If I had any shame or self-restraint I'd either leave it as the first stanza or create more (or get a better f-ing title), but I'm lazy and figure any public display of writing is indulgent as it is, so here ya go.

Blinding and Unconscious
You're a brilliant impersonator in your red bull target
Foraging for food in supermarkets
Your hat is like a beak with a giant X to mark the spot
And all the people falling from the steeple is all you're got
You got checked up often and you didn't regret one of them
But you should disconnect your phone because here they come again...
You tried to judge a vulture by its colour
And willed a broken payment to another
They shut the blinds and locked you out
And you sat outside smoking pensively
It was after 1 am and you felt more like talking about life
They'd better look out if you ever get back in
Because your blindness is your undoing
And you'd be more willing with your friends
When they're all dying and messing with your head
In the sunlight when lights going out are quite a find
Because violent notions like to run across your mind
Now you're a pork chop and you're so sweet and nice
And you go to anyone you can to seek out advice
You're full of yourself and every day has its cocaine
When it's a room temperature IQ playing on your brain
They're not all the right ones for you once again
If untrue Newfoundlanders can treat you like a game
And everybody cries once in a while going around
You'd go for contact just to hear an unfamiliar sound
You were corraled and broken thirty-seven
With no chance to give another try at being seventeen
It was coming up on 2 and you hadn't the conversation
So you sat in the bedframe shamefully pining
You were careful to shine carefully
And you were willing and open-minded socially
But they all went for pins and somebody else's attention
From the introspection of 3 am to the neon daily grind
Because violent notions like to run across your mind
