afternoon we will get all volunteers for our infiltration mission. Any questions? any volunteers for the job tonight?" A few people spoke up volunteering but most of the group were not equipped for a stealth job. (this is a first mission so it fits your abilities)

He watched with humor as he saw the minions of the gang clamor for attention, trying to volunteer for both missions. Now backstabbing didn’t interest him to terribly much, though he would like to see the military brought down a few pegs, if we was recruited so be it, he doubted it. He was new to this gang, he had been pulled in passing through looking for work so his name wasn’t to well known yet, even though he had herd whispers of the mixed haired newbe. But the second mission was just up his ally.

He stood up slowly and looked around, He took to steps forward, a few people quieted down, not to many people were as direct as he. “Hey” he said in a voice that made a few more people quiet down, he rose his hand, “I can take tonight’s job considering you will supply me for it!”

"Your stunts never fail to impress me, Anti Social. That is why I love you so much. Mind giving me a hand?" I said as I enchance my sword with ice and head straight to Ifrit.

"Hey Leader, it will be nice for you to shower some love for our Robin Hood here who is injuried. Some curative spells will be good." I leapt into the air and prepare to strike from above with Ice Brand.

OOC: I'm planning the attack at the busted up part of the road.

As he sees the trucks starting to turn onto the road, Cadreon tells the kids to leave and takes a position shortly behind where the truck is going to have to stop. Cadreon signals the archer to ready his bow and take aim.As the truck nears the busted part, Cadreon jumps out and signals for the warriors to do the same. He signals the archer to begin firing and circles behind the truck to break in and get the spells. He jumps on the back, draws his bokutos, and launches a fast combo of smashes to the crease of the doors.

kimory cast his ability hayate and used it in case one of the archers aimed at him he could possabley get away in time but he was still worried that mabey his leg would make that impossable.

he seen the worriors headed tword him so kimory got out his shurioken and told numu to wait behind some cover,once they where close enuf kimory threw 8 of the shuruken at the enimes (4 at the swords men and 4 at the archers,the woriors on the steps would have to be killed by the others) which would mean he has 22 left hopefully some would hit and kimory could avoid getting an arrow in his head.

The man who had spoken waits for a few more volunteers before saying "alright, you eight will do the mission tonight, and the other job will be decided tomorrow. You eight should discuss plans before you work on the actual job." The group went down to the bunks where they sat at a table discussing what to do for the mission. The man is on the fourth floor so most of the group thought that the attack should be on multiple fronts. If anyone had the skill to scale the wall that could be one idea. Someone could also try to find a way to gain access to the room with some other method. But most of it would have to be on the spot thinking. Four of the group immediately volunteered to dine at the hotel and help if a noisy escape occurs. Alkron was not one of that group as they volunteered very quickly. The other four would each figure out what to do on the spot. It's a large hotel so a lot of walking is not out of the ordinary nor is loud noise from below. Stairs are the method of going up and down floors so if they leave now they may be able to catch the target out of his room. The group is provided witha facial description and a description of the clothes he was wearing previously that day. (I'll tell you if you see him).

As Christmas leaps she has little control of movement and is easily cuffed away though she does manage to slash it's paw a little. Frecen starts slowly healing Gorni but it seems like it might take a little. Ivenumo starts a charge but has to stop abruptly as fire shoots at him, he barely manages to keep his balance from stopping so quickly but manages to hold his place against one of the paws with quick slashes from his battleax, then the other one came... he found himself against the wall with a tapesty over his head. "ouch." Ifrit took a minute to wait for it's opponent to rise giving enough time to all of them and for Gorni to stand.
Cadreon
The archers shot is blocked by a spell the vehicle is enchanted with, but his second uses a little magic power and breaks through killing the driver who considered himself safe. The two warriors each begin battling two guards but have trouble against the two opponents and find themselves pushed back. The vehicle stops with the driver dead and Cadreon smashes the doors. They resist for a few seconds before falling in. They land on some crated which seem in perfect condition, except for one which was dented. You can see in that one the seals.
Kimory
The shurikens fly towards the archers but the banisters they stand at provide reasonable defence though some wood falls down. The other four for the warriors have better success. One misses, one hits a shield, one hits armor and knocking the man down who is quickly dispatched by a spell and the last is killed outright. The force with you charges up the stairs leaving a few to fight the opponents below. Behind you a loud noise is heard. A blast made the entrance fall, making it possible but difficult to get out. And in the course of battle no escape would occur.

Alkron

"Ok" he speaks up, these guys plan could work, but there could be a different way. "how about this, I do like that, I can go with it... but they may have him protected from exactly what we are trying to do... how about we make it look like our target is something else..." He paused waiting for feedback, he waited for a few moments before explaining.

"Ok, its a hotel, they probably have safe boxes to store there more… 'fortunate' clients personals in, more than likely some valuables. We can make it look like a three man team is going for the safe boxes, if you can make yourselves look like a threat, they will probably spare no defense to keep there assets well graded.” He took a drink from his wine before continuing.

“the four of you prowling the hotel, there is a chance that in the confusion we can grab him when they are trying to secure him... and in case they get him to his room we can have someone pre zip lined into his room already assuming it has a window, or we could simply pick the lock. Then whoever is there will wait for him and any guards hotel security left him with to return, eliminate them and secure the target. If we pull this off, we may be able to grab a few of those safe boxes and spilt up the spoils between us 8, with any luck this job could have a payoff."

KIMORY

obove the stares kimory seen that there where a cuple worriors left and he had no chance but to fight, kimory directs numu to kill the one enime on the right and kimory runs to theeft hand side of the stares and tries to slice the man on the left in the throut with one of his swords.

Cadreon

Cadreon secretly sneaks around the truck to assist against the guards, and, assuming he isn't noticed, Cadreon slams a bokuto in the spine of a guard and quickly whips the other around to hit his throat. If Cadreon knows that he is noticed, he does a double-bladed swing downwards onto the one that notices him, putting some earth power into the strike.

