-the glass just is.
-Bruckner is one of the great and highly misunderstood musical geniuses of all time. Hail him because he lived life on his own terms and wrote music he wanted to write regardless of what others said. Besides, hailing Bruckner is fun.

This Guy
-esstlinc doesn't mean anything. maybe it does but I don't know since it's not my screenname.
-Michael McCarney is the secret identity of a certain EoFF member. I don't feel like saying anything else since he would disapprove of my saying anything more.
-Fabio is incredibly funny. He's also one big hunka man. By vines I assume you mean tentacles. I think the attraction to tentacles is rather self-explanatory, although it is among other things a homage to the erstwhile Tentacle Penetration Party.
-You hail Bruckner by typing the following: *hails Bruckner* You can also listen to his music if you feel so inclined.

Timbit
-This would have to be a one-on-one-on-one multiplayer Age of Empires Rise of Rome game between some college friends and me where I won at the end with only three population. Towards the end all that was left was one ballista, a trireme, two composite bowman, and a villager until my ballista randomly ran into my remaining opponents last two bowman hiding on a small island and shot them dead. This was the ultimate eternal struggle. A close second would be completing the master level of all three leagues of the original SNES F-Zero.

Chocolate or Vanilla?

I'm all for old school, but why Fabio?

eestlinc

chocolate or vanilla? strawberry.

Fabio is just funny. The fact that people idolize Fabio is laughable and we are just highlighting this silliness.

You are the first person I have asked questions to in these. How do you feel about that? How do you pronounce eestlinc? Do you like gravy or butter on mashed potatoes? Do you like Moombas? What is the meaning of HAME? How do you feel about random questions with no purpose just being thrown at you? :fd:

These orange guys are the Moombas eestlinc, they are a evalutionary step of the Shumi tribe. If a Shumi evolves but doesn't become the leader, they become a Moomba instead. Moombas can't say a whole lot and they like to help out people. Just an FYI :)

eestlinc
03-28-2003, 11:04 AM
-that's super. I hope you remember me as your first.

-it's pronounced just like it's spelled, in two syllables. East Link. Except it's neither east nor link but eestlinc and has nothing to do with either of those words.

-I like mashed potatoes plain, but I would choose gravy over butter.

-I don't know what moombas are. I haven't played ff8 and I gather they only exist in that game. I suppose I would like them if I were to play ff8.

-HAME is the incarnation of evil as represented in the ham-swiss-mayonnaise school fieldtrip bag lunch hegemony.

-random questions are fine. I like all questions.

Are you really planning to go to Finland?
Are you still married to Dr Unne?

eestlinc
03-28-2003, 07:56 PM
-I have no current plans to move to Finland, but it would be nice. I at least want to get a nice vacation over there.

-I am currently estranged from Brian for some reason. He must be upset that I only have one nostril.

-Yea, Cincinnati is just super. Actually the weather is great right now.

Fiend
-Well, as far as pop groups go, my favorite is the Beastie Boys. I also like Björk a lot. I could tell you that my favorite composers are Mahler and Stravinsky, but I thought I'd go for some variety.

This Guy
-Those two guys are Eric Garza and Rob Hilton, also known as the badass dj duo Thievery Corporation. They make some great albums that mix jazz and world beats with standard downtempo techno and hip hop. Quite good. The avatar theme is also a play on when I used to be "avatar thief" and steal other people's avatars.

Leeza
-Nope, I don't currently have such a recipe, but I think I should make one. Maybe a salmon-cucumber salad with a spicy peanut sauce.
-When I leave this world I want to be remembered for being one of the great composers of all time.
-When I leave EoFF I'd like to just be remembered as someone who made everything a little more interesting.

Fiend
-I like fruit pies. My favorite is Key Lime Pie.

bennator0
-I don't know. I drink bottled water most of the time. 69 cents for 1.5 liters of great canadian spring water from Wild Oats.

-I have a little extra in the torso.
-I would probably be your friend if we ever talked or lived near each other.
-I already laid claim to liking Key Lime Pie.
-Well, I am secretly involved in a Sean-BOU-eest yaoi triangle, so I can't ban them. Scottie doesn't like Bruckner and has a less-onomontopoeic name than Shluppers. Scottie it is.
-I am Catherine Carper, beautiful single-nostrilled supermodel wife to Dr Unne.
-wuss is not a nickname of mine. I am cool. I freakin' rawk.
-My rhymes are so fat I gotta go on a diet
-yes. *rasies hand*

How could you not know Michael McCarney's physical form?

Do you ever yell really loud, float into the air a little and turn blond with blue eyes?

How do you feel about taking my "answering questions in these things" virginity?

What are you going to do if I get pregnant?

Why the HELL do you like FF5?

Which translation do you like better: The ROM, or the official Squaresoft one?

Why haven't you come and seen me yet?

If you go to Finland, will you please punch Nait for me?

oh, I am now a Knoxman...

-Physical knowledge is not enough without carnal knowledge.
-all the time. I'd do it right now except its after 3 am and the dingos are sleeping. You know what happens when I wake them...
-I enjoy taking your virginity Paul. It makes me scream:
I LIKE LINUX AND
GETTING KICKED IN
THE BALLS AND FACE
-I will move to Knox-ville and be your daddy.
-five is the coolest of all the ff games. It has the highest percentage of female characters, turtles, gilgamesh, legendary weapons, and random superboss encounters. It is fun to play too.
-I like the ROM translation because it's more fun, but the official SS trans is also good if you ignore the bad name changes and the salsa crap. Not that I don't love salsa too...
-I will if you ask nicely enough.
-Done and done. And I mean done. Mik and I will get liquored up and beat Nait with a cat-o-base-nine-tails

-Bruckner is foremost.

Mik
-yes, no kidding.

This Guy
-I don't feel like writing a dissertation of Bruckner right now, especially since I have done so in other posts here in the past. His name is Anton Bruckner. I'm sure you can do a google search and get some good information.

Fiend
-Poland is nice, I suppose
-In The Third Man Orson Welles's character makes fun of Switzerland for doing nothing but being peaceful and making cuckoo clocks. It's a great movie (and book I suppose, Graham Greene and all) so that's what I have to say on that.
-Lithuania wasn't a country when I learned geography first so I have mixed feelings about it.

In FF5, did you beat Omega?

eestlinc
03-31-2003, 05:51 AM
-No I haven't beaten Omega or Shinryuu. I never really saw the point in superhard bosses that require insane levelling and silly "make everyone a lancer with a coral ring and be completely boring" strategies to beat them. If I cant beat a monster through skillful combat with the same party I face everything else, then there's not much fun. I did enjoy Ozma because he simply reqired strategy, perserverence, and a little luck.

I hope this isn't my last question....
