What the hell is up with all of these ads in between posts? It's really annoying

Perhaps you think EoFF doesn't look so good because of all the advertisements, and frankly, I agree. I just discovered this great Firefox addon that will destroy all banner advertisements (on this site and others). After all, our new owner made it quite clear that banner ads were meant to be seen by non-logged in lurkers, not our member fan base!

I don't mind...they're pretty funny sometimes.

Even with this new Adblock device, the ads never seem to end. It seems like just one more thing I have to do before I go into a thread, or while I read a post. Not only that, but some ads seem to lack a 'Block' item next to them, as well as the inability to right click them to block them if they're flash animated to the max.

Did you add a subscription service to Adblock? It seems to work great for everyone else, myself included.

If you've already added a subscription service, you probably have spyware.

i guess i've learned to ignore the ads.

this is the only legitimate ad.
