In what may be the most disappointing tournament ever. The decline of the voting turnout since my father's death, and some complaining that the best names have lost to "subpar" names in the tournament. This tournament qualifies probably as one of the worst. But who's to really complain? We have a winner, and it's one of the more unique names EoFF had, joining the likes of O_o, Crunchy Beverage, and Melted Snowman, and many more. Congrats Mo-Nercy, your screen name is now officially in the UnOfficial Screen Name Hall of Fame.

I don't like when people call this version a 'sham' or 'mockery' or something equally annoying because it ruins the mood for the rest of us. If you are upset about the voting make your voice heard through your votes rather than your complaining. :)

The above may have lead to the decline in voting but there were also outside factors, and hopefully they reminded us that there are far more things more important than screen name tournaments and that life is a precious thing. We'll get em next time, Prot.

My apologies. I was in a "different" state of mind in my last post and I was far too lazy to quote you properly.

I knew this guy was gonna win when he beat me in the first round.

Until this tournament, I always read the name as No-Mercy. Every time. I had no idea it was really Mo-Nercy. Sometimes I do that. I remember when FF8 came out I kept reading Rinoa as Riona, and then my sister pointed it out to me and I was in shock.
