[RP] The Destroyer

This is my very first RP. I hope its good enough. :)

In the days when man walked alone, there arose a Creator, her name was Vida. With her guidance, the humans managed to surpass all their previous achievements and truly grow as a race. Now, with Vida, came her older brother, Mori. He was the destroyer. When Vida slept, Mori came out and caused death and destruction. Their only likeness was in their younger human brother, Tyvain. They both loved him, though he was mortal and would one day die. Tyvain did eventually die, but he left behind a child. This child was immune to all the curses and the evils of her aunt and uncle. Unfortunately, this meant she was also immune to any magic. She did not believe in it and was, therefore, never affected by it. But one day Vida went to sleep and never woke up. Mori went rampant in the Castle of Forever. Villages were wiped off the face of the earth. In his excitement, he destroyed his niece’s village. The child was now the only survivor... and she was angry.

Appearance: She has black eyes with long purple hair. She keeps her hair down and flowing. She wears light clothing for enhanced agility. She has a bit of muscle tone from being a sword user.
Weapon(s): Jewel encrusted sword
Class: Warrior
History: Alyss grew up with her father in a small village. She never knew her mother and never dared to ask her father about her. Her aunt and uncle are the creator and the destroyer. By the time her father died, she was old enough to take care of herself. She stayed in that small village where she grew up with all her friends who where like family to her. But when Mori destroyed her village, she went out into the world to avenge her loved ones with the only possession she had left, her jewel encrusted sword that her father had given her before he died.


Alyss wandered the outskirts of her destroyed village lost. She never had gotten lost in these parts before. There was too much on her mind. She looked back, she had wandered pretty far. She didn’t even know where her uncle was. That’s who she needed to find, so she could kill him. She was still filled with anger and rage for her loved ones. Yet she was sad and felt so weak too. She stopped by a tree and sat down. Thinking about what had just happened. She quickly dosed off into a deep sleep.

Appearance: Shoulder length white blonde hair that is generally spiky and crystalline green eyes. He wears a pair of grey pants and a white tunic with brown boots. These are usually invisable because of the large black cloak he wears as well. He has one ear pierced with a silver loop.
Weapon(s): A short metal staff with a crystal suspended from one end
Class: Black Mage
History: Corin grew up in the same village as Alyss and they were the best of friends until his unusual aptitude for magic was discovered. Then they had a fight and Corin went off to learn black magic from a sorceror. That was 5 years ago and now Corin has decided to return to see his family and reconcile with Alyss.

Corin passed the last turn on the road home, his heart light. Then he saw the destruction and a cry of disbelief escaped his throat. He ran to the village, tears streaming down his face, for he already knew there were no survivors. A glint of purple caught his eye and he whirled in place, tears still falling. It was Alyss!
He rans towards her and woke her, his questions urgent. What had happened to their town?

Appearance: Long silky white hair and violet eyes. She wears a blue dress and sparkly blue taps. She has both ears pierced with sparkly blue eardrops.
Weapon(s): A short ivory staff with a blue crystal
Class: White Mage
History: Those who know her claim she is an enigma. They know her name, her age, and her day of birth, but beyond that there is nothing. Rinna's past is quite a mystery and her amnesia is something that causes her inner grief though her constant cheery outlook would no doubt deceive those she newly met. It is unknown where she acquired her healing abilities.

No more than a vagabond now, little Rinna had been wandering from town to town until she came across an unusual sight: smoke; a heavy smog, black like coal, drifting from a destroyed village. Her smile waned a bit at the image. I wonder if anyone is alive there?

Alyss opened her eyes to see her old childhood friend Corin. "What the?" She said still half asleep. "What are you doing here?" She asked while standing up and wiping off her pants.

"I came to see my family," said Corin, careful to hold back his anger at being treated so nonchalantly. "What the hell happened here?!"

"The destroyer..." She said to him. "Everyone's dead." She continued. She started crying. "I couldn't do a thing. He just came and destroyed everything." She told him while holding back her tears.

"Hello." Rinna said in a chipper voice as she approached Corin and Alyss. "You two look like you could use some help." She smiled. She couldn't help glancing at the destroyed village and her smile vanished. She shook her head and stared again at the two with a smile. "I'm an avid healer, if you could use some first aid."

