Though I'm awaiting the new Zelda, I'm rather happy Nintendo's doing this. They're adding more to the game, and if they want to make it better, it's better for everyone.

I just hope fanboys on both sides can have enough decency to not complain uncontrolably, or rub it in. Though, I know that's asking too much.

They rushed WIndwaker, and that only had five REAL dungeons. So, if they make the new game bigger because of this delay--more power to Nintendo.

I was disappointed for about half a second before I came to my senses and remembered what happened with The Wind Waker, like Sephex said--only a small handful of dungeons and an extremely boring, unrefined Triforce hunt near the end of the game. This delay is definitely a good thing.

I'm disappointed, but this just means the game will be that much more kickass. I'll just have to suffer for a few more months.

A better analogy would be Ocarina of Time, which was delayed so many times I lost count, but it turned out to be beyond great. Well worth the wait.

well actually from what i've heard it was a very good idea to push it back because the Fire Emblem on GC is apparently very good and may catch a number of eyes, so Zelda would have had competition on it's own system. Of course, the best thing i heard was on planetgamecube when they said it seems like one of the big launch titles of the Revolution will be a GC game!

I think it's good they went ahead and made the move to give it more time. No one wins from a rushed game. Star Wars Galaxies anyone? Now that was a rushed project. So Nintendo has a thumbs up from me :)

There is a simple way to solve this. Don't go in Zelda threads in any message board and don't read any Zelda article in any kind of gaming publication.

Well, that's a relief to my wallet for this holiday season. If I wasn't looking forward to any other games, I'd probably be a little upset, but nah, it's a good thing.
