Imp/Mage/Bomb/Cockatris?

I know that you need to kill one and hope that you will get them, but Ive been fighting Imp's for ages and only managed to get the 3rd rarest Item, is there an easier way?

Not unless you're willing to use cheat codes. There's a 1/64 chance you'll get the summons from those battles normally.

I've <i>heard</i> that you get the summon from the 'harder' versions of the monsters. Go after the Dark Imps in the underworld and see if that helps at all.

You can get them from any version of the monster. The 1/64 doesnt change though. You can even get them from the Trickster Imps on the moon.

I believe that there's only ONE Tricker imp in the moon, near the last save point.

There's quite a lot, actually. I think they're only in one or two rooms, but you can run into them plenty. And of course they only attack in singles.

Really? That's something I didn't knew, I and I always thought that I was like a FF4 master, or something like that... I guess I'll look around a little.

Tricksters are found all over in the room where you try to find the pink flan, the ones that give you more adamant.

If I fight 1 Imp and I have a 1/64 chance of getting the summon then what is the chance if I fight 8 Imps?

I believe it would be 8/64, but my math is no good (really, that's not sarcasm there). But yes, the bigger the group, the better the chance.

Well go figure it out then. Every enemy you battle has a certain chance they'll drop something. If you battle 8 of the enemies, they all have the same chance, but over all the chances you'll get it are higher cause there's more of them.