Corin glanced at her. "Who are you?", he said, turning away from Alyss.
((OCC: Ohhh.... my character is the unfriendly yes yes))

Rinna looked curiously at Corin whose accusatory voice reminded her many who had mistook her for a monster before magic became customary. She smiled, "My name is Rinna. I am a mage of the healing arts. Pleased to meet you." She bowed in respect.
((this is the first character I've portrayed as being inherantly nice. heh))

Alyss looked at Rinna, she suddenly stopped crying. "I have a question, what are you doing in these parts?" She smiled. "And excuse Corin, he is... well...he's just mean." She continued.

Again, Rinna looked curious. She had been wandering in search of her past for months but the few people she'd told were very suspicious of her. Thus, she was hesitant to reveal her motives. "I am a vagrant. I travel from town to town." She said with a smile.

Age: 1362 (12 compared to humans)

Appearance: Short black hair that goes to her shoulders with spiky tips. Ruby red eyes. Wears tight black sleeveless that goes to where her ribcage ends and very short black shorts.
Weapon(s): Two short swords enchanted with dark magic.
Class: Theif
History: Min was the younger sister of an important demon family, but was raised by her mother to be kind and caring. When her brother became ill, her mother was determined to sacrifice herself to cure Min's brother. She didn't wish such upon her mother, and ran off to find a cure. The demons and evil she encountered taught her to act more demonic, as she was beaten near death many times just because she was half demon. She now travels the world, cold hearted towards many and convinced that her family would hate her if she returned (yes, she is a little stupid. Why? I'm tired -_- )

Min sits, perched on a branch of the tree lazily. She watches the humans talk without much interest.

"Oh..." She responded. Alyss started to be a bit jumpy. She felt as something was watching them. She looked around. "I feel we are being watched. Maybe its just me..." She looked at Rinna and Corin "Do you guys feel it too?" She asked.

"Hmm?" Rinna feels a presence nearby and turns to charred tree. There is nothing there. However, the little girl still knows something was there. She giggles as if whatever it was was playing. She turns to Alyss with a cheerful reply. "Yes!" She then opens her eyes and shifts them from side to side and shakes her head, no.

Corin frowns. "Who the hell would be watching us?" He turns to Rinna. "Where are you from again?"
(Mwahaha, Mercen and I have reversed roles, eh?)

Alyss's eyes widen a bit. She didn't remember Corin being so mean. "Can you try to be nice?" She said in a bit of anger. She looked calmly at Rinna and smiles, hoping that she isn't mad, or even sad.

Corin flushed and turned to Alyss. "As far as I remember," he said coolly, "The last time I saw you you weren't exactly trying to be nice either." He turned away from her and started towards the village.

"Wait up! I'm not done with you yet!" She said with frustration, bursting out of her cool personality. "Now may I ask, what the hell is that suppost to mean?" She continued while walking next to him.
((CONFLICT!!!!!))

Corin turned around and glared at her disbelievingly. "I can't believe you forgot!", he said accusingly. "When I told you I was going to learn magic you told me you hated me and never wanted to see me again! And all I came to do was this-" He swung around and brought her face to his and kissed her soundly on the mouth.

Alyss stood there shocked, she wanted to pull away but she just couldn't. Finally it was over and Corin pulled away. She gazed at him dreamly, like she actually wanted it to happen. She shook her head. Catching up with herself she said "How dare you!"

Corin gave a ghost of a smile and then all expression dropped off as his face as he turned to the village. "I'm sorry," he stated with little finality or truth.

Alyss looked at him. "Hey, I'm the one who should be sorry... I didn't mean to forget, it's just..." She stopped. She pulled him to her and hugged him tightly. "I didn't mean to push you away. I'm so sorry Corin." She started crying slightly. It was all coming back to her now.

Corin patted her on the back, feeling slightly strange. As he held her he looked at the ruined village and felt a deep pluse run through his forehead. He swayed once, then another shock hit him and he fell, losing conciousness with a groan.

She looked down at him, extremly worried. "Are you okay?" She asked. Then she turned to Rinna, who they completly forgot was there. "Do something. Please!" She begged her, knowing that she had healing powers.

"Well, um . . ." Rinna hesitated. "Well, you see. I've never been able to restore a person to consciousness. I can only heal minor injuries. I don't have a spell in my, my reper-toire . . . that can wake him up. I can heal him up a bit, but . . . we'll have to let him sleep."
She stood over Corin and raised her jeweled rod. "Heal!" She shouted in her tiny voice.

Corin groaned and turned slightly in his sleep.

