it would also be cool if they had more charectors.

It said such summon monsters as Ifrit and Carbunkle may be usable *does dance for glee*

Do we have to pay more for the disk or what? I think its unfair that way since we didnt even get the original and patches and they get an expansion already.

Best rumors say that they're going to add the Samurai, Ninja, Geomancer(?) and Summoner classes.

Also, it's been known as Girade's Phantom and Vision of Girade. Nobody can really give any 100% sure translation.

As far as I know Summoner class is confirmed to be on the new expansion pack as far I hear along with new terroritories. www.ffozone.com has info on expansion. They also have actual players who play the imported game. So we may hear news on them seeing summons in game.
I would think since this patch is being added to game before we get it in USA that we won't pay a dime for it. It would only make sense to have all newest patches already on game when we get it. Alot of it like upgrades are needed.

Okay heres the deal, they added Summoner, Samurai, Dragoon, and Ninja, I don't know much but there is another level breaker for those high levels. They also have Tonberry's and king Tonberry's who hoo, also there are cactuars to mutilate us. Tonberry's have a special attack that will almost kill you (Karma?), and to clear up the summons I know there is Shiva, Siren, Ifrit, Carbuncle, and Titan. It just came out in Japan (great...) about three days ago, so we will know more soon.

Everyone knows this stuff because we've been talking about it on an actually active FFXI forum... you don't think anyone who's anyone still posts here do ya?

And to answer that other n00b's question, Dragoon = Dragoon, dragoon's use lances, they are called dragon knights, have a jump ability, and yada yada

Lancer = dragoon. They were called lancers in FFT, and I think I heard somewhere that in the Japanese games they've always been called lancers.

They should have added blue mage as well. That's been a feature in all the FF's I've played.

I've seen that there were gonna be alot more summons than applied in the magazine.
like leviathan, bahamut, siren, odin, phoenix, hades...
Maby these summons are rumors, maby not...
i know atleast that gilgamesh is going to be in FFXI & exp.
