Hacking the PSPcaptkrill 03-25-2009, 01:55 PM Anyone done it to play FFs on it? Elly 03-25-2009, 02:17 PM nope, no plans on bricking my PSP, i'd rather wait for them to come to the PSN Store... McLovin' 03-25-2009, 02:23 PM Yea and it's really easy to do. Got FF9, 8 and 6 on there. It'll only brick if you are retarded enough to turn off the PSP while "hacking" it. Otherwise follow the steps and all is good. Yar 03-25-2009, 02:36 PM If you have a PSP Slim then you need to buy an older battery. (For hacking, not play.) I've done it. Haven't regretted it. It also allows you to copy PSP games to your memory stick and play them that way rather than UMD. Which is also good if you want to get your games through alternative means. :shifty: captkrill 03-25-2009, 03:09 PM As I have read I need a Pandora's batt for my 2000. As far as that goes itll be bricked after installation and following the instructions. But how do the games go? Are they just ISO or are there different formats? And are there any programs I can use to create the games to put on my memory card? Yar 03-25-2009, 03:42 PM If it's just a PSP game, you can take a straight ISO and put it onto your memory card. If it's a PSX game, you need to create an EBOOT for each game. Also look for a program that will let you create multidisk eboots. captkrill 03-25-2009, 04:11 PM This is probably one of the few "gaming" genre sites that arent blocked at work...every site i try to see Eboot programs are blocked so does anyone have any suggestions for the programs? Crimson 03-25-2009, 05:17 PM Homebrewing a PSP2000 is a cakewalk, just requires a bit of info and money for the needed things. This site PSPISO - Powered by vBulletin (http://www.pspiso.com) tells you EVERYTHING and anything you need to know about PSP's, they have several guides for homebrewing, putting PSP ISO's on your PSP, putting PSX games on it, putting emulators on it and so on. captkrill 03-25-2009, 05:20 PM Sweet and its not blocked either. Thanks for the link! Del Murder 03-26-2009, 06:06 AM Sorry, we can't condone hacking here. | |
