Episode 001: A Tale of Fate, A Tale of Destiny!
Tetsu Chan was a nomad of sorts. You never actually found the kid in one place. He was incredibly strong, physically and mentally, for his feeble age of 17. And of course, he used that power to his advantage on most occasions. When Tetsu was 12, he was out training with his all mighty father Ken, and he fell of a high cliff. When he was found, he was healed, but he lost all of his memory. Slowly, his parents helped him regain bits and peices of what he lost, but as time went by he began having memories that his parents never told him of. Memories of fire, pain, and death. When asked about these memories, he was told the shocking truth. Tetsu's real parents died in a fire years back, and he was adopted all of his life. After hearing this, he left his village and travelled along with his white horse, Sam.

At this one moment in time, Tetsu just so happened to be roaming through a thick forest. In the distance he could see the lights of a tavern, which was always a releif. Just as he approached the door of the tavern, he heard the thunder roll and could feel the rain begin to drip upon his face. He took one last look around and entered the tavern.

Inside, the place was dead. Only two people were inside, and one of them was the bartender. She smiled at him as he walked in, and her smile was like the sun. So bright and full of happiness, "Welcome to the Rainy Night Tavern and Inn!" He nodded and took a look over at the man sitting in the corner. He was wearing a long black hooded cloak, and had black hair. He glared up at Tetsu with cold eyes, causing Tetsu to divert his attention to the bar. He walked over and took a seat.

The lovely bartender moved her lush blonde hair from out in front of her face and grinned again, "What can I get you?"

Tetsu looked around, "Whiskey will do, on the rocks, exactly two cubes."

She raised an eyebrow and smirked, "Two cubes?"

He shook his head and smiled, "It's an obsessive thing." She nodded some and turned around to grab a bottle of whiskey. Expertly, and with ease, she grabbed a glass and poured the whiskey into it, then dropped exactly two ice cubes into the glass. They made a satisfying plink as they hit the bottomm of the glass. She then slid the glass over to Tetsu, and he wasted no time in taking a swig.

It also seemed like she was checking him out. Sure, maybe wearing a black ninja outfit with a sword tied to your back may be considered eccentric for a tavern, but so is a long black hooded cloak Tetsu thought to himself as he looked back at the figure in the corner. The bartender began to speak to him, "Nice sword."

He nodded, "The soul of the sword is what I have learned all my life, something my-" He stopped himself before the word father could leave his lips.

She looked confused, "Your...what?"

He sighed and replied, "My fake father."

Seeming to be interested in what he spoke of, she asked, "Not to be nosy, but what do you mean fake father?"

Tetsu took another swig of the whiskey and shook his head, "No, the story is too long to tell. I do appreciate your concern, but right now, I just want to drink and leave. You said this was an inn to right?"

Nodding she replied, "Yes, only 10 chips per night." Just as soon as she said this the thunder rolled once more, and realizing he did not want to brave the storm, Tetsu lied 9 large chips and two smaller chips down. She took the chips, and put them in the cash register, and then gave him a tag with the number 3 on it, "You get room 3. There is only 4 rooms, so it's lookin like you struck it lucky."

Smirking, the tender turned around and began dusting bottles. Her attention, as well as Tetsu's was diverted to the door as they heard it creak open. A man stood in the doorway, soaking wet from the pouring rain outside. His outfit was much like Tetsu's, only white, and he too had a sword. He was just standing there smirking, with eyes almost as cold as those of the man sitting in the corner. He shut the door behind him and walked himself to the bar, taking a seat one seat down from Tetsu.

The bartender smiled once more and said, "Hi welcome to-"

Before she could finish the man lied down 10 chips on the bar and smirked, "No need, I read the sign outside. I need a room."

After handing him a slip with the number 4 on it, she smiled, "Wow, this must be the first time in months that all four rooms have been filled up. Technically I guess theres only 3 since I always sleep in one."

The man held up his hand as if for her to hush and he said, "No need for small talk, ironic though isn't it?"

Tetsu looked over at him confused, "What's ironic?"

Laughing, he replied, "Ironic that all four of should meet here. Is it, accident? Is it fate? Or, perhaps it's destiny?"

Finally, after almost a half hour of sitting there, the man in the dark corner spoke with a low grumbly voice that sent chills down Tetsu's spine, "Or perhaps, your a nutjob who needs some sleep. I suggest you get to your room real quick because I ain't in the mood to put up with drunk prophets ruining my good day!"

The mystery man stood up from his bar stool and glared at the man in the corner, "Don't call me a prophet, I don't deserve that title. I am but a delivery boy for the true power, the true ruler of all that is mighty!" The lightning struck, making a large flash outside the window, and the thunder rolled once more. Everything outside was dark, but the rain could still be made out clear. At first it seemed as if the new guy was going to lash out, but he just sat back down and glared off into space.

Tetsu took his slip and noticed the key attached to it, and at this point the thought of simply forgetting everything and going to bed crossed his mind. The beautiful smiling bartender asked the new guy, "Can I get you anything?"

Grinning an evil grin, "Howabout your head on a plate? That's what I came here for, so that's what I should get!" Tetsu jumped up from his stool and glared down at the mystery man. He stared up at Tetsu and laughed, "The name is Kahn by the way!"

Tetsu shook his head, "I don't care what your name is, I'm starting to think you do need rest. I suggest you go to bed before any trouble is started."

