Ack! Where do I go now? (FF 3)

Ok, I just killed Hyne and I have the Airship. But where do I go with it?
I tried to fly off the Floating Continent. I found:
-a sort of crystal on which you cannot land.
-The Temple of Water. But I need Elia.
-Elia sick in bed and a sort of dwarf tending her. But nothing happens when I talk to her.

Is there any other land on that horribly large sea map? How do I take Elia with me? This game is great, but it's driving me nuts and bananas!!!

One of the gameplay elements that FFIII introduced but didn't last in the long run was the ability to use items in the field--either to unlock doors, remove barriers, or just hand stuff over to NPCs. What you need to do is give Elia a Potion.

By the way...*slaps herself in the head* I should have though of it. Even though they usually give you hints when you should use an object....
