Does your party 'mature' as they do in Final Fantasy I? If so, at what stage do they mature?

Final Fantasy II (Origins) Do your guys mature?demise 08-03-2004, 07:14 PM Does your party 'mature' as they do in Final Fantasy I? If so, at what stage do they mature? Doomie 08-03-2004, 10:04 PM Mature? Do you mean change class? If so then no. In FF2, you raise your HP by losing HP, you raise your MP by using MP, etc., no class change. DJZen 08-04-2004, 03:14 AM If you're referring to the class change, then no. There is no job system in FFII, thus there is no class change. If you're talking about levelling up, that doesn't happen either. You increase stats by using them. Demerwen Owns 08-08-2004, 08:25 PM As previously stated, the advancement of your characters is totally dependant on the way you personally play them. UltimateSpamGrover 08-10-2004, 12:00 PM in FF2 and on your party doesn't mature DJZen 08-10-2004, 10:03 PM Yeah, they just get whinier and brattier as the series goes on. UltimateSpamGrover 08-11-2004, 01:03 PM Yeah, they just get whinier and brattier as the series goes on. exactly Nemesis the Warlock 08-12-2004, 02:42 PM All the characters of FFII are already grown up at the start. They just have those big NES heads, which make them look like children. :mad2: at the previous two posters. DJZen 08-13-2004, 05:21 AM They're not big NES heads. It has nothing to do with the NES. That's just how they were drawn. It's called SD (Super Deformed) style. Many of you are probably familiar with SD Gundam. Black Mage 08-13-2004, 06:21 AM Amano's art would say contrary to that. I believe the "Super Deformed" look was simply the best option with the NES's graphic limitations. fro828 09-06-2004, 03:33 AM true^ i personally don't like the way the "matured" characters look in FF1. the normal guys were better DJZen 09-06-2004, 08:10 PM Amano's art would say contrary to that. I believe the "Super Deformed" look was simply the best option with the NES's graphic limitations. Amano did the character design, not the character graphics. Square kept the SD character look right up until FFVIII. Even in FFVII they retained it. | |
