I cast my vote for Joseph. My reasons would be spoilers, but needless to say, he gives more to the cause than most of your temp characters. I was tempted to vote for Leon simply because his role in the Origins intro FMV was so cool, but I opted otherwise.

I chose Firion I always enjoy beating him up so he gets more HP's and endurance :D
