Rosa or Rydia: who's the better heroine?

For those who love FFIV: who do you think is the better heroine? I love Rydia, and I guess you all can assume what my opinion is, but what are your opinions? Who's better-Rosa or Rydia?

Wow, i've never really thought about it, but its a good question...

I guess I'd have to say Rosa, although Rydia and her summons and black magic are strong, i would have never survived the final battle without Rosa's white magic. She kept my party alive and semi-functional while Cecil, Kain, and Edge whailed away at Zeromous...

Rosa was all "Save me Cecil" through the whole game. I'm going with Rydia.

Rosa's more useful in battle, but I liked Rydia's personality better. Rosa was too prone to being sick and/or kidnapped. Sure, Rydia was kind of weak too, but she was a little kid, so it was acceptable. After she grows up, she's a lot more independent and whatnot than Rosa.

Rosa. Because although she probably was a whiny little 5-year old, we never got to see it.

Maybe Rosa just had no immune system. . .maybe all she needed was to be placed in a plastic bubble to keep germs out.

Anyway, Rydia kicks ass. I choose her.

I though Edge was the best Heroine.

I say in battle they work very well together. Your party isn't truly complete with only one of them active!

Story wise, I found Rydia a lot more interesting.

I agree that both of them are essential to the party, but Rydia shows women in a more positive light...am I right here..? She's so cool and independent. Also...she may have like, the lowest hp, but she kicks arse.

Edge is a cissy? Never thought of that. He's just a goof-ball.:D That's what I think.

Rydia has way more guts, and green-haired girls generally rule all anyway...

there is a big difference between them but I like the summon monsters so Rydia got my vote

I'm obviously biased when I say this, but I think Rydia is the better of the two because her offensive magic is effective in battle. I also like her personality and her sad past makes her a well-rounded character.

Yes. Rydia's past was sad. Her poor mom died, and as you think about it, Rosa had a pretty easy-going life; and because Rydia's was sad, you can't help but love her more.

Rydia rules. Rosa lacked personality. Plus, My two favorite fighting techniques are Black Magic and Summoning, so it's obvious who I think is better.

I like Rosa better because if everyone else is dead/dying and the boss is about to do another crazily powerful attack you can have Rosa cast Life2/Cure4 and your party will be able to keep fighting and you can do that last 6000 damage.

If Rydia was in that same situation the best she could do for the party would be to cast Sylph or Drain, which only restore a small amount of HP. Everyone would be dead before she could finish casting any of her strong spells.

Game wise I think it would be hard to play without Rosa as she is the main healer and reviver, but character wise Rydia has got the best personallity.

I personally like Rydia better. She has more character depth, in my opinion, due to ...

Rydia by far. She was just a much better character than Rosa, Rosa was much too stereotypical.