DoB: Februrary 29 (yup, rarest day of the year...)

Appearance: Long billowing full-body cloak, avatar face along with tatoo of Ra on left cheek.
Weapon(s): Long sword
Class: Eldricth Knight (Fighter/Mage)
History: Exiled prince of Egytian-esque homeland (hence Ra). Obviuosly a vagabond and can live off the land with his famed steed Celandine and family heirloom sword made of meteorite steel.

I'll join in at the next major scene... (anybody know what time you'll be RPing? my best times are about 10 pm till 2 am eastern Atlantic)

In a shaken and soot-covered house with only half of a roof (the only house that had at least that much) Rinna and Alyss watched Corin as he slept.
"You are childhood friends." It wasn't a question. Rinna had made an observation and come to an obvious conclusion. She continued to stare at Corin but her spirit leaned toward Alyss. "You haven't seen each other for a long time."

((I'm sorry for not posting for so long. ;_; ))

Alyss looked at Rinna. "How do you know? Is it that obvious?" She asked. She looked back at Corin. She was still worried about him...

"You were really upset. Perhaps you thought that after so many years, he could be a better person; a nicer person." Rinna looks at Alyss and smiles. "He's a better person now. Just not nicer." She giggles slightly.

Min peeked inside of the room, through the window. "Wonder what happened...?" She murmured. "Could it be...? Nah, probably not." She said softly to herself.

History: Lived in a small mountain village of dragon people, until one day human's sought to enslave the mighty WereDragons, Draken was one of the few who managed to escape the evil humans and is now ploting to free his people from the bonds of slavery, few have every seen his true form and lived to tell the tale.

Draken was confused, the spell he had just learned had enabled him to warp from place to place but it left him so confused for a while he didnt know where he was, he heard voices coming from a nearby shack and decided to see who the people were, as he walkes into the shack he saw three people, one of then lying on the floor unconcious, as he drives his sword home into the ground the two women turn around in shock suddenly realising they were no longer alone, he looks down on the unconcious gody of a human male and said "he need's healing move out of my way" as he staps over to the unconcious body he neals down and places a hand on his chest, then he mutters a strang ainchient dialect "hmmsakenthee" he mutters under his breath and the prone body of the man spring to life...

Rinna stared at Draken. Her usual cheery disposition was momentaily absent. She was very disturbed by his presence.

Alyss walked up to him. "Oh thank you..." She smilied at Draken, but it quickly faded. "Not that I'm not greatful or anything, but, who're you?" She asked, puzzled at why someone would barge into a cabin unannounced and heal someone.

"my name is Draken Korien..." he replied "my business is my own. and who might you be and where is this place" he asked in return bideing his time...

"My name is Alyss, and this is Rinna," she said; pointing to Rinna. "And the person you just revived is Corin..." she continued. "And this is the Village me and Corin grew up in... or at least it used to be."

"what happened to this place, all i see is the residue of some great magic, it looks like a place i once knew..." he said as he suddenly lurched ove grasping his head in one of his hands as he fell to his knee's balnceing himself one the floor untill he subdued the pain in his head. "ARRRRRRRR WHATS HAPPENING TO MEEE" he screamed his blood burning, he ran outside feeling a presnce in his mind, he ran twenty yards and dropped to his knees again as his heart felt it might burst through his chest he felt a trasformation inside of him and when he looked down at himself he had turned into a dragon...

Min gave a shout, backing away from the dragon. Two kodachis appeared in her hands, and she moved into a defensive stance lest the creature attack her.

"No!!" Rinna shouted, standing outside of the broken house. But the demon girl was too desperately flailing about in defense that she did not hear the shrill voice of this small girl.
"Corin!" Rinna shouted, hoping the little wizard could fix the situation.

as he turned around, he noticed somepeople standing rigid as he looked calm he rememberd what it was that reminded him of this place, its residue, he had felt it when he had fled his home, just before he lost his memory, he looked at the demon-girl to his right with his dragon eye evaluateing the threat, and decided not to act and then turned to speak to the human "do not fear me child for i will not harm you" he said in a booming voice "what happened to this place, and that town how did it get destroid so entirely.

Corin stared around him helplessly. "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!?!" he screamed.

Rinna approached the dragon and the demi-demon. She was also curious as to how this town was destroyed. She was also curious why this dragon-warrior knew anything about it. It was too much of a coincidence to believe. Suspicion crept down her spine.
