On a religious level, I believe that there is indeed some higher power out there, but I don't feel it's my place to try and define what it is or give it a name. Does that technically make me agnostic?

I believe that each religion out there has just interpreted whatever this greater power is differently, but each are worshipping the same thing, just in different ways. Well, I'm not a counselor, nor a clairvoyant. All I can say is that optimism is a good thing. Perhaps I'm an optimist to a fault, but I generally think that if you keep a positive outlook on things, it can only help. You can see things much more clearly if you keep your head up and look forward, than looking down and thinking only about how horrid things are right now. Sometimes you have to swallow your pride, take a deep breath and move forward, despite how much you want to cling to one thing or another; relationships, ideals, projected goals. You roll with the punches and all that.

If I knew how to do that, I wouldn't sit at home all day... Well, as far as meeting new people out in the wide open world. In general, I suppose the best thing to do would be to be friendly, intelligent and polite. That's a good start.
How to keep friends?
Continue being friendly, intelligent and polite? Whatever you do, don't try to impress your friends consciously. Hearing someone blab on about how great they are and this accomplishment and that super thing they did gets old pretty fast. Not to say that you can't be proud of what you do! You should absolutely. But a good way to lose friends is to be an arrogant ass. I've seen it happen.

As long as I could bring everyone I wanted, and they wanted to go without me forcing them, and as long as we could adequately communicate, then sure. The ocean seems a lot more peaceful. Not only that, but there's a lot of cool freaky-looking coral down there. And I could swim around the Titanic, laughing.

Hmm... One thing I don't like about EoFF are the occasional members we get who don't respect the opinions of other members or staff. Especially when they don't respect the speakings of Staff, because it's sad to see someone "shoot themselves in the foot" like that, so to speak. Of course, when I refer to the speakings of the Staff, I mean warnings, etc. Not opinions.