Alkron
Hearing the idea of "payoff" the group of four that was initially going to work on the escape will head downstairs and try to access the money below (now called the 'payoff team'), the other four including Alkron will try to perform the capture of info and the kidnapping (now called the 'kidnap team'). The group will scout out the area until 7:30, then everyone will have a half hour to get into position before the 'payoff team' begins to move, they will try to begin to break in at 8:15. At that time the 'kidnap team' should be in position and be ready to act based on the situation that comes. It is now 6:10 and it will take about 20 minutes to get there giving 60 minutes to scout without bringing notice. Unless you have something else to tell the team you head out. (just post saying you head out if there's nothing else you want to do, you can pick up equipment quickly if you want on the way)
Kimory
Numu is almost slashed by a warrior but gets through slamming into him, however the armor renders it only an annoyance. However an annoyance can make a huge difference and he is quickly dispatched. The high speed Kimory has makes the slash very hard to stop and the shield can barely stop it, but does so. A blast is heard by Kimory in the background and a yell is heard.
Cadreon
The first does not notice the incoming attack and is immediately incapacitated. The other hops away from his opponent and turns toward Cadreon barely blocking the blow with his low quality sword which breaks under the earth elemental power. He is knocked out immediately and the warrior that has been helped goes over to help the other one. With the archer also targeting the two opponents that fight is probably reasonably safe though you may want to help. You notice in the edge of your vision one of the teens sneeking (badly) into the vehicle. The others seem to have gone. A crowd has become to gather watching the attack, and it seems like a few people may enter in (there are maybe eight watchers), two begin to pull away the two knocked out warriors apparently to take them away possibly to a hospital, but they haven't been seriously hurt.

Alkron

He and the other members of his team move out, only grabing wepons that can be concealed within there clothing or that can be easily hid outside for the payoff team to grab before attempting the job.

KIMORY

kimory looked around and seen what had happand the screem had come from (since i really dont know please add whoever screemed,also i really dont know what to do till i find out how importent the person is who screemed)
(note.if the person who screemed is importent make my carecter go to the bottem of the stares and see what he can do, and if its just a random gard make him call up a cupple teamates and continue to move up.)

CHRISTMAS

I split my sword apart and uses one of it to strike at the ground with all my strength until cracks appears.

"Ok, Me and Anti Social will engage him again but this time, I will enchance my damaged blade with ice. Should that monster got hit or try to block my damaged blade, the impact will shatter it and the icy sword shards will all go right at him. Robin Hood or Anti Social should take the chance to finish him off if there is one. How about it?" I suggested.

Cadreon

Cadreon returns to the back of the truck and says to the teen, "Get out, I don't want to have to hurt you." As he stands up higher to intimidate him.

Alkron
You arrive at 6:37 The hotel is reasonably packed with people making a lot of noise. There are a few restaurants advertising such names as "Best Meat," "Swipoe's Special Dishes," "Lamkoy's Diner" and "Culture Extravaganza." There is a huge clock on one wall and a large desk below it with lots of employees sorting paper an looking busy. The hotel has some interest in the gang warfare and it's possible that most of the paper is to do with that. There are stairs to each side of the desk, and a total of 13 floors. A few guards stand near the stairs and a few more wander around. They seem simply armed, each with a small black club and a short sword. The group Alkron is in enters mostly seperately with two groups of two (all in the 'payoff' team) and each of the 'kidnap' team came in alone.

Kimory
(how do you know that an arrow killed your opponent? you don't, I will continue with him alive.)
When kimory looks around he sees that part of the stairs were heavily damage by a magic blast killing some of his allies. The fight seems to be going slightly badly as there have been heavy losses but some success. Kimory's opponent regains his balance and commitingly slashes forward.
(I know I canceled out a little of what you said, but continue from here- note that you are at the bottom of the stairs fighting the people there)

Christmas
"Agreed" says Frecen who may have given up leading and goes along with the plan. Ivenumo nods and begins to charge. Christmas also charges following her plan. Ifrit summons a ball of flame in front of him which he hurls at Frecen who is knocked out immediately. Ifrit's attack take enough time that Christmas and Ivenumo get within range. Christmas blade connects and shatters across Ifrit who howls and slowly falls as he is slashed by Ivenumos' double handed battleax. Ifrit's large fall causes a rumble to echo around the cave as he hits the wall and floor of the cave. Ifrit seems to waver for a few seconds before slowly shrinking into a gem, Frecen recognixes it and names it "a ruby."
Cadreon
The teen looks around quickly before running, your allies jog up to you and wait for an order, the archer shoots a few arrows to keep people away, but not hit them.

Alkron

He scaned the hotel, it was buisser than he had expected, but that could be a good thing, It could cause a panic when the hiest begain. He started moveing up the stairs, he hadnt been givin a room number only a floor, but he assumed there would be guards stationed outside of his room, that was if they were at all conserned with his security, He reached the forth floor and casualy begain walking the halls, seeming as if he was searching for his own room.

If Alkron sees guards stationed outside any of the rooms he makes a note of the room number and walks down to report to his allies. If he dosent see a guards I will think of a new plan.

KIMORY

To soldiers "Are the guards out?" Cadreon says as he fills his arms and pockets with the magical seals and scrolls.

Alkron
Two rooms have multiple guards, one with four outside, the other with two. One of the two guards walks over to you and speaks "what are you looking for?" he speaks slightly suspiciously but also like this is a stock security question and he doesn't expect it to mean much.
Kimory
Kimory took down the man with his increased speed (I'm making the first mission somewhat easy) and numu went off to attack the last man not yet on the stairs. However the man was killed before Numu reached him and Numu came back.
Cadreon
"2 dead, 2 have been taken away" a warrior says in militaristic style. The other warrior checks if the other boxes are also filled by levering open the top, there are three crates and they are all full. The warrior makes a suggestion "maybe we could use the vehicle, but with crowded streets it might not be a good idea."

Cadreon

Cadreon motions for the archer to come down as he says to the warrior "Not a bad idea." Cadreon puts his magical items back into the truck.

KIMORY

"come on numu" and kimory and numu then headed up the stairs and continued on not knowing what to expect.

Alkron

He chuckled slightly at the guard, "This is a hotel buddy, what do ya think?" He looked at the guard realizing he may not want to piss these guys off, "by the way... do you know were room 512 is?" He pulled the number out of his ass, and he new that room 512 would be on the 5th floor and not the one he was on, with any luck this would make him look like an idiot, rather than an assassin (considering he was dressed in normal civilian cloths)

Christmas
Sorry to post twice in a row without you getting a post... you have however come much closer than the others to completing your mission so this may be a good thing.

Cadreon
The warrior speaks again "should we all go up to the front or should we leave someone hear in the back? The crates may need someone to hold them in but with the doors blown in the archer will probably have to be there for safety, what do you think we should do?"

