You're forgetting that there is another Mafia in play. If he turns out to be mafia, I think the heat will be taken off you. If he's being truthful about the roleclaim, then it might not be so good for you. But still, Kirby doesn't suspect you which is a good thing. I do think that Kirby is an excellent candidate for a day kill though. Just not right now.
