[RP] Legend of the Silver Dragon

If you read later Job says and im paraphrasing, "I know that those are things You can do, but not I." Also, leviathan is a mythical creature. Religion does not go with mythology. The breathing fire and all those are metaphors. Read on, God is pretty much asking if Job can do things things showing that Job is not as powerful as God and should not defy Him.

sorry lets not stray too far from the story.(I'll Just say that I take what the bible says by faith and that I truly belive dragons existed...god never told somone to ponder over a myth)

Shana

As I read on I truly took in the power of the words in the pages. I looked at the sky, It was getting darck. "Freind. Might we find some food and lodeging before the sun sets?"

*continues walking, looking ahead*"Yes. As I said before, we can rest in the monastery, and they'll be more than happy enough to give us some food as well."

Saga

"That's great!I'm starving after those battles just now."

*luaghs*"Well, we still need to get there first. We have to reach the summit, that is where it is."

Saga

"Isn't this the peak already?"

*looks ahead to see that we are aproaching the summit already*"I guess so. Not much longer now until we reach the monastery."

Xian

I was just about to jump Kusanagi, when all of a sudden, I was lifted in the air.
"Ah!" I look up to see Xian-yu holding me by my shirt. "Ahhh!!! It's gonna rip!!!! Xian-yu!!! Put me down!!!"

*laughs*"It seems your dragon has matured a bit more than you."

Xian

"Oh, God...This just isn't my day..."

"Looks like it."*continues to walk*

Xian

"HEY! I take that as an insult!!!!!"

"Sorry..."

Xian

"So....Um.....I guess you're not letting me down anytime soon, huh?" I looked up at Xian-yu.

Saga

"Let's go."

"I agree."*presses onward*

Xian

"Ah--Hey!!! I'm still up here!!!!!"

"Don't worry, your dragon will let you down when it either feels like it or if it wants to listen to you."...*say playfully*"Come on Xian-yu."The dragon starts to walk with the group.

Xian

I looked up at Xian-yu, who gave a small smile.
(You wanted this to happen, didn't you?) I thought.

*smiles and keeps walking. thinks:"She sure is nice, but she needs to try and get her dragon to obey her though. There might be another...accident." small chuckle*

Xian

I sighed, and started mumbling out loud the bad things that happened to me.
"Then the underwear fiasco..."

*laughs*"All we saw was your little pet running around with a pair on his head. We didn't see anything else."

Xian

"No, it was before that..."

"There was another? I must say, you do have some bad luck there."

Xian

"'Cuz I'm with a bunch of guys, and like I said before, things change."

"Males don't bring bad luck.*smirks*I'd say you just stumble a bit around them for some particular reason I'm not going to announce."*smiles*

Xian

"It's my karma...I knew it, I just knew it..."

*laughs*"No, not your karma. It's something a bit deeper than that. I know."

Xian

I started blushing. (Ahhh!!! Not againn!!!) I thought. I knew exactly what he was talking about.

OOC: Well, I'm off to church. See you in a while. :D

*laughs*"I see you figured it out. And it's true, so don't try to hide it now."*smiles brightly at her*

"No, no, no!!!"

"Trying to deny the truth? You know that I know so there's no use doing that."

*smiles*"It is so, and you'll need to accept it. Sooner or later. If oyu hide it for too long, you might not get the chance to..."*fades off and turns away, standing still*

(Yeah, and I'd have to tell them sooner or later about my past...) I thought, frowning.

*turns to her and then has a concerned look*"Did I say something wrong?"

"Oh, nothing! ......Just thinking..."

"Oh, good. I didn't want to offend you."

"Eh...Heheheh..."

*puzzled look*

"Nothing..." Xian-yu sneezed and sent my flying forward ahead of the group. I landed on my back and quickly recovered. I felt something tricle down my face. I touched it and let go to reveal some blood. "Oww...I must've hit something..."

*runs ahead, worried*"Are you ok?!"*catches up to her*

Xian

"Oww...Yeah, I think so..."

*helps her up*"Is your dragon ok? It seems to be having a tiff or something. Is that blood. Oh dear. Let me see that." I reach out for it but I don't touch it. A little wave comes out of my hand and in a few moments the nose was healed."There, better?"

Xian

"He sneezes, but I was never flown about....say....20 feet?" I put my hand up to my scratch.

"That looks pretty nasty. I'll get that..."*hovers both hands over it and releases the wave again, healing it up*

Xian

"Thanks...I guess I'm such an amateur dragon rider, aren't I?"

"Don't say that. You're young...well, so am I, but the point is, after you get some more experience you'll be one of the best dragon riders around."*smiles*

Xian

"Heehee..."