Kimory
Above you on the stairs is a fight going on, three opponents holding off 14 men. But because it's on the stairs it can only be two on two at a time and it's hard to break through, the other are holding up shield and blocking arrows being shot from all sides. It looks too crowded for you to be able to push your way through or enter the fray but you could get next to one of the men with a shield to be safe. Looking around the room you see two pillars holding up the balcony above. You're also high enough on the stairs to see that past them near some of the archers (four total, two on each side) is a door which power seems to shoot at various moments killing allies. You see at the entrance to the room four allies struggling their way through the debris, but their position is unsafe, however they have not yet been noticed by the archers.

Alkron
The man looked at him skeptically "kid" he said with an air of condescension "that's on the fifth floor, not here on the fourth, you don't want to be hanging around this floor, there's a bit of security here." The man goes back to his position standing slightly bored next to the door.

Alkron

Hurrying back downstairs he quickly finds one of his buddies from the kidnap team.
"hey, we got a problem and I got a solution, but I need your help. there are two rooms with guards stationed outside, one of them has to belong to our dear friend, the other... well I have no idea, but here." He hands his partner a very small tablet filled with herbs that he pulled from one of the satchels on his belt,
"that tastes vile... but it'll do the trick, I need you to cause a severe distraction so I can get into the room, the pill I just gave you will dissolve under you tong in a flash, it should cause you to vomit quite violently” He say a skeptical look come over his partners face, “ya, it ain’t goin’ to be pretty… but it will get the job done, it wont make you sick, only vomit for about three minutes, that should distract them, I will sneak past them and pick the lock, shouldn’t take but a second so they shouldn’t see me, then I will crawl out the window after confirming the room our targets in.”

KIMORY

kimory took out 4 more sheruken(18 left) and throws them at the archers on the top of the balconany hopfully if not killing them distracting them enough that the ones sneeking up behind would be safe. also right afterwords kimory ran beind one of his sheiled team mates and waited for a chance to get threw.

Cadreon

"You 2," Cadreon says, motioning to the warriors, "will stay in back. Provide as much cover for the boxes as possible. Use the busted doors if you have to." Then, Cadreon motions to the archer and asks, "How good is your balance?"

CHRISTMAS

"Ruby huh? Allow me to tell you all about the definition of Ruby. AHEM!!!"

A deep red, translucent variety of the mineral corundum, highly valued as a precious stone.

I then turned to Frecen. "So, what do it do? BTW, This is the "power of the mystical tomb" we are looking for?" I asked.

Alkron
"HELL NO!" the man says causing people to look over but they quickly lose interest, "alright, whatever." He heads up at 8:14 and begins to barf, the guards run over to him (Alkron can begin acting now but I'll type more first) and almost immediately a hotel worker runs up and says loudly "all guards head to the bottom floor there's an attack!" One guard stays to help the barfer and the others run off as the worker goes to the next floor.

Kimory
Two shuriken fly true killing the targets but the other two miss. This gives time to the people entering to come in safely. It seems like the fight farther up on the stairs is going slowly...

Cadreon
"Survival, I could lean against a crate." The warrior nod assent and they all hop in the back.

Christmas
"Probably" says Frecen, Ivenumo then mumbles quietly "what a cliche" but he goes unheard. Gorni suggests an action "let's head back out, we can alalyze there."

Alkron

He quickly makes his move to the door, he almost feels bad for his ally for a moment before realizing the huge humor in what was going on. He was inside the door within a few moments, and shut it behind him, his eyes quickly scanned the room for anything of significance to find if anything would give this away as his room (let me know if I do) he then scans for anything of value (if there is he takes anything small or any spare gil around).

If this is the room he makes note of this and prepares for his plan then runs out using his stealth dispatches the guard with a quick blow to the spine and gives his friend a remedy to the tablet. if not than he moves out the window and carefully climes out and moves as quick as he can to the window of the other room and repeats the process above.

Cadreon

Cadreon stops the archer and says, "I'll need you up front with me. If anyone gets in the way, you are the only way we can hit them without me crashing the truck." Then he says to the warriors, "Hang on, this will get rough." Cadreon steps into the driver's seat and waits for the archer.

KIMORY

kimory ran from cover with numu following behind.they both ran twords the open door the other teamates had just entered hopfully they would beable to enter without interference.

CHRISTMAS

And so we headed back to where we first came from.

Alkron
The room is cluttered with clothes and random objects. Most seem to be junk from some modern popular rebel band called "Exterminated Rebellion," there is about 40 gil lying in the open and some gold jewelry. The next room is very neat with two suitcases lying on the floor, one filled with clothes the other with a few documents, blank paper, pens and pencils. The name on his appointment book fits the name you were told. The guard is easily taken down as he wears no armor. Your ally speaks in a low voice as he looks at the puke, "I feel kinda sick, can you do the rest?"

Cadreon
The archer gets out of the back and comes up to the front. They begin to move and travel without any problems back towards the base. However a few hundred feet away they see there is a minor gang attack against it. The old building has arrows flying in it and there are small melee skirmishes though most of the fighting is with bows. There are twelve attackers you can see, most archers and a few warriors.

Kimory
Maybe I'm explaining this badly, you are on the stairs. There is an area below with a door entering it that has been damaged by magic. A few men just came through to back you up. Above you on the stairs is some fighting which you're not close enough to access. Two enemy bowman are firing at you (you killed the others but these two are farther away and harder to hit). The shields your team carries holds off most of the arrows. The archers are on a balcony surrounding the top of the room where the stairs lead to. Behind them is a large door that probably leads to your target. The fighting in front of you begins to go well for your side and you soon break through. Your allies reach the balcony and quickly take out the bowman. The leader reorganizes you "there are thirteen left? that should be enough, the mage that has been attacking us should be through these doors, I'll challenge him and you all can help." He looked around and spoke again "everyone with me?"

Christmas
You come out with the group in reasonable condition to find that night has fallen. As you climb out of the tunnel the town elder walks in looking sleepy, "Oh, hi, it's night now as you can see, did you succeed?"

CHRISTMAS

"Ya, I guess so. Hey Mr Leader. Show gramps the red shiny thingy we found." I said.

Alkron.

He looks at his 'buddy' and grins, "ya man, ya did good, I owe ya a big one… here" he hands him 20 of the forty gil he swiped from the apartment, though he fails to mention the gold jewelry in his pocket. "and hey, if your feeling sour about it, I’ll even let you slug me after we get through with this thing."

