number one i havent finished tactics yet so thanx for the spoiler, and two is 12 going to be a sequel to tactics?

It's not really much of a spoiler. I mean, they're not going to live longer than the normal lifespan of a human and this is LONG after FFT. Think about it.

And not a direct sequel, as far as we know. It takes place in Ivalice, yes, but it uses more elements from FFTA.

but which Ivalice is this based off? FFT's Ivalice is vastly different, I'm noticing, from FFTA's.

FFXII's Ivalice is probably the one that inspired Mewt Randell to think up FFTA's Ivalice, which was a product of his imagination combined with his memories of Final Fantasy games. The two worlds are therefore similar but separate. VS's Ivalice seems to be the same as that of FFT's, so that makes just three different Ivalices overall.

Totally. Just like Raiden from MGS2, in Japan they loved him, outside of Japan, we hated him. Well, I didn't hate him, but I sure like Snake a lot more.
