| Goldenboko 07-01-2007, 09:05 PM Owen Macwere has past away, there is a thread on it. This isn't the first time a beloved member of EoFF has died (many probably remember Kuro's Girl), and I feel we should make some kind of way to start remembering these members. It could be as simple as marking the days on the EoFF Calander as a day of remorse, or something bigger.
Discuss. daggertrepe 07-01-2007, 09:11 PM I loved Owen. Since I am a firm believer in the lord, I put a few bible verses in his usernotes. Sufjan (Fonzie) 07-01-2007, 09:58 PM How'd the kid die?
Edit: I'm EoEO banned, so thats why I wouldn't know if it was in there. Psychotic 07-01-2007, 10:16 PM It's sad that Owen has died, but I'm not a fan of huge public displays of grief. To me, they seem forced and hollow.
I think we should remember them in our own way. Sufjan (Fonzie) 07-01-2007, 10:18 PM It's sad that Owen has died, but I'm not a fan of huge public displays of grief. To me, they seem forced and hollow.

Couldn't of said it better myself, Paul. Yamaneko 07-01-2007, 10:19 PM A thread will suffice. Goldenboko 07-01-2007, 10:26 PM Okay I submit. These are all valid points, so I guess a thread does suffice. ShlupQuack 07-01-2007, 10:51 PM Lets not argue over anything as trivial as signatures when someone has died, please.
Note: Posts that are not directly related to what you would like to do in remembrance of Owen have been and will continue to be deleted. Also, because of the nature of this thread, any critical posts will also be deleted. ~*~Celes~*~ 07-02-2007, 12:19 AM How'd the kid die?
Well first of all, he's not exactly a kid...But yeah. He had lung cancer, and he went in for surgery, and he died. I'm not sure if it was during or after, but it was just this passed Wednesday. theundeadhero 07-02-2007, 01:41 AM Would it be honorary to ban him? No, I liked the idea of making him a Permanent Recognized Member. Sufjan (Fonzie) 07-02-2007, 02:00 AM Would it be honorary to ban him?

Not to be rude, but what did he really do to receive RM status? Garnie 07-02-2007, 02:01 AM i agree with Boko. A reconised member would be the nicest tribute for him.

I don't know exactly what you do to get the RM status, I always assumed it was work hard to help the forum and all of its members, and well I've never heard of Owen turning down a member for a sig. Even people he has no idea who they are. Brennan 07-02-2007, 02:03 AM Permanant Recognised Membership
Seems honarary enough, it would be all that I'd ask for. ShlupQuack 07-02-2007, 02:13 AM Uhh... No. daggertrepe 07-02-2007, 03:36 AM Would it be honorary to ban him?

A lot. Take a look at his signatures-they were beautiful.
<!--Not to be judge mental, but it almost seems as if you aren't sad... :(-->*snip* We aren't discussing that here. ~Shlup It's sad that Owen has died, but I'm not a fan of huge public displays of grief. To me, they seem forced and hollow.
