Let's see how much you know about the rules of Eyes on Final Fantasy and what it takes to be a forums moderator.

7. crono_logical is injecting javascript into everyone's posts that makes pictures of penises and vaginas (nonos on eoff!) pop up on every thread. How do you confront him and get him banned, him being an administrator and you a lowly Cid's Knight who can't ban admin?
8. rubah won't shut the smurf up. You're really tired of her spamming everywhere and you think it's giving the rest of the staff a bad, if rather active, name. How do you tell her children are better seen and not heard?
9. Hsu hasn't performed a moderative action in a year. Pick a course of either trying to drive him off staff or drive him to activity and state how you would do it. Assume that Loony BoB is on your side and no one else is.

Yeah, I'm done too. Some of the questions bared thinking about more than others but I didn't have too much trouble with any of them. Like Dan did, I just answered them as honestly as I could.

Looking over the questions, it looks like a lot of these imply that you'd be alone in the decision-making. Being on staff, I would think you'd always have someone to check with and everybody would act as a system of checks and balances to each other.

On the other hand, some of these are obviously put in to make you realize that you've got to think for yourself. You've got to stand up and make your voice heard. Who wants a sheep that's going follow everything the others say all the time? I think the current staff wants fresh ideas from the new addition(s) to their ranks.

Actually, if I were going to be verbally attacked (shot with a laser if you will) then I think doing a barrel roll would be the best way for me to deflect the criticisms. Therefore, it's a brilliant solution.

I did have a few jokes pop into my head while I was writing it, but I believe I managed to avoid putting them down. Little consolation to the people who've read my thread (that's right, I mean you), but it's the thought that counts, right?

Actually, the plan was to have the website be down all day, so only those who did it yesterday would be able to move on. However, someone messed up and got the forums back up and running

I think I'm just going to change my EoFF time temporarily to Pacific time because well. Your math confuses me. I'm 2 hours ahead of pacific time, and 11 - 4:20 is 6:40PM, which is 8:40PM for me, except it's only 5:54PM right now...

Unless I'm completely over thinking..

But it should be 7 hours til 11PM pacific time.

Mountain = 1 hour+ Difference from Pacific time. (11pm PST = 12am Mountain)
Central time = 2 hour+ Difference from Pacific time. (11pm PST = 1am CT)
Eastern = 3 hour+ Difference from Pacific time. (11pm PST = 2am EST)

11PM - 4PM = 7 hour difference.

That kinda defeats the reasoning behind this I think. I mean sure, we would be willing to help, but they (and by they I mean the staff) want us to answer on our own to see how we would each individually handle each situation.

If someone told what they would do then it would inspire other people giving them more of an advantage as it is not fully there thoughts... at least that what I think.

And those volunteering their answers, and those using said answers, could be disqualified. this is essentially a test.

The deadline for this round will be in about 30 minutes. However, due to the downtime today I think it is fair to give the people who haven't submitted their entry some extra time. The judging will take a while anyway.

Basically if you entry isn't in by the time we are done judging them, you're out. This could be 1 hour after deadline, or 8 hours after (and unless some other staff wants to wrap this up it will be closer to 8 hours. Mr. Murder needs his sleep).

I suppose then it's more practical to check back after RotJ, eh?

No, they weren't. I don't think BoB watches enough reality TV to know that they do it that way. :D

I don't actually like reality TV that much, so yeah. I did it random with the exception of the last two, which (since they were around) I decided to delay just to make them squirm a bit.