*smiles*"Well, at least I can make you laugh a bit. Now shall we continue?"

"Better than Saga can." I grinned.

*laughs*"I guess I'll take that as a compliment then."

I start to mouth some words.

*looks at her, puzzled, but then looks at the road ahead*

I called back Aroth my stalion and mounted him.

When we finaly reached the top I was mesmorized. The mountain itself was a site to behold but the Temple!... My god the temple was carved right from the Mountain stone and exstended beyond the clouds. Even as we stood at the top of the summit where the world seemd to lay befor us, the towers on each corner of this ...this Palic of gods... could not by limited.

I called forth Shimar (who seemed to come quickly) and got on his back. "{Take us to the top of this marvle friend}" "{With good will Shana}"

As he leaped to the sky, the clouds seemed to part like a small curtin and the crown of the temple rose before us. As shimar neered the mast of the temple I looked down to find the other towers peeking from under the clouds. And from all of them, like a loud but hevanly thunder, rose song of praise. I stood there with tears in my eyes. "If only I could share this monent with Xian" I thought.

Xian

I ran my fingers through my hair, twirling the ends.

*looks at Xian, who seems to be...uhhh...*"Are you ok?"

Xian

"Yeah...Just thinking."

*concerned*"Oook..."*walks over to the gate of the monastery and waits there, gazing at it*

Xian

"What?" I smiled.

*turns to her and smiles brightly*"I said ok."*turns back to look at the gate. tells to self*"I wonder if they will welcome outsiders. It's been so long since they've had visitors. I wonder if they will remember me. They have to, it's only been a month."

Saga

*reads a comic book while walking and sometimes bumping hie head on a tree*

"Nothing."I said to Xian.

Shimar glided back down to where the others were and landed. I stood by Reil who was cleaning his sword...Saga was the first to speak to me, asking what I had seen.

Xian

I walked over to Trinity and asked; "So...?"

*turns to her and smiles*"Yes?"

Xian

"Like...ummmm..." I was just dawdiling. (Dammit...Think of something...) "What type of relation do you have with the monks?" I smiled.

"Well, I lived here for most of my life. They are all very nice ppl but haven't had any visitors for the past decade. I left here a month ago do go out and journey and now I'm came back for a visit myself."*turns back to the gate, staring at it*

Xian

"Think they may have forgotten about you, or might resent you?"

"Forgotten me? Maybe. Resent me? No. Many priests have left the monastery to do some mission work. It's not very surprising to them. Most of them are old, but some are fairly young so some might remember me."*doubtful look on face*

Xian

"A lot of people..." I trailed off.

*turns back to her, still with the smile on face*"A lot of people...what?"

Xian

"Do people ever resent you for something that they know, but you don't?"

"What do you mean?"*concerned look. thinks: Did she bring this up because something happened to her?*

Xian

"It's like...How do I say this...It's like...Something happened to you, and don't remember it, but other people do."

"Oh, I've seen that sometimes. Well, it really all depends on what happened really. Some ppl judge you by that event, but other know you from before the incident and treat you the same. It depends on the event and the people that depends on how they will react to that and treat you like."*puts hand on her head and smiles down at her*"I know who you really are and will treat you accordingly and I know I'm repeating a bit so I'll leave it at that. I hope that helps you."*takes hand off her head*

Xian

"I guess that I don't have to tell my story, huh? You know what I am."

*smiles bigger*"Yes, I know what you are, but I would like to hear of your past...if you don't mind that is."

"Well, I used to live in this village of chimeras. They lived peacefully, never really did any harm. I was born there. After a few years, there was a raid. Almost everyone died, including my parents. I was one of the few that made it out. I was in a ship, it imploded, and I thought I had drowned, but I washed up on shore. That's where I live. An island..."

Kusanagi

"island?"

Xian

"Oh. Kusanagi. I didn't know you were listening. But, yeah. An island."

Kusanagi

smiles, "care ta elaborate?"

Xian

"It's a simple little island. No more than that."

shrugs, "if ya say so"

"Not a lot goes on..."

Kusanagi

"huh, well either way, are we goin in or not?"

Xian

"Trinity?"

Kusanagi

"Trinity?"

"I hear an echo..."

"I'll hurt you again...and you don't want that, do you?" I smiled.

Kusanagi

"alright alright ill stop"

Xian

"Good boy." I patted his head.

Kusanagi

"...purrr...now lets go already"

"Patience."

"Hold on. Were there any people on the island?"

Kusanagi

"well, there would have to be for you to stay sane...right?"

