Feature suggestion: PMs Quickreply

Could we actually have a quick reply box for PMs? A great addition would be one that would take the last quote and attach it before your quickreply after you hit the button send, i.e.:

Message:
---start


123

456

789
---end

Quick-reply input:
---start
blabla
---end

Message sent:
---start

789

blabla
---end

It'd make writing message conversation a whole lot simpler and doesn't really sounds like it'd take too much scripting to implement. Feedback?

That's actually an interesting idea :p Problem now is my laziness to add that ability :p

I agree. It allows ease of communication because you don't have to switch to another message to read over the last thing said, and it avoids annoying quote pyramids. Next time you're active enough to do this sort of work, I'm sure there are plenty of people who'd appreciate it.

I'd certainly appreciate it. I don't often get PMs but it'd certainly save time for when I do get them. There's no real reason not to have it to be honest, especially given that we have them for making forum posts anyway.

You can actually send it by clicking on the nick, but meh, I know what you mean. I'd appreciate a small direct link hidden somewhere in the primary GUI myself.
