Dignified Pauper

Stuck in a rut, she slips away
Towards madness, night and day.
Following her sickened, dirty lover
Poverty plagues the constant mother.
Along she's drug by the chain
Of daughterly love, against the pain.
The mother abuses, taking for granted
The blessing she's given and making stranded.
Alone she feels, 'hind her shell
With no where to turn, in silent hell,
Her mother guides her away from light,
Darkening her future, creating her plight.
The new man, the temporary solution
To problems caused by mind's polution.
The daughter now gives up hope
Leaving herself with nothing to cope.
That sickening man, that dirty addiction
He's given the mother, making an addition
To the market of his nasty ways
And spreading influence to other's these days.
Now the son comes with a promising sign
Attempting to free his sister from the binds
Of the mother who's condemned them both
To live with an angry, scornful loath....
However, the son is only so strong,
And is weakened by the sight.
The mother's darkness consumes,
Overpowering his strength to shine light...
So now he weeps away in fright,
Praying for his mother and sister's fight...
He'll try his best to help them both
And stop the darkness in its growth...
Towards madness, night and day.