He hands him a small stick of jerky that had been soaked in brandy and honey, "suck on this until you feel good enough to chew and maybe swallow, your body may be lacking some of the nutrients it needs after that ordeal, that should help you recover, take it easy man" He props him against the wall and retires back into his targets room, waiting for the prime opportunity to strike. If he does not return he will only have to option of hoping that his team gets trough with it.

Cadreon

Cadreon focuses his strength on using earth energy to bring the building down and destroy it's foundations. He tells the archer to shoot some of the more accurate archers.

Christmas
The town elder spoke first "it's okay, I want everyone to learn what you found at the same time. You guys can go to sleep or decide who's gonna talk tomorrow morning."

Alkron
About an hour and a half he hears a few people walking outside, the room is basically an ordinary hotel room, it has a bed, desk, bell, a room off it that has running water, and a few chairs.
(Are you going to be in the open or hiding somewhere?)

Cadreon
The archer sees you blasting one of the foundations and grabs your arm "this is our home! you can't do this."

Alkron

(I will be hiding, when he hears someone comeing he holds himself to the roof of the closet)

He waits patently

CHRISTMAS

"I vote Leader to talk tomorrow, what about you all?" I asked.

KIMORY

occ:sorry about the misunderstanding ill try to keep with the rules next time.

"yes im with"i yelled to him and watever oders he gave i would fallow.

Alkron
You hear a little talking outside when a guard walks in speaking and looking behind him (you can begin to intefere at any point in the proceedings). Another guard follows before the target walks in. He sits down in an armchair as the guard continues speaking, "sorry about the disturbance sir, we will post two guards outside your room tonight. You will leave in the morning right?" The man made a gruff noise of assent and looked very pointedly at the door. The guards left and when the door was closed he stood up and walked over locking it before going over to the suitcase and taking out a notebook. He began mulling over it at his desk making notes at occasional moments.

Christmas
Ivenumo shrugs and speaks "I don't care as long as I don't have to." Frecen seems built up by the vote of confidence (at least that's how he takes it) but then Gorni speaks "Christmas came up with the plan to take out that beast but it would be fine in Frecen did the talk." With the group okay with Frecen speaking they went to sleep. The next morning the town of about 200 people met in the center of town to discuss options. The town elder spoke first "As we all know we sent four of our best down to investigate the tomb below and their leader will talk in a little. But first I would like to mention some options we have, a) we can attempt to defend ourselves, we have some competent fighters and we have built a bit of a wall. We're not sure an attack will occur but if we want to stay we will have to be prepared to follow this plan in case of attack. b) we could leave this town, it's very important to all of us but life is important too. It would be difficult to get away but we may be able to manage. Of course some could follow that plan and some could stay and fight giving them more time in case an attack occurs in anyone has any other suggestions they can speak up after this report."
Frecen then stepped up and said in a slightly unsure voice "The four of us, Gorni, Christmas, Ivenumo and I went down to see the secret of the tomb below our town. We were attacked by creatures made of flame and then we found ourselves in a large domed room. Within this room there was a desk on one side with paper describing something called eidolons. There was also a tomb and an altar. A creature appeared at the altar, maybe 20 feet tall. We defeated it through Christmas' strategy and it wavered out of life. Below where it was we found a ruby. We're not sure what this means but in passage 7 of Delocus (scripture) it describes a force more powerful then most humans which it titles Eidolovi, a similar name to Eidolon that can be summoned through minerals such as diamonds, saphires and I would guess rubies, though probably only specific ones such as this. My guess is that we can use it to unleash massive power against an attacker, so I believe plan a is the best plan if we can find a way to use it." He walked back and sat down next to the others.
Gorni muttered "good job" before they looked back up to see what the elder was saying.
"...can see, they did an excellent job, I'd like to have a vote now to see what course of action people think we should take."
At this point in the events however a sentry ran up to the stage and spoke loudly "paladins have arrived, they say they want to help in the defense." from this point on it became a basic unthought about assumption in everyone's mind that they would fight if attacked. There were many excited mutterings as everyone rushed to the gates to see the paladins.
They came in horse drawn chariots carrying three men in each. The paladin in each wore spectacular well polished armor, they wielded medium circular shields and broadswords. Each had a short sword in their belt as well. Also in each chariot was an archer in much lighter chest wearing iron coats for defense. The third in each was a light armored warrior each with a mid length sword. There were 12 of these chariots, behind them came 8 more with a single spearman in each for a total of 20 chariots and 44 men. They rode up to the village and stopped before the small gates in a perfect line. Three paladins jumped down and strode through the gates before speaking to the elder in a strong voice. "We the fourth paladin platoon of Sailov have come to help the people of Raychot against the expansion of the Coniro empire. If you accept our help we would like to meet with the military leaders of this city to plan for this combat in three hours time, we'd like to scout out the area first. Of course, only if our help is accepted." The elder immediately told him he was and the force rode off again circling the village.
The elder called the town council over and the four with a few others. The first words out of his mouth were unexpected "awfully showy aren't they" but he didn't follow this line of thought "you four should go to the meeting," then he pointed to the council leader "you too" and he picked a few others "you should have a quick talk now about who you think should be our military leader in this campaign."
The group met and argued for a bit about the leader. The council leader argued for Frecen because his last mission had been such a success, this was also supported by the priest of the village. Gorni supported Christmas to lead. Ivenumo seemed to have no caring as he leaned back in his chair, though he was listening. Eventually Frecen was decided on to lead their force and he chose a few others to command with him, Christmas, Gorni and two that hadn't gone down named Hyrusi and Avolla. He then asked "anyone have anything specific to contribute, or should we just meet up in three hours with the paladins?"

(and for a little probably not much is going to happen for your character so I tried to do something big before it got to a point of just waiting)

"Alright let's go in" he said. The group went in and found a mage at the end of a long corridor like room, it was about fifteen feet wide and maybe a hundred yards long (sorry if you follow the far superior metric system I'm American), the leader spoke "I challenge you" he said, the mage gave no answer but sent a huge fireball down the corridor. The leader charged and met the blast with an ice attack. He yelled "everyone charge!"

Alkron

He waits a few more moments before silently dropping down, landing on three limbs with his right arm instinctively landing behind his back were the hilt of his sword would be if he was wearing it. he moves and peaks out of the small opening he had left in the door and sees his target sitting, back facing him. he pulls out a piece of cloth from his pocket and another vile from the same another of the many satchels he had on his body. he pours a very small amount of the liquid in the vial on the cloth before returning it to his pack.

