Just wondering...

If you used a cheat system like GameShark or X-Plode on Final fantasy 2 and there was a 9999 cheat (To make you're guys really tough) would you be able to beat the dark knights at the start and if so would there be extra scenes??

Well, I've never tried this myself, but I have wondered. First off, you'd need more than just HP, you'll never be able to actually kill them with your starting stats. You'll have to raise up you attack power just to hit them. What I would imagine is that if you do kill them you're not going to get any new scene or anything, the game would continue as if you lost. That scene is designed so that there is no way (besides cheating) of winning, so there wouldn't be any contingency scene programmed into it.

It is intriguing, though. I think I'll try this out on my emulator when I get home.
