have you ever had a main character in a FF game, where they did something stupid in the game, or in battle, like miss, when you KNOW theres no way they could miss, or do like, 2 damage when THEY HAVE NEVER DONE SOOOO POORLY (exception: shell, protect, or defensive spells of that nature)
I personally wanted to beat ramza to death in tactics, when he did 2 damage, using throwstone, when he never does less than 28 (hes high level)
OR does one of the main characters just, really, really piss you off, to an extent unknown to those around you

He looks like a girl, he sounds like a girl, he does cartwheels like a girl (Spiral Cut), he can't keep his footing like a girl (Slice and Dice), he handles his sword like a girl when he throws it around everywhere, and he whines like a girl. Sure, he had good reason to whine about some things, but I don't have to like it. His only saving grace is his time magic, but anyone can learn that.

TidaRalique 05-01-2003, 12:22 AM Cloud. Though he wasn't the worse main character, compared to my favorites (The clashing personalities of Tidus and Squall come to mind) I just didn't like him much. Maybe because Cloud didn't seem as realistic as Tidus or Squall (but all three <i>did</i> mature into grown men), and by realistic I mean, I couldn't compare myself to him. So, even though I could understand how he felt through out the game, there wasn't a major connection between myself and Cloud.

Yuna is simply weak, lacking the sense and prowess to fend for herself without her bevy of guardians. It's sad really, that they made her the main character, whilst they simply let Lulu rot in the background. Disappointing.

I wouldn't have minded assassinating Cait Sith for this very reason.
I was fighting the Materia Keeper in Mount Nibel with Sith, Tifa, and Cloud. I was doing very well against until Cait Sith hits his limit. At this point I have Slots learned so I use his limit and take my chances. Lo and behold I bring up the combonation that rids me of my other two party members and now I'm fighting with a huge Cait Sith that I can't control! Now, the huge Cait Sith was doing alot of damage, but it never healed itself and eventually the Materia Keeper destroyed me. Thus, I had to restart the battle all over. Caith Sith never entered my party again in that particular game.