He moves out quietly crouched behind his adversary moving quietly, he readied the cloth in his hand and held his breath. He moved in a flash, timing his movements precisely, spinning the cloth he raps it around his targets head and within a second makes a sudden strike with his finger to the base of his thought, momentarily asphyxiate him, prevent any instinctive cry he may have made. he holds the cloth for a moment until his target losses consciousness (unless you have a different plan)

KIMORY

occ:heh...yeah im american as well so dont worry but that was funny to me for some reason.

doing as said kimory went charging along with the group hopefully surviveing,and winning this battle.

(by the way he is trying to keep to the back of the group to avoid damage and also he is only going to attack when he finds anoppen spot in the feinds defences)

CHRISTMAS

"HEY!!??? WHAT ABOUT ANTI-SOCIAL?? HE ROCKZ DUDE. WHY ISN'T HIM INCLUDED?" I suggested.

Cadreon

Cadreon stops and says, "Fine," and gets out of the truck. He tells one of the warriors to go into the building and help take out the hostiles. He tells the other to guard the truck. Then Cadreon goes back up and tells the archer to make sure nobody gets into the truck. Cadreon then enters the building with his bokuto drawn and senses alert.

Alkron
He loses conscious immediately and falls forward onto the desk with a little noise. The guards don't notice however.
(You chould remember that another part of the mission is to get the suitcase)

Kimory
The full group charges forward. But it's a very strange charge, the people in the back push the others forward and the people in front seem to be trying to find a way to the back. They get twenty feet from the mage and find him dueling with the leader. The leader has strong defense against the magic but keeps on being knocked back so he can never actually slash his opponent. Eventually he tries a rush dropping his defense to get a stronger attack and he's killed. This sets the rest of the troops into an attack against the mage.

Christmas
The group was a little taken aback as a whole, individuals either looked taken aback at the outburst or they seemed to hold back chuckles at it. Frecen responded "think about it, if he never talks there's no way he can lead a group. If he rocks so much he can be in whatever group you lead or help lead, okay?"

Cadreon
The archer takes some long distance shots from the truck but they don't seem to hit. The warrior charges the bowmen formation, disrupting them immediately and stopping all shots. A warrior turns to face Cadreon and does a wide slash to stop his approach.

KIMORY

kimory fallowed with the group but durring this time he also gave orders to numu to sneek behind the mage to prepare his overdrive,which he will use when he gets the chance.

(also if im not aloud to use my overdrive yet then just let me send numu in just for an attack.)

CHRISTMAS

Cadreon brings a bokuto to block while simultaneously whipping the other into his knees.

Moving he grabs the suitcase, he takes the notebook that he had taken out of it earlier and puts it back in, along with any other personal documents he thinks may be of use, (i.e datebooks) he looks out the window, he is four floors up and needed a way down without being seen.Him a sutecase, and a fullgrown man, down four stories, without being scean.

He pulled of his shirt, reaveling all of his concealed wepons, and medicen satchels. useing the shirt he tied the suitcase around his back, it was heavy but it freed up his hands. Now he had to options... Run out of the room take out the two guards loudly and run in a blaze of glory out the front door and probobly die... or two, lower him and the body somehow out the window, down four floors, and quietly reach a safepoint untill they can contact a pickup. He decited the 2nd option made more sence.

Alkron runs to the window and looks out, examaning what he has to work with.

You can't limit unless I tell you you can, which is rare and will happen generally on storybased missions not just any old one. The mage sees Numu and blasts him away. He now steps back to the wall so no one can get behind him and begins blasting at people.

Three hours later the group meets with the 'aladins' and begins to discuss plans "With our chariots we are much more successful in an open plain setup which is why we were commanded to come to Raychot, the setup here is ideal. We are willing to face any attackers in the plains. Your force should either defend the town or retreat away as we don't want any deaths to occur."
Ivenumo strangely interrupted him at this point "prestige."
The paladin looked at him surprised at the interruption "whatever could you mean?"
Ivenumo looked at him squarely, "you don't want deaths because this is supposed to look good, an impressive stand by the Sailov force in defending good citizens. A good leader would get the largest force he could manage, take any advantage he could get- that avoids losses. But this isn't about that, it's about looking good." This was both standard Ivenumo and it wasn't, he was frequently openly insulting, much more so then this, but he also would never usually say more then two sentences.
The paladin looked taken aback, but not at the accusation at the fact it was brought up "Of course. This is a good place to defend but there are many more important places to defend, this however is a place that will seem innocent and get good publicity, but remember we're also helping you." At this the group was clearly split into two groups, one merely surprised by his bluntness, the others amazed at the morals. "It's politics, without good politics there won't be enough power to defend anywhere."
The elder spoke up "I think we have to discuss what you've said, I think you can defend us reasonably but if someone want to fight that's reasonable to." The paladin nodded, this seemed so pointless to him, but he couldn't stop people from fighting. The group went to the center of town and began to talk.

The man crumpled slightly but stabs at Cadreon stomach with such speed it'll be hard to dodge. Around you your allies seem to be succeeding.

He has the cliched blankets and sheets to work with but not much else. At this moment two people burst in breaking down the doors. They raise their swords quickly to fight before realizing it's the third member in their 'kidnap crew,' "the others are making an exit rush, they got trapped for a while but they seem to have come close to getting out drawing away some attention, the two guards outside are knocked out. What do you want us to do?"

Cadreon performs a cross-bladed block to snap the sword between the bokuto and leaps to the side.

Alkron nearly jumps out of his skin as the door is busted in, turning he readied two throwing knifes in each hand before seeing who it was.

"GOD DAM IT ALL" HE put the knifes away, "you scared the sh*t out of me!" He realized how ridiculous he must look with no shirt on, suitcase tied to his back, he removed the ties and puts his shirt back on. What did he want them to do? Sense when was he the leader, oh well it couldn’t be helped. "What’s the situation downstairs?
they doin ok or are they sit feet under? in any event is it hectic down there?" He looked at the sheets and the other objects in the room, they could easily make a makeshift stretcher, it was then he felt his own arrogance and pride kick in, he let a twisted grin play across his mouth, "...if it is... how many guards did they leave by the front door?"

"Their is still some fighting down there, as the fighting is slow, they'll get held back by a few guards and take a long type to break through. Their much better armed so the guards won't attack- you don't risk that on the salaries they get. And are allies won't attack because they have little chance against the #'s, or that's what it looks like. Their are maybe six guards at the front door, but we might stand a good chance against them. In any case it'll be easy getting to the bottom floor."
The other seemed slightly annoyed at the quick giving of authority but let it go. He did mention to the other in a kind of vindictive manner "that's not military fashion. You offer numbers and info, you need to give info as fast as well as you can." Saying this also fully gave authority to Alkron by implication, which probably wasn't his intention.
The immediate response was "I did."