Xian

"Yes. My mother, Auroun, you know. My family."

"Family..."*mind drifts off*

Xian

"Though, I don't really know the entire meaning...Mom died a couple years after she raised me. Auroun left...and I was still alone..." I looked down.

*comes back after hearing that statement, gets close and hugs her*"I'm so sorry..."*tear*

Xian

"You're...crying..." I wiped away his tears.

*breaks embrace and smiles at her*"Thanks..."*wipes sleeve over face*

(You guys remind me a lot about him...and I'm glad for that.) I thought. Before I knew it, I was crying, too.

*sad, concerned look*"What's wrong Xian?"*wipes tears with one finger*"Why are you crying?"

Xian

"I...just remembered someone....Ever have that memory of someone, and something bad had happen to them...you wish you would forget...and then --they may not know it-- but other people remind you of them..." I sniffeled.

"Yes...*sniffle*...I have."*tear again*"I won't bother you about it."

Shana

I listened to Trinity and Xain, and sorrow silently crept up my spine. "(She is already taken by another man...besids, I knew that beeing with a woman is somthing I myself said could never happen)" I thought sadly. I had always thought that A man on his own could go on in this world. but more and more I found myself thinking of her when I'm on my own or when I see sights that I want to share. Now she was in the embrace of another, I nolonger had the chance to share my feelings. "(Don't be silly...I've spent 19 years without companionship, why should I start now)......(But...I grow lonly in this world)". I sat on a large stone and polished my spear trying not to think about it.

Kusanagi

lowers his head and becomes filled with sorrow, but then he forces it out of himself and puts on a cheery face

"alright, if none of you are gonna go in, then I am"

he starts towards the gate

*to Kusanagi*"No...*sniffle*...you can't enter. There is a verse you must recite to make the gate open. Only ppl who have been here before know the verse."

Xian

"Hopefully, you do, right?"

*smiles through the tears*"Yes, of course I know it. I lived here for a bit, remember?"

Xian

"Ok, good."

*stares at her, smiling. thinks: "What a nice girl, and beautiful to boot. She definitely has a troubled past, but she has pulled through it to get this far. She must have great confidence, vourage, and determination to be over here. Whatever she is trying to reach, I shall help her till the day I die."*

Xian

"What are you smiling about?"

Trinity

*still smilin*"Nothing really. Just you."

Xian

My eyes widened a bit.

*smiling even still*"Surprised? I wouldn't blame you. Not many ppl think priests can love."

Xian

"Well...I don't find it too suprising." I smiled. (Dammit, girl you better not be blushing...) I thought.

"I'm glad. Anyways...*kisses her forehead softly*...I love you, just so you know."*turns to the gate, preparing to say the verse*

Saga

I walk off without anyone noticing.I walked for a while before I really noticed something strange.I drew my sword,preparing for any uncertainties.Then,a blinding flash of light engulfed me and when I open my eyes,I was in a strange place.Though my weapon is still with me,there was nobody.Magnus,Xian,nobody.I was all alone.I began to feel scared.Scared of being alone.I never felt like this.I don't want to lose my friends.I finally found my dearest friends and I don't want to lose them.I'm done of this loneliness."CAN SOMEBODY HEAR ME?"I yelled.

Xian

(Oh, man...Wait...Don't forget what mother said...You still have more important choices to make in life, so just keep going...) "Right..." I murmured.

Trinity

*opens mouth but closes it and looks around*"Hang on. Where is Saga?"

Xian

"Saga?"

Trinity

*puts hands on sides of mouth to project voice*"Saga!"

Magnus

I waved my sword in every direction.I hear voices.Screams and wails that are noit of this world.So terrifing and painful the voices are,it makes me want to go insane."STOP SCREAMING!"I yelled.But the voices screamed on and on endlessly."AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!"

Trinity

"Oh dear. This is trouble. Where could he have gone? I hope he is alright."*puts hand on Xian's shoulder, looks at her, and then takes it off and goes searching*"Saga!"

Trinity began calling out to Saga. I looked around and saw no sign of him..."He must..." I stoped in midsentince and closed my eyes. "{Saga. Tell me where you are.}" There was no answer but I could vagly feel his presince...imside the walls!?

*sees an expression on Shana's face*"Something wrong? Do you know something?"*walks over to Shana*

"What do you think happened?"

*scratches head*"No clue..."*checks around the place some more*

"Huh..." I continued searching.

I snaped out of the trance and asked Trinity "Is there a ward(spell or barrior) on the temple walls?"

Xian

"A barrier? Why would preists need barriers?"

