Baha'i, because I don't know anything about it. Everything I know about Shinto leads me to believe that it's mostly wrong, so Baha'i is a bit in the lead.

I want to program low-level crap like device drivers or something. Pretty much anything but web design, which I hardly consider programming (except for the database part of it, which I dislike), or game programming (which everyone wants to do, and also which seems to be more about pretty graphics than actual programming). I want to be as low-level as possible without actually writing in pure assembler language, which I don't like too much. C programming is my goal.

I believe in the lack of meaning in things in general, and I believe the world and the people in it behave in a purely random manner. I believe that there are tons of things that are beyond human understanding, and that there are tons of things within human understanding but that we haven't found yet. To keep it short, I don't believe there is a god or any being higher than mankind. I have examined Buddhism and Judaism, and I don't believe in them either. I have plenty of unanswered questions, like "How?" and "Why?" for example. I read the Bible because I think it's fun. I like learning about things like that.

The particular combination of people we have here, a lot of whom are very different, but we all get along very well. Also the universal acceptance and friendliness which generally goes on compared to other places I've been.

Eight or nine people who didn't know each other, posting about once or twice a day, if that, about purely random things. Threads that had more than 10 posts were considered big. Days at a time when no one posted at all. Lots of FF1 discussion. General optimism about the future of the MB and the site. The presence of Sean was ubiquitous. Everyone was a moderator.

No, I just wear glasses. I wouldn't consider getting them. Even though my glasses look dorky, I'm too used to them now. I don't like jamming things in my eyes anyways. There's no reason for contacts other than looks, and I don't care about my looks.

It came from FF1. Not much more to it than that, that I know of. I don't know what 'une' means in Japanese, if anything. The Dr. part comes from the Japanese word for scholar, like someone who's good at literature and linguistics. gakusha or something. I forget.

Why do I use them, infrequently? Or why do I use them infrequently? For the first question, smilies are necessary sometimes because plaintext isn't a good way to communicate. For the second question, I don't use them often because I don't like them.

He's annoying. No he is not spiffy. Margaret Weis / Tracy Hickman are my favorites. The worst book is probably something I had to read in high school or something, maybe something by Dickens.

I like watching football sometimes. The best is billiards though. The Ultimate 9-Ball Challenge is spiffy. No, cheerleading is not a sport. Anything where the outcome is based on a subjective opinion is not a sport.

I guess I do. I guess other people might. You make it sound like that might be a bad thing, but I don't think it is. Old fashioned is good sometimes. Bad other times. Racism is old fashioned. But so is being nice to old people and holding doors open for ladies.

There was one where he was looking for some kind of fountain of youth. It was a two-part episode I think. He had to collect all kinds of parts and whatnot and eventually made some kind of laser out of a big ruby that shot a hole into a rock. But inside it was just dust, no fountain. That was a good one. I don't know. They all seem equally bad to me. I don't think I could envision myself being Christian. If I had to pick a Judeo-Christian-Moslem religion I'd pick Judaism. If I got to pick among other religions I'd probably go with Buddhism, just because that's the only other one I know something about.
