An Instance

For an instance, all pain known vanished
The sorrow that plagued me was gone.
Though I had solved nothing,
Though I still had so many questions
And I was still so confused
Everything seemed to fit together
Into a beautiful tapestry.

A day of pondering, thinking,
Where thoughts pour all around you,
So drainging, left me happy.
When I accepted the confusion,
The fear and the pain was gone.

However, that was only an instance
That is now gone and vanquished.
Though I am happy that the experience,
However short it was,
Was there to give me a new hope.
A Hope to which I can someday overcome,
To beat back the evil within,
To finally break free of myself
And feel happy and free to be,
To just be me...

The War

My comrades will keep me safe
At the front lines of the battle.
My two closest, most trusted generals
Supporting my decisions
Making suggestions upon the tactics.

Mistakes have been made
And many battles I've lost.
But my army remains strong
And my generals remain loyal.
They are not only my comrades in battle
But my friends for an eternal time hereafter.

Strangly enough the battle, the entire war,
It was all going well, and it became visible
For a short while, our target, our destination.
And finally I reached it with their help...
But my stay was short lived.

The confusion of the battle left me vulnerable
And finally we were forced to retreat again
And now we stand again, closer now than before
But still far once again from our target.

Awsome! They're much more uplifting than your past poems. ;D I love your style.

Thank you very much. I'd explain these poems, but it'd take me wuite a while b/c there is a lot of specific events and thoughts behind them
