The strat I found said to use vile scar on its body, which does like two damage. Then I have my shortsword with full DP, and quite a bit of the other stuff that does around three damage, plus that one chain that does like 70% of original damage and one that restores like 40% HP of original damage.

technically, yes... it is playable with one hand. Besides the parts where you have to jump forward. But the battles can be done with one hand.

As for if it's worth $16... yea, I guess so. I found the battle system way too annoying and the areas way to bland, but the story seemed pretty cool. But yea, the battle system is the real kicker. I think it's so freaking boring, so I didn't play long. But $16 won't break the bank, so go ahead.

Vagrant Story's gameplay is one of those things you either love or hate I've discovered. Some people absolutely love it, while others like me loathe it. However, it has the best plot for any game Square has done except maybe Xenogears which I haven't played yet.

I have read several, reading Neuromancer right now. I need some variety though.

In my humble yet honest opinion, Vagrant Story is brilliant - it's remarkably deep, although it admittedly takes a long time to get into it.

I paid $6.95 for my copy - ex-rental all the way. Oh, and that's $6.95 in New Zealand dollars - about four bucks US.

Working out the value in US DOllars I got my copy for $2.95.. :D

For $16? Frick yeah. Shoot, I paid full price for the thing when it first came out; I think it's one of the best non-FF games Square has done thus far.

Vagrant Story isnt worth the cd its printed on. It's crap.

I bought it for fifteen dollars. Haven't touched it, yet.