At this point, Kahn stood up as well. He backed up a few steps, and then pulled out his sword. Tetsu pulled out his sword, but then the bartender jumped over the bar and pushed him back, "No friend, this is my fight." Sudenly, Tetsu saw in her shining eyes something he never saw in her previously...anger. Just as soon as he realized this she turned around, baring her teeth at Kahn. He was still smiling, even after the black aura began surrounding the bartender's body. The man in the corner stood up and walked over by Tetsu, simply to make sure the bartender wasn't hurt. Within seconds, her eyes turned blood red, and her fingers were replaced with claws, "I am the mighty Gaia, prepare to die."

Laughing, Kahn asked, "What is it you plan to do to me female?"

Where here teeth were, there was now bloodthirsty fangs, and she replied, "To rip you to peices!"

Sounds good. I like it. You have carefully thought about this and it shows. I can tell there's an elaborate plot in here somewhere. That nice bartender turning into a beastlike person was something I didn't see coming.

Episode 002: Kahn Versus Gaia, Showdown in the Rain!

The aura surrounding Gaia grew greater, and the thirst for blood grew in her eyes. For some reason, Tetsu got around to thinkin about Sam, who he then remembered was safely tied up in the stable outside. Then, another thought crossed his mind. The tavern was located in the middle of what seemed to be an endless forest, and there was no kind of hospital nearby. He turned around to look at the cloacked man, "Excuse me...mister?"

He kept a stern look on his face as he replied, "My name is Joseph, but you can call me Joe!"

Tetsu nodded and quickly replied, "That's great, now where is the nearest hospital in case either of these two end up hurting themselves?"

With a look of regret in his face, Joe replied, "I'm afraid that the nearest hospital is miles from here. If all you have is your horse, the trip for you should take up to 2 hours!"

Slamming his foot down, Tetsu yelled out, "DAMMIT!" As Tetsu and Joe's conversation drew to an end, Gaia lunged at Kahn with full speed, and before he could react she gave him a great slice with her claws. He flew back, but stayed on his feet. Without wiping off his grin he flew at her, drawing his sword and slicing. After multiple slices, he had only managed to hit air, for with every slice that he lunged at her with, she jumped back.

Eventually, she was backed up against a wall. Kahn lunged at her a last time, but with the reflexes of a cat she ran up the wall, kicked off of it, and with a mid-air backflip she landed behind him gracefully. He spun around, only to get his sword kicked straight out of his hands. It maid a chink sound as it peirced the ceiling of the tavern, hanging there out of Kahn's reach...or so it seemed.

Kahn laughed, "You think that will stop me?" He closed his eyes and pointed his open hand towards the ceiling in which the sword stuck. A blue aura surounded it, and it flew from it's spot and into his hands. This didn't prevent Gaia from lunging forward again, but with little or no effort, Kahn swung his sword and sliced her across her chest. Tetsu and Joe watched as she landed on her knees in front of him.

She felt her chest with her hand, and then looked at it...soaked in her own blood. Her anger rose even greater, but before she could speak, Kahn smirked, "Give up when you still can." Still smirking, he drew back his foot, and gave a hard kick to her stomach that sent her flying through the front door of the tavern. She landed in the mud with a splash and lied there, letting the rain pour down on her. Kahn walked towards the door, but Tetsu jumped in front of him.

Gaia sat up and tried hard to get onto her feet. She managed to do so, and hollered to Tetsu, "No fool, let him pass. This is my fight." Tetsu resisted for a moment, and then let Kahn pass him.

Joseph ran out of the door and slowly took steps towards Gaia, "Gaia, are you okay?" He stepped closer and closer to her, and she seemed to be almost dead standing up. Her head hung low, as well as her arms. Slowly, very slowly. Just as he was inches from her, the rain seemed to stop, no...it did stop. Everything was dead silent, almost like the calm before a more severe storm. And that was that, in a burst of light, the lightning struck the ground right where Gaia stood, and she exploded into a burst of light, and her eyes rolled into the back of her head.

Looking more worried, Kahn slowly stepped outside. The burst of energy from Gaia had knocked Joseph back. Kahn stood in front of her. He drew his sword once more, and sliced towards Gaia. Not caring about the blade cutting into her skin, she grabbed the sword in mid-swing and pulled it up, bringing Kahn up with it. She used the sword almost as a swing, to launch Kahn into a nearby tree. Just as he hit the three, she threw the sword at him full speed, peircing him directly in the chest. He stood there, pinned to the tree.

Wasting no time, Gaia ran at him, pouding her fists into his gut. Left, right, left, right. Simultaneous punches to the stomach showered Kahn, and she finished off her chain of blows with a high spin kick directly to Kahn's head. Finally, she took a moment to breathe. The rain continued to pour down on the two of them, as it's silence had seemed to be broken by Gaia's rage. The aura surrounding her faded, and her eyes returned to normal. Her claws retracted to fingers, and her fangs returned to teeth. She stood there, staring at Kahn pinned to the tree. Tetsu and Joe came up behind her, putting their hands on her shoulder. She turned her back to Kahn and began to walk towards the tavern.

Once more the rain stopped. Kahn opened his eyes, and smirked. Somehow, Gaia felt it, and she turned around to meet his gaze. Already, he was standing straight and his sword was in his hands, covered in his blood. Grinning slyly he said, "Never turn your back to a rival, your out of power now aren't you?"

She didn't reply, but deep inside she knew she was, "What do you intend to do?"

He pulled a rag from his pocket, and slowly wiped the blood from his sword, "I don't want to kill you, because it would be unfair. I wan't to take what you hold dear." Now that she was back to normal, Tetsu could see the lovely blonde that he first saw, but in her face he saw fear. He didn't know what was coming next, but he knew this battle was far from over.
