Favorite Secret of Mana character?

For those who have played Secret of Mana (Seiken Densetsu 2), who is your favorite character in the game? My favorites are the girl and the sprite. I like the girl because she's brave and strong-willed, and I like the sprite because she's so cute!:)

well of course she is. if they made the only female playable character timid and wishy-washy then there would be a bunch of people complaining that it's sexist.

Well, not just sexist, but if she was timid, she wouldn't have been in the game, would she?

Or Geshtar. Geshtar's pretty cool too.

But Thanatos is just so damn evil...

And I consider the Mana Beast to be 100% busy work...

Why couldn't they just cut it after Thanatos instead of making you fight his ass?

Thanatos was probably my favorite character in the game. He was a good villian, his battle sprite kicked ass, and his battle theme was just amazing.

Also, yes, the Sprite is a boy.

Boy, girl, doesn't matter. The sprite was called "it" most of the time, so I just chose either gender while naming it. Also, you have to admit that the sprite looks too much like a little girl. Even more so than most bishounen characters. I still like to see the sprite as a girl, even if its a boy (please don't think me crazy:p ).
Well, no matter what, the sprite is still adorable.

I always think of the sprite as a girl too, though it's probably innate stereotyping since he's got pink hair.

I wouldn't say any of the 'characters' in Secret of Mana are very interesting, as, as much as I love the game, I'd have to say that the storyline was wafer thin to the max. I'd opt for Thanatos I guess.
