I'm not sure if the crew who's going to actually be online today wants a separate party thread from the gender swap thread, so I'm just going to create a Happy 3rd thread and sticky it.

For the duration of the celebration, we'll be more lenient on spam, but bear in mind that when it's over, the spam threads won't just be closed, they'll be deleted (by myself), so save anything you think is worth saving.

Anyways; Leena = Gareas, for the Gender Swap Event. If the crew who's online wants a separate Gender Swap thread, that info can be transferred over.

Personally, I think anyone participating in this Staff-sponsored party thread should get a gender swap regardless ;)

Well this is my first year at EoFF....I wasn't even here at this time last year....But the last 10 months or somthing have been great....

Almost 2 years and half for me ... unless you don't count the last year (and half?) I was inactive (rarely posting) ;) But at least I've been here for each of the anniversaries :)

3 years ... things changed a lot since the time I was active, too ;) (which was already different from the first few months on EZBoard)
One thing that never changed, though, was the color scheme ... old but still great :D

The reason I want do delete the spam threads is because massively sized threads (apparently) put a lot of strain on the database; I don't quite understand it myself.

My plan was to move all of the spam threads to one private forum, and then do selective prunes to remove everything but the absolute funniest moments in each thread, and then merge all the threads into one "memorial" thread.

That sounds like it would take a while.

How would you determine which parts are the funniest? I don't think we've had any hang gliding cats yet.

Well, even though I have been here for only a year and 10 months, I have this seen this place grow because I know edczxcvbnm. And that first year thing WAS crazy!

I've nearly been here for two years so it's good to still be part of EoFF.

The First Anniversary was definately one crazy day. I just remember waking up to an offline message on Y!M from Robbie telling me to get my butt on the forums. Heh.

3rd year, that implies spawning at the tender year of 99'! That means I joined up....err....I dunno, a year after? I don't even remember when I joined this place.

All I know is a lot of things has happened, and a lot of things haven't changed. Kudos for the veterans for staying, especially Scottie.
