FINAL FANTASY XII Image Analization

Here are images for FF XII. I know you have seen some of these already, but there might be some you haven't yet. We can analyze what we see in these images here.

Well, the first two pictures are pretty generic images of Ashie, the game's heroine. She's mainly clad in white, but with armour, and wields a sword - perhaps some kind of holy knight, a paladin? Maybe a white mage who doesn't like staffs. She certainly looks a lot less like FFX's Yuna in the first picture.

That third picture is really interesting. There's another character visible, the
lady(?) at the left - she's a bit under-dressed, it seems, but well armoured. Exotic hair - possibly a character who's not fully human. There are no character stats visible on the screen, so I don't think it's a battle screenshot - yet the characters' weapons and shields are visible. This is certainly a first for a Final Fantasy game... could be another of the similarities to Vagrant Story that were hinted at. Looks like Vaan has a sword, too - that clears up a bit of confusion, no-one was really sure what his weapon was.

Wait a sec, the pictures all look the same as before, still... just the names are different :confused:

Edit: That battle screenshot's new, though. Standard HP/MP setup, but now they show current and maximum stats - just like in the old days. A permanent status window is a nice feature, too. Pity about that fireball, it's blocking out the face of the third character, the new one nobody's mentioned yet...

Loads of airships? Masive armys? somebody remind me why im not hacking the sqenix computers right now?

I was never really that interested with ffX, IX or VIII (I never really liked snes but i got the games on playstation) but I really like the theme going on here.

The mysterious character is a veria (sp?) like the ones in FFTA also there will be Bangas too.

Yeah and her name is Fran according to that one battle screen.

Yeah! It is a good thing that Ashe does not look like Yuna! In fact, Ashe looks much better, don't you think??

Yeah. I especially like her mini skirt... she looks very cute.

Ashe is really pretty :) I thought Vaan was a girl at first :(