Kusanagi

"to keep out evil spirits" *slaps head* "duh"

Xian

"Well, other than that. I mean, Saga isn't an evil spirit, correct?"

Kusanagi

"I guess not"

Xian

"You see. Now, I really don't think that Saga is in the Temple..."

Kusanagi

"...or is he?"

Xian

"We don't entirely know that, dumbell."

Kusanagi

"well i dunno"

walks up to the wall and taps on it

(I wonder if Saga realy is in there.) I thought.

*stops to think*"I remember what they told me. A coupld centuries ago they used to use it. People were trying to burn and attack the temple, so we had something of a magical barrier aorund it for protection. But it's never been used since. I wouldn't know why they would put it up now. They could've put it over a secret entrance or a hole in the wall so ppl wouldn't be able to sneak in without going through the gate, but I don't know if there are any. Strange..."*thinks more*

Xian

"Trinity?"

*turns to Sarah, still having that thinking expression on face*"Yes, Xian?"*smiles a bit at her*

Shana

(calm yourself shana...he likes her just as much as you do) "are any runes used in this ward? If so purhaps I can find it." I brought out my small cristle I keep around my neck and started blowing lightly on it.

Kusanagi raises his scythe and suddenly swings it at the wall, it strikes it and chips off a piece.

as soon as the chip flew off a small light eminated from the chip in the wall.

Kusanagi turns to Trinity "...well?"

I heard someone slash at a wall.Then I saw some light coming from a hole.When I wanted to reach for it,something invisible grabbed me and pulled me further.I tried to free myself but to no avail.

"No......don't take me away......I don't wanna be alone anymore......no.....don't take me......."The screams became louder and louder and finally drowned my voice.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH H!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Xian

"I heard something!"

Trinity

"I wouldn't know, Shana. As I said, they stopped using it a couple centuries ago. You could try."*hears a faint yell*"Yes, I heard it too Xian. But where did it come from?"*searches a bit more, closer to the walls*

Shana

a beam started to emmerge from the cristle. pointing to the small hole in the wall. I put my index finger over my lips and blew softly...then the hole got bigger and a small gust of wind came from inside.

Kusanagi

bends down and looks into the hole, inside he sees Saga, screaming but no sound came out of his mouth

still looking into the hole he says "dude, thats fu(ked up"

Trinity

*shocked*"GET HIM OUT! QUICK!"*runs over to them and the hole*

"How?!"

I ripped off a bit of my shirt and began to tend to Trinty's hand.

None of us knew what the void was so we ignored it but we rememered it anyways. I only need to remember what it was."*ruffles hair in frustration*

"Well, we need to hurry...How long can Saga stay in there?"

*looks at her shocked*"SAGA'S IN THERE TOO???!!!"*thinks harder, almost getting a headache over it*

"I can tell...It's his voice..."

"COME ON! THINK!"*eyes closed really tight and then open suddenly*"I GOT IT!!!"

"What? What is it?" I smiled.

*stands up with body facing the void. puts hand together with arms in position like in FMA when they're about to do alchemy.*"God! Ruenarushjafkearukaso teqsoe kourusshekaka!"*the void starts to fade and Saga is thrusted out of it*

"Oh, my God! Saga!!!" I ran to him.

*runs to him and crouches next to hm*"You ok man?"*runs hand over him, healing any physical wounds*

*stops and truns around to smile at her in reassurance*"Don't worry. He'll be just fine there. Besides, I suggest we wait until he gets up before we enter. We still have a few hours before the sun sets."*starts to walk off again near the walls*

"Alright...As long as no one kicks him in the head, I think we're good."

Trinity

*waves in the distance*"Kay!"*goes out of sight as the walls start to curve and I keep close to them, examining them*

Kai's little head popped out of my bag. "Well, someone's been sleeping..." I commented.

*talks to self as I walk along the walls*"I wonder why the void was up. Why would they put it up now? There is no reason for this at all. Has something happened inside the monastery?"*feels along the wall for something but doesn't know what*

I pet his head and went back to my business. (whatever that is)

"Hmmm, nothing strange here. I wonder why that void was over in that spot."*thinks more as I walk around some more*

Wile trinity and Xian (Sigh) were togather, I talked with Reil and took some corn bread out of my bundle and gave it to Saga. "You'll feel better if you eat somthing."

Xian

I looked up to see Shana, somewhat sad. I got up and walked over to him. "You...seem sad..." (Man, I hate it when I repeat myself...) I gave a shy smile.

So, is it too late for me to make an appearance?

Well, long time no see. :D Umm...Well...

I guess it is too late then.

