Blue Magic

apparently, not many walkthroughs mention about obtaining Big Guard...

anyone out there who places emphasis on getting Blue magic?

Actually, the Brady stategy guide I used was really adamant on obtaining "Mighty Guard" before entering the CoD.

As for myself, I wasn't huge on learning blue magic, since I used it so little and much of it cost quite a bit of MP. However, I did find Mighty Guard quite helpful, and AquaRake was one of my best friends early on in the game.

Blue Mages rock. Because they're blue. And they're mages.

Control the mopnster stingray near the waltz tower waters. Then hav him cast big gaurd.

Alot of the spells are quite handy. I try to learn as much Blue Magic as possible when I play.

A good guide to help with this is at FF:WA, which tells you what to get when. I get Blue Magic constantly, because I need to be the best, heh.
