So, it adds on to the end of FF9, how much? And if not what other purpose does it have? Any other items like this?

The extra ending isn't very much, I think like 5 seconds during the play scene.

I heard Save the queen...oh well, it's not like you have much time with it

It's for manufacturing Tin Armor... but if you do that, you miss out on a small but intriguing twist in the play during the ending.

What actually was the twist, I never bothered to get the short version, and I wasn't really paying attention to the play given what had just happened.

When I first beat the game me and my friend were awestruck.