Kimory skillfully stays out of the way as do many others. Almost immediately though a light shines on the battlefield. A man appears next to the mage who is surprised. The man quickly slashes out with his long rapier taking away the man's life. He then spoke to all the remaining group (about seven men), :we need to bring the artifact out now" he was quite charismatic and most people immediately went into the chamber beyond to help carry. "A power we think from Crucicles has just this morning taken a huge swipe into Swipoe territory" he followed them into the room and showed them what to carry. "Swipoenians can't stay here much longer, and we must enter the war more fully. Crucicles is the enemy at the moment, but the other two sides are at war, you must choose to help. But I woudl choose the force that has proved many times it's willingness to stand up to Crucicles, I would back Coniro."

Cadreon slams his foot into his opponent's gut and slams one bokuto across the front of his knees. He prepares to block with the other bokuto.

"calm down boys, were assassins not soldiers. And if we do this right, hopefully we wont have to fight... He looked down at there target, I’m assuming its ok if this guys a little banged up when we get him there."

He pulled out a small knife from his belt and put a very shallow cut across his fallen targets chest. causing a small swell of blood to soak a small part of his shirt, but it did no real damage. He then turned and pulled of the quilts and sheets from the bed, then went to work at removing a few of the longer supports from the side of the bed frame. it took him about three minuets to detach them. He tossed them back and said "help me out guys, tie those sheets to the two polls together with the sheets try to make it into a decent stretcher, we half to carry that guys fat ass all the way down on it."

They worked on tying it together, putting thick knots to support his mass, they used both the sheet and the quilt to give it extra tension. "ok guys, here’s the plan, we can get him out of here, he looks injured, there is a battle going on, and we all be able to act professional here, all we need to do is run him out the front door, no questions asked, the guards shouldn’t stop us for anything more than a routine cheak seeing as we aren’t in uniform."

He paused only for a moment to think of a decent story, then gave a chuckle, he was arrogant enough to try it to, simply for the fun of it. "Ok," He pointed to the first guy "lets go with what we did, some resistance fighters tried to break in and take this guy. They drugged him and wounded him in the process, the situation downstairs scared them off, they thought it was a troop of soldiers coming for them. they took of and we were contacted by the guards after they say the severity of the wounds." He pointed to the second guy. "you examined his wounds and came to the conclusion that he needed a small stitch, we didn’t have the supplies here, so we had to take him to the nearby hospital." He grinned, "Then we just walk him out of the front door, they would never expect kidnapers to simply walk out of the front door of a public hotel."

Everyone: I may include vehicles a lot but they're rare, a decent size gang might own one, they generally have reasonable spell protection as they are very valuable.

The chest this new man chose was carried out by the group without trouble. One guard showed up but he was immediately dispatched with great skill by this new man. As they left the building he gave them a name to call him by "Shator." He brought them to a large building with a truck posted outside, "I don't work for Coniro but this is their enlistment office if you're interested. Please load the chest onto this truck." The group did so and then filed into the office where a man looked over them gratified at a new group. "Everyone please fill out these forms" he handed them around. "If you have any questions ask, for example troop type asks for your style of fighting answers can be as brief as ranged or melee to as long as melee, light armor, dual weaponry, saber, fencer style of fighting. Or question 4, for which you write whether you want to fight on the frontline or defend taken forts, or be in a small group that works for it's own specific commands that usually works with a larger force. You may not get what you ask for."

The plan seemed to go well, they walked down the stairs without meeting anyone and walked out the hotel without being stopped outside they met four guards with bows aimed at the exit and many civilians watching. The story went well though and they escaped. Once they were about 100 yards away one of the men started laughing but managed to stop with a stern look from the other. The group headed back to the base. They returned at about 12:30 and had the man and suitcase taken by the leading members before they were told to get a good nights sleep. "Be up by 10:00 and come to the planning room to discuss events, at about 1:00 we'll see who wants to sign up for the big mission though we might have some other options to by that time, if you guys want to talk before going to sleep that's fine but you should get a good rest tonight."

Alkron waited till the higher ups left before breaking down laughing... "Oh my god.. ha ha ha.. that actualy worked!!!" he laught for a few more momunts before straitining up. "Ok, I dont think we have much more unles eather of you have something to say, if not we might want to get a bit of rest."

Alkron heads back to his room with half intentions of simply skiping tommorows mission and sleeping in.

The next morning he gets up and heads to the planning room after eating breakfast. The others are already there and as the person who was most conistently at the point of action it falls to him to talk. It seems that the others have already discussed their knowledge of the others.

The elder responds "kind of, we can travel in any direction along the plains. They also have chariots so it's quite risky. However if we head towards the woods in the east towards Torguii. As we probably won't be attacked for a while it would be easily possible if we don't delay. However many are confident in these paladins, and don't want to leave unless they think it's absolutely necassary. I'm not sure how to evacuate if we're not yet in trouble and have people willing too. If you have an idea of a way to get people interested I'd love to hear it."

"Thank you" the recruiter said "please wait a few hours before we get a truck to pick you up, and so we can figure out where you'll each go." A few hours later a truck came around and they loaded in the back. Some of the troops were quiet and some began talking. They traveled for two hours to a camp for nightfall and loaded out to an area with a small bunkroom surrounded by forest.

He gives a synopsis of what happened the previous day, from when they entered the hotel to when they left. He sat down in a chair and listened.

The man stays down. The rest of the fight seems to have finished remarkably quickly with the backup and bringing in the goods from the truck is completed easily. The group heads in and is talked to by Slateo "congrats, good job guys." He says while passing around 300 gil to each, "we're now going to manage to take guerilla warfare to the next level. A new and hugely powerful group has been invading this city and we have to get out of here as fast as possible. We think it's Crucicles but have no actual proof. It's been a very quick invasion, but if it's Crucicles they won't be able to bring enough power to land this distant to permanently change Swipoe. Anyways we need to go ahead with the plan, we've got a group including you four, our most magically adept troops, there are six we're sending and an excellent scout. You fours job is to make sure that the magic users will be defended. You'll leave in the truck you stole, out of Swipoe it'll be recognized as a Coniro truck, you'll probably have to abandon it but it may be useful to use for a while. Just so you know this truck was sent as a armament truck. Cadreon, Kymin (one sent out as a magic user) and the scout Telfor will lead this guerilla attack. Any questions? Any ideas?"