No, I don't think so...Hmmm...Maybe you went back to the king when you left to tell them our destination, i guess?

Xian came up to me and looked a little shy doing it. "I'm fine. I'm just happy to see that you and Trinity are becoming close...not that it my busniss."

Xian

"What are you talking about? I'm still not certain about any of my feelings, now...I'm just...suprised..."

Shana

"...I see. Well its your life and as a friend I want you to make the most of it."

Xian

"Yes, I do...It's just...It's all new to me..." I blushed, trying to cover my face.

Shana

She looked like she felt cornered so I tried to easy off "whats all new to you?"

Xian

"Ummm...Well...The feelings I've known all my life was betrayl, sadness, and rejection...hate..." I bit my lower lip.

Trinity

I was about half way around the monastery.*sighs*"Still no sign of another void. There had to be a reason as to why it was in that particular spot. I'll check it again once I get back to them."

Shana

I looked at her and thought (how could somone so beautiful live a life so cold). "Have you4r parents never shown love to you?" I asked with some concern.

Xian

"Mom, yes...I mean my other mother. But I never knew her that long...My real parents..." I shook my head. "Never knew them. I was only 3 when I washed up on shore."

Trinity

*feels a slight depression in one part of the wall*"Hmmm? Is this another?"*says the same spell as before and the void starts to vanish here. A hole in the wall appears in its place*"I knew it. They covered up the holes in the wall so no one could sneak in."

Shana

"what caused all the hate that you feel?"

Xian

"The hate..." I clenched my fist. "It comes from the grief I've felt..."

Shana

"..." I didn't know what to say.

Xian

"...Been trying to put those feelings behind...Start over...become someone new...someone with not as much pain in her life..."

Shana

"I...Im sorry."

Trinity

*gets around and sees the others*"Hey guys! I know why! I know-"*stops dead and sees Shana and Xian talking. slumps, frowns, and slips back to the other side of the monastery before anyone knew I was back*

Xian

I couldn't hold it in any longer. I fell to my knees and sobbed.

Shana

I nelt down beside her and held her close...I never tought somone could go without love like that for so long. I knew my time with her would not last...Trinity has a grait interest in her...(mabe this is why she feels so torn) I though.

Trinity

I reach the opposite side of the monastery from the others and I sit against the wall. "How could I have been so stupid. Shana's been around Xian more than I have and here I come and get in the way. Xian is very beautiful and I like her a lot. I know it's only been one day but I feel as though I've known her forever..."*sighs*"I don't know if she feels the same so I guess I should back off for a while. I don't want her to feel uncomfortable."*sighs again*

Xian

I continued to cry and shake.

Shana

"Xian...you have lots of friends now...just remember that."

Trinity

"I'll...*sniffle*...just stay here. They don't need me. They were better off before I even came along."

Kusanagi

walks over and kneels down beside Xian "I don't know what happened to you in the past, but i do know that we all have nothing but love for you here and we'll always be here for you, so please don't cry"

Xian

"Yeah...I know..." I said through my sobs.

Shana

"Wheres Trinity?"

Kusanagi

"I know the pain you must be going through, Xian"

smiles, "well, maybe not exactly, but i do know what it is like to lose your entire life just like that" *snaps his fingers* "*sigh* I imagine its similar pain"

Xian

"Yes...Knowing you have someone, and you truly know it...but then...they're taken away..."

Trinity

"I don't see the point in staying with them. Once we spend the night in the monastery...I'll just stay here while they leave. No point in fighting with Shana over Xian, no point at all. I don't deserve her anyways."*a breeze goes by*

OOC: The monastery is pretty big. That dragon would have pick me up and bring we all the way around. I am on the opposite side as you guys.

but seriously, a few posts ago you where looking at us all comforting Xian and then you went back around the wall, so you walked all the way back around?

"Mom!Dad!Look!I caught a butterfly!"I said as I ran back home.

As soon as I entered,I saw mom and ada's dead body in front of me.Standing on them were humans."Who are you people?"I asked."hey,they have a kid!What do we do now?""Get rid of it for some extra cash.""ALRIGHT GUYS,KILL HIM!"

My eyes turned from black to beast yellow and slits for pupils,like a snake.My teeth grew longer.I sprouted scales all over my body.Two horns and a lion's mane burst out behind my head.My fingers and toes turned to sharp claws.My face grew a little longer to resemble more of a dragon's head.finally,a pair of wings sprouted behind my back.

"GGGGGRRRRRRAAAAAGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!"I yelled and charged at them.

"GGGGGRRRRRAAAAAGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!"and I awoke with cold sweat running down my whole body and panting heavily.
