What was that screamin for? Spoilers

Before you fight [SPOILERS] Necron there's all that screaming. Why?

All the screaming is because your at the hill of despair, basically your in the world of the dead and all the background screams are souls of dead people, cause it ain't fun being dead.

*SPOILERS*


"Necron" means death, and before you fight him, there are these screams of death as well as suffering, agony, pain, despair... well, you got the point. They're voices of suffering, coming from the great beyond, from the place where Zidane & co and the whole world will be going if the group fails to stop Necron. The place where you fight Necron is "The Hill of Despair", by the way.

How did you find that out?

By reading game scripts and especially by using common sense.

Not to mention when you're in the menu screen choosing/equipping your characters, the location written down is "Hill of Dispair..."

The screaming...? I think it's many, many rabid fangirls baying for Zidane's blood, wanting to torture him with various sugared snacks becaue he's just beat up on their ever-famous thong-wearing feathery bishie... ;)