"So" the leader says "your group went well. In fact we had news from the other group, they've succeeded but one was arrested due to stupidity and the others were reasonably injured." He passes around bags of 400 gil each. "If any of you have any interest in entering the Coniro military to see what you can do to weaken it or at least get info to us you will be our first picks. Is anyone interested?"

Alkron

He want interested, he didnt want to say yes, he wanted to stay as far away from the military as possable, he didnt want to be treated like crap like that... but... He may be able to get out of this place for awile, and... he could learn some skills, he hadnt had any real practice with his encounter combat in some time... and this job was big, it may get him a payoff, a big one.

"How much this job pay? and what do we get in extras? Like wepons, training? what kind will the military offer, and were will we be headed?"

"Tee hee, Gramps like to anaylsis a lot. Anyway, I just wanted to know if there is a place to evacuate that's all." I teased.

"Since you said it. just make sure the path to the wood is clear and give warnings to people for preparations of a possible evacuation." I added.

"We could follow the supply route to the battle until we reach a vantage point where we have good vision. We should then go into a triangle formation with the mage and me on the sides, and the scout on the rear. it should look something like this

kimory began to look around at the serounding area and he seen a few animals in the wooded area away from the campsite. "go get something to eat numu" and so numu set off into the forest to get an animal to eat. after sending numu off kimory walked next to the bunkroom and sat on the ground next to it where he disided to get some rest whail he waited for numu to retern.

"From recent info we have reason to believe they will be headed towards Torguii, or if we're lucky Raychot. There's been some publicity of an attack on Raychot and so it will most probably have a better defense. Also it's not a trading town like Torguii so it won't be such a big deal if it's taken. You will assumably pick up certain valuables and get a paycheck. We will reward you reasonably when you get back and will give everyone 50 gil for expenses to start with. Any more questions, anyone interested?"

"We will" said the elder formally. "We should round up the people that want to fight." About an hour later they reconvened surrounded by an assembly of warriors. There were about twenty people surrounding the area where the leaders were. "Alright your leader is Frecen, who we all know and... respect."
Frecen now began to speak "this is real combat and we won't hold anything against you if you're not interested in taking a risk." No one in the crowd moved so he spoke once more "alright we'll divide you into divisions then. Four will go with each of us. Every night a group will have a rotation guarding, all groups should be ready for combat, and should have some sense of how to work with each other." He pointed at people for what night there troops would be on guard. He was first and Christmas was on the fifth day. "You should all go talk to your four troops." He placed Ivenumo under Christmas because "you two have such a nice relationship," this got him a glare from Ivenumo but he was in her group.

Cadreon
"That may be a viable idea" says the scout "but we should definitely check the area around them and what kind of force they are first. Against a supply line that might be viable, but if they have cavalry it might be hard to pull off. Also with two groups of one person we stand little chance of dealing heavy damage though we might be able to distract for a little. And if they have scouts and troops in patrols outside the area that could also create difficulties. I say we scout first and plan later, but if we do get attacked we should have some idea of what we will do. We can't take on a large force in direct combat.

Soon numu returns looking reasonably happy but it seems nothing much else will happen for the day.

kimory awakens the next morning still sitting on the outscerts of the baunkroom.

The building part you're allowed in includes a few classrooms each with a small area off it used as examples of combat situations. There is also a large field for people to have larger combat tests, training and competition for. There are dorms that can hold about 200 people at a time, though it looks like there hasn't been anywhere near that for a while. There's a smallish dining area with five long tables going about 60 feet. There's a large kitchen behind it but not many people working because there's little need. It looks like these barracks were heavily used towards the beginning of the combat. A bit over half the building is closed off to you as is the armory.

kimory is rudly awakend in the morning at the new training facility and he was way tired but since he did choose to join this on his own acord kimory went with it. when he headed out for this nine oclock tutureal kimory notest all the places he could not go and he did get lost a few times but soon kimory found the right room and headed im so that he could see this tutoreal with everyone else.

The man starts by showing the classrooms, and talking about learning military tactics- he does it in a manner that feels like he's advertising their training program. He goes on to show the field and at this point sets up a small tournament dividing people into groups of four randomly and having each two playoff in a semi final. They are each given covered versions of their weapons so no one will be hurt and pair Kimory against a smallish man wielding a rapier.

"Therefore" says the scout "I should begin scouting, agreed?" He looked around the group but continued before anyone spoke "I'll be gone for a day or so and you should all find food, as you'll need to eat."

"WHAT!!??? That is not what it works. You all are suppose to say.." I stood up and make a pose.

"Hi there. Name's Kilov. I wield a smurfing awesome broad sword that claimed a million lives. And I uses OMNI SLASH that pawns everything."

I land my hands on Ivenumo's shoulder.

"Anyway,Me name Christmas!!! and this dude here is Ivenumo AKA ANTI SOCIAL. Also, you haven't tell me whether you like me!" I pointed at those two that didn't tell me their names or got their names mentioned by the magical voice from the heaven.

"So, what are your names?" I asked.

the dual started and kimory ran to the side of the man but kimory is not doing this for an attack if the man attacks kimory will try and block it to the best of his ability after the hit kimory will take another quek step to the back of the man and then try his hardest to get a hit on him if that fail then i will have him simplely continue blocking and try to find a place to attack.

A smile broke across Alkrons face. 'duels... Ha ha this may not be as bad a I thought'
"ya," He said "Its been awhile since I have been in a combat situation, non-lethal duels I’m assuming, hell ya, I’m in." while he was an assassin and best for stealth, he was not all together incompetent when it came to a fight, he was highly acrobatic and he simply had to fight smart, instead of the usual might makes right attitude most warriors had.

The mage responded belligerently "Vanco, the unbelievable mage that can crush anything" and the other followed looking a little shy at the outburst "Gunther, I'm a pretty strong fighter with my claymore."

As you run by you notice that more troops have arrived and are preparing to enter duels with each other. The man attacks with a twirling motion of the rapier which Kimory stops with difficulty before the man jumps back.

Alkron
They give you covered short katana to use and nothing else. Your first opponent is one of the men that worked with you, he has two mid sized swords and heavy armor covering his chest, a helmet and light gauntlets. The match begins and he opponent stays where he is waiting for the attack.

