Faster downloading programs which i can download?

DAP doesn't increase the speed much. I'm using a 56K. Is there another progra, to make my downloading speed...let's say...30KB/sec?

If you're using a 56k modem, the maximum bandwidth is obviously only 56kbps, or about (rather, just under because of control data) 7K/s, so you'll never download at 30K/s on that connection.

Programs which speed up transfers aren't really worth it for modem users because you have such a low bandwidth to begin with.

Crono is right, but you can try FlashGet if you wish to speed up your downloads a little bit.

Flashget is what I use. It does speed things up a little, just by using multiple connections at once. So it might not speed up your maximum download speed, but it'll probably speed up the average.

Yes :p I you <I>really</I> want faster download speeds, you'd be better off upgrading your connection. :)
