Blades, I have always like swords and stuff.

Bladed weapons are great... practical, efficient, aesthetically pleasing.

I like 'novelty' weapons, though... the idea of using a magically animated stuffed toy to smite one's foes is just neat. As is Relm's way of sketching a powerful magic image of an opponent. It makes combat that much more interesting and creative.

One must wonder why weapon stores would stock their shelves with toys, palettes and megaphones, though...

swords rock this world from here to gaia.

I usually prefer bladed weapons, but it depends on the game. In Tactics, guns own everything, but in any other game they're just a normal projectile weapon.

I vote swords on account of flexibility. If you need to, you can make a sword into a projectile weapon. It's good for emergency long-distance fighting and perfect for hand-to-hand combat.

Not here because this is a weapons poll. Out of your suggestions I don't think they'd be a weapon. Vivi carries a rod/staff/whatever as his weapon, but using magic as his main offensive force.

But, I like swords. Yet said 'novelty' weapons kick major ass.

Sorry to be unoriginal, but blades are by far the :bou::bou::bou::bou:, especially huge broadswords and katanas......I recently acquired a katana actually......I love it! *swings new katana menacingly around the room* :radred:

Favourite all time weapon? Would have to be the Masamune in FFX, it just looks PAINFUL! :radred:

I don't remember what Edea did, but Bullet is Barret.

Barrets hand is not a projectile. Maybe the bullets being fired out of his gun are but by that logic the knife that someone throws would qualify their hand as a projectile...or something like that. Also that gun on his arm is not a hand.

If guns that shoot bullets are projectile weapons, then hands that shoot bullets are projectile weapons. And sure it's a hand--just a gun-hand. It begins from his right arm where his wrist is on his left arm, so it it's just as big as a hand. Even if you want to call it a gun, Edea's hand is still a projectile weapon.

I have trained in using a spear, so blades defenately. I have my own spear. Come TAKE ME ON!!:cool:

Blades. Throughout Final Fantasy every rests with the blade. But, what's the GunBLADE is that a blade or a projectial, cause that is the coolest weapon of anything.

The gunblade is a blade, not a projectile, in the subcategory of "stupid."

Well, a gunblade has a blade, but also fires projectiles - so really, it could fit into both categories.

But then, there's plenty of room for <s>whinging</s> informed debate on that topic...

The "dark swords" are just katana.

I chose blades but just because Katana's are in that category, I like samurai swords ^_^

Books are the best weapons ever, hands down. Especially in FF3.

I say the Masamune in ANY game that it is in. The Ragnarok is good. The Holy Lance and Blood Spear for FF4 were good. I remember a rune staff that was alright in one of the FF's. Good old bare fisted for the Karate Master's kicked ass. And anybody who can throw typically doesn't need equipment IMO