Alkron hesitates for a moment before placing his blade in his sheath, this was to through of his opponent, he would pull it out only when it was necessary and once his friend was used to fighting him unarmed, He moved forward quickly, right before he entered his opponents range he changes course and enters an aerial landing to the side of his adversary, he begins the slow spell while in the air and quickly cast it on his opponent from the side.

kimory casts his increase speed spell (sorry i forgot the name of it) and then rushs tword the enimy however kimory stops moving two feet away from the oponent hopefully this takes the enime y surprise which then kimory will run in and attack while the enime is surprised if the enime is not surprised he will simply go into a defencive position and then if the enime tries to attack kimory will run to the enimes side once again and try for a strick

Cadreon bides his time causing small tremors to capture deer for food.

"So, do anyone of you had anything to raise up? Like you are married and your wife will wallop you to death if she found out that you will have to spend one night doing guard duty with a cute innocent lady." I asked.

The man turns as you leap and slashes out missing very slightly, he brings that sword back as the slow spell takes effect. He visibly fights it but not to much avail. He holds his position again waiting for the next onslaught.

Stopping two feet away leaves Kimory easily attackable and he barely deflects a quick stab before the man runs quickly back again, he seems to like to enter short combat and then retreat.

Cadreon
Food is easy enough to find. A day later the scout comes back with information "it seems that there aren't any troops on the path I went on heading to Raychot yet there is a training facility that just had some troops brought in. From a different angle I'd expect the troops to come, but it would be difficult to get to the terrain without going near Raychot or crossing difficult terrain lie huge hills. I think we should attempt to catch the troops coming from the training facility. There is a place they'd have to go through next to a large hill which seems to be an easy point to attack from, it gives about 100 feet of height easily. On the other side is some plains but nearer the end of the area that's good for the hill there are a few boulders that could be used effectively. As they will have a larger force then we are coming through in all probability, we or I could scout out the troops for more in depth plans but I think that should be a good enough spot."

No one seems to have any issues though it sounds like Ivenumo mumbles something derogatory at the "cute" part. You see the other leaders are either talking, and Frecen is having his troops walk through patterns with expressions quite clearly reading "this is stupid."

Alkron looks at his enemy, he was faster than his opponent on normal ground, though maybe not stronger, he was sure duel wilding weapons like that was slowing him down and the slow spell was an obvious advantage.

he moved forward his body moving from a state of clam relaxation to an explosion of forward momentum, he ducks and closes distance, there bodies were almost touching, you couldn’t get much momentum in a sword swing at that range. He raises up attempts to grab his opponents arm uses the weight of the blade he is holding to pull his arm straight and slams the heel of his palm into his opponents elbow against the joints strains.

CHRISTMAS

"Alright then. If you have any problems, feel free to rise it up to me. You guys have experiences on situation like this right?" I asked.

(sorry could you rephrase the question? I'll try to answer but if it's bad give me more sense of what you want. Cadreon can give his weapon earthen powers, and he can disrupt ground. He can also send minor amounts of turf at targets, not enough to serioudly hurt but it can distract or knock back. Overusing spells will weaken them, a lot for a little while and possibly permanently, I will warn you when you get near overuse.)

The opponent pokes out awkwardly with one sword not expecting the charge but it's easily ducked under. The other comes down brushing him with it's side but again something that wouldn't be serious had it been a uncovered sword. The joint... strains and the weapon drops, I'm going to assume you don't break his arm as he steps back as far as he can and swings the remaining blade slowly.

Kilov speaks up "Is there any training you want to work on?" Vanco interrupts as he says on "what did you guys think of those paladins? Pretty impressive, but to say what he said..."

He watches the blade come down, he again steps forward seemingly into the cut, it didnt matter if he expected this or not, he was commited with his cut, he rose his hands and grabed his opponents wrist and sidesteped out of the path of the blade, he pulled the wrist into his body and set the blade make a soft contact with his leg. Alkron steps and turns his body without realesing the arm, cranking the sholder without breaking it, he can feel the strain in his arm so he steps forward beofre stoping craning his arm more before droping to the ground, carring the arm with him, all in one fluid motion.

KIMORY

kimory starts to notice that the man does seem to only attack in small bursts so he uses this to his advantage.
first kimory runs away from the man waiting for the man to follow from a distence like he would probebly do once kimory reached the edge of the ring kimory would wait for the man to get fairly close in his unprotected running state and he would throw a cuple sheriken at him hopefully while the man was avoiding the sheruken kimory would come in and strick with a quik forward lung and then reachreat in the oposet derection twords the center of the ring where kimory would deside his next option.

AS he begins his attempted attack the mans blade does connect suddenly as the slow spell wears away (it's not too great yet) but he doesn't manage to stop the rest, the man is smashed into the ground and a whistle blows from the man in charge who comes over and speaks "proving once again that you can never tell the result from this kind of match- as we don't see what the weapons can do." The man looks over to see another man talking to a group "It looks like this has been canceled" he says as that group begins to walk away "come with me for the briefing."

The man doesn't follow for a minute or so before very slowly advancing, the shuriken was unbalanced by the cover and it missed by a foot but the man still moved back quickly. Kimory's stab struck the chest plate before the man knocked the katana to the side. However at this point he heard a man yell to stop "that would of ended the fight, we've given up on this tournament idea becasue there's not much time to get training done. Come with me for a briefing on your mission."

Cadreon reveals his plan. He tells everyone who has access to earth spells to cripple the enemies by focusing all of their power into shattering the foundations of the training center when the assault goes through.

The group seems comfortable with the plan, and begins a wait.

The town stays in waiting, that night the paladin leader comes back "We've just gotten some info on where we think the attack is coming from, we want to move out and meet the enemy troops so that the city doesn't enter as much danger, if you feel the need to risk your lives you can come."
Alkron
Is taken with others to a talk by the man who seems to be in charge of the training center "It seems we're supposed to move out." He looks around at the group "It doesn't seem like you're fully prepared yet, but whatever this combat is important. We will be heading towards Raychot, with other troops that will be arriving in the half hour we'll have about 60, that should easily be enough. But just in case something goes wrong I'm coming." He says the last with a arrogant air, but it's possible it's somewhat justified.

Cadreon tells the troops to get into good positions and wait for the signal. He prepares his spells and gives the signal, unleashing a huge tremor under the base to smoke any stragglers out of the base, as well as cripple the foundations and make it sink. He also has seals readied for the troops already marching.

"So, are you all coming?" I asked the others.
