[A] What doyouthink of this drawingkaizer21 10-17-2004, 03:34 PM :fpcold: can u be honest and reply? :nibbles: note-this is hand coloured :sweatdrop Odaisé Gaelach 10-17-2004, 11:41 PM It's by no means a bad picture, but (if you can alter it - was it scanned in?) correct a couple of things: 1) Her left hand has got a line going through the sleeve - erase that (again, of you can) because it looks confusing. You don't know whether there's a sleeve partially covering the hand or not. 2) Her fingernails don't look right. Maybe you shouldn't include them at all, instead just have the fingers. Other than that it's not bad. And that's my honest opinion. Ouch! 10-18-2004, 02:39 AM Aside from what OdaiseGaelach already said, her shoulders look pretty broad and her right arm is slightly larger than her left, as far as muscles go. That's something that's fairly difficult to change in this drawing, but it's something to keep in mind in the other ones. Maintain proportions and you should be fine. There wasn't really anything in the picture that jumped out at me and hooked me in. There's just a person in fairly regular clothes and it seems sort of drab. I don't know if you're just drawing a front view of a character you made up or what, but if you're looking for something interesting, you should have something that draws the viewer into the image. kaizer21 10-18-2004, 12:10 PM i saw all the problems that u pointed out. she's wearing gloves wear the tips of her fingersshow (4get wut they're called)...it is just a front view of a character i made up. the line in the sleeve is supposed to be there and i put itthere deliberetly (is that how u spell it?) with the broad shoulders, i thought of that too...but idont really seehow the right arm is bigger than the other... thnaks 4 the constructive criticism NashX 10-18-2004, 01:19 PM A portrait picture would be a nice way of showing your artistic skill. I liked the picture, and only noticed the above mentioned errors after someone else noticed them. Maybe it's my untrained eye, but I like this pic a lot. Colour would be neat! kaizer21 10-18-2004, 08:12 PM i have a coloured pic available...maybe i can post if u want Odaisé Gaelach 10-18-2004, 09:29 PM If you post it up I'll look at it. kaizer21 10-23-2004, 01:58 PM i posted a colour copy happy now Omecle 10-23-2004, 02:10 PM I like it, but I think you should make the shoulders a bit smaller and maybe make the arms a little smaller a bit shorter as well. Then it will look great. =) Odaisé Gaelach 10-23-2004, 11:22 PM That looks better now, but there's still some of the problems, like that line above her left hand. kaizer21 10-24-2004, 01:38 PM i kinda deliberately put it there to show that her sleeve is slightly see-through i guess... StarlightAngel 10-24-2004, 08:43 PM A tip: Girls usually have slenderer shoulders than boys. otherwise it's pretty good. ninja-yuffie 10-31-2004, 09:23 PM yah thats good, i like her hair ^;^ awsome. ninja-yuffie 10-31-2004, 09:23 PM yah thats good, i like her hair ^;^ awsome. ninja-yuffie 10-31-2004, 09:24 PM er....ok....i dont know what happnd there....my pc went a bit radge soz for the multiple posting Fate Fatale 11-12-2004, 03:30 AM not bad | |
