now, I know everyone wants to know about Reagan and Smarty Jones, but this is a very interesting story too. apparently the guy was disgruntled? :D

I don't think he was a postal worker though. :\

I'm sorry, but I had to laugh when I heard about this story. Blame it on being desensitized, but that's seriously a hell of a way to go out.

I think that the "Only in America" phrase belongs here. Maybe not, I don't know.

Yeah, that's pretty messed up. It was all over the news monitors when I was waiting to fly out of Colorado Springs airport.

Man that guy was on a mission they fired like a million rounds(not litterally) and blew the dozer up 3 TIMES! and he dies from killing himself. atleast he was trying to avoid hurting other people, from what cnn tv tells me.

Actually, thats how the news introduced it over here: "This is one of the stories you can think only happens in USA".

I'm gonna laugh when someone bulldozes you home. Well, maybe not if you died.

The fact that they're even saying that is pretty saddening, really.

Well, I was watching the most idiotic news station at the time. It's a completly biased right-winged station loaded with sensationalism. It's the only one that broadcasts at lunch time.

Well, sensationalism does make it eaiser to digest.

Honestly, I don't know what to make of this story. The man was obviously in need of a hug of some sort, but never got it. Unfortunately, these sort of incidents will always occur because we can't keep tabs on every single person at every single moment of the day. There will always be folks who are unhappy with something and take it out with unhealthy actions.

The only in America label, made famous of course by Sir Big Hair, Don King, is usually used by other country's to show how petty and stupid Americans are, whilst, when used within the country, it is a sign of the undying will to succeed. Interesting, how the perspectives are very different.

Take care all.

No, he's very dead: :rolleyes2

A gunman who went on a rampage with a homemade armored bulldozer, demolishing buildings in the small town of Granby, Colorado, has died, apparently after shooting himself,(from that CNN article)
