Lost in the desire of longing
Wanting the unattainable,
I'm left to walk alone again
Past the questionable desire.
Guiding the remnants of my heart,
I kick away the loose stones of the gravel,
Tearing the path I've walked for centuries.
Yet now, the desire lingers in front of me,
Enticing me to it, wanting me to take it,
But it stays just beyond my reach.
'less the stars shine brightly upon me,
To guide my path in the right direction,
I will wander along this lonely dirt road
Towards my fate of desolate end.
Still inside doubt exists,
And so I persist,
Towards my longing desire
Hoping that it will come to me,
Allowing me to grasp it
To pull towards me
To guide me down a different,
Hopefully, better path.
Untill then, I will doubt my own desire,
By doing so, I will deny my own internal existence.
Wanting the unattainable,
I'm left to walk alone again
Past the questionable desire.
Guiding the remnants of my heart,
I kick away the loose stones of the gravel,
Tearing the path I've walked for centuries.
Yet now, the desire lingers in front of me,
Enticing me to it, wanting me to take it,
But it stays just beyond my reach.
'less the stars shine brightly upon me,
To guide my path in the right direction,
I will wander along this lonely dirt road
Towards my fate of desolate end.
Still inside doubt exists,
And so I persist,
Towards my longing desire
Hoping that it will come to me,
Allowing me to grasp it
To pull towards me
To guide me down a different,
Hopefully, better path.
Untill then, I will doubt my own desire,
By doing so, I will deny my own internal existence.
