We're in the process of sorting out the next round. Or, to put it less officially, I'm waiting for all the AmeriCanadians to come online again so we can have a quick discussion and push things forward.

I think it's something to think about though. Usernotes is just a place where people spam now, maybe we should get rid of them? Or do you think that'll destroy some of the fun at eoff? :p

Nope...Kill them! They are hard as hell to patrol, there is no warn button on the post in them. It practically relies on users telling mods what is wrong or luck that a mod is viewing the notes. On top of that it is probably a decent space waster(not really a concern any more...right ;_;). They are not even very accessible XP

I think a usernote is a little way to brighten someone's day. When you give someone a usernote, it makes them smile. If someone gets an offensive usernote, then can delete it, or they can tell a mod. I think the user can moderate them on their own.

Usernotes other than the user's own cannot be moderated by the user. Only staff can delete usernotes, so they all have to be reported in some way if they are a problem. :cat:

Is that right? I thought they could be deleted? Hm, maybe that was a while ago, when there were less usernote restrictions. My bad. xD

I refuse to use the girls' signature on the principles that it's pink and it contains Hello Kitty and FFX-2 references. My eyes almost went and committed suicide right there.

They're public messages. Getting rid of them is almost like getting rid of PMs. I agree with Roto13.

I do enjoy getting notes. I am almost at 100! when I first came here that was unthinkable!

Meh, if there is something offencive it should be easy enough to tell someone.

Last I checked mine, I had 57 usernotes, and I've been here for years. That gave me a good chuckle.

I think I have around 60, I don't really care enough about the number to actually go look though.:p
