Usernotes

Why do people have to wait 2-3 months to post them I really want to post them but i am not allowed even though i have like 1400 posts :(

because that's the way it is :p

when I was a wee lad such as yourself we didn't even have usernotes! But we did have a kickass level system :p

It's an incentive to stick around. Just like how custom titles come at 8 months.

and I wouldn't mind shortening the usernote wait a little. 90 days isn't that long, though. you only have 40 more to go. ;)

We need levels again. but only for people who were here to have them in the first place ;)

Funny thing is most people don't even find the notes before they're able to post in them XD

ive been around the same amount of time as you have and apparantly I have around 250 posts

But that doesn't show deleted or pruned posts ;) so in older members cases that is not the correct number.

I think that the usernote thing either used to be less lenient or moreso.

I would think that it's nice to make people come to your usernotes to read rather than have to check everyone else's to see if they said anything. That's a lot of checking, especially if they get a lot of usernotes.

if posts weren't ever pruned I'd probably have around 11,000 :p

a) so say, a Spam Brigade couldn't join and crazy-spam existing members' usernotes.
b) newbie penalty.
c) so members can prove to be legitimate forumites before they're given an extra privilege.

User notes are perfect as they are.

The Man has like 50,000 posts at Fool's Gold. Too bad that equates to about 500 EoFF posts.

i didnt even know about usernotes untill yesterday lol and at a complete shock i found 40 odd XD
