Who is your "dream team" in FFVII? Mine is Cloud, Yuffie, and Red, after Aeris dies.

Well Cloud is a mandatory choice regardless if you like him or not:P

depends, for story tifa n vincent cos they are the ones most linked to the main story, but for battle barret and cid so i can use ungarmax and highwind limit breaks for max dmg

Same as others, Cid, Vincent, and Cloud was what i used to use the most.

last playthrough, Cid just as a Dragoon, Red XIII as a red mage, and Cloud as knight/black mage worked really good.

Aside from Cloud, quite often I will use Barrett and Red XIII, or substitute either or both for Cid and/or Vincent. I will use all the characters (save for Cait Sith, which is a given for most people), but those are the ones I use most. :)

Well at the begining I use Cloud, Tifa and RedXIII but when I get Yuffie and Vincent I just alternate the 3rd person between RedXIII, Yuffie and Vincent.

The last would have to be Vincent

Before Aeris dies I usually have her on my team, simply because she's a great magician and her limit breaks are really useful. Other than that I usually like having Tifa on the team and then just someone random.. it doesn't really matter.

She died almost one hit when I fought that thing, so I got Cloud and Tifa to kill it instead.:D

mine would be cloud (for his OMNISLASH), barret (for his CATASTROPHE) and anyone random (not including caith sith...hated him)

I always alternated so that everyone was the same level (give or take one), but cos clouds always in the party, he is usually about 10 levels higher lol.

That way in a difficult boss battle I don't have to rely on one specific team and can use many strategies. Works for me.

that's usually how i play now, and the most rewarding. Every character can be useful, even Cait Sith.

what's with caith sith??? always hated him...

I've only played it once so far, and ignored Vincent and Yuffie to blast through the (awesome) story.

I used Cloud, Cid, and RedXIII. Next time I plan on using Cloud, Tifa and Vincent.

I wouldn't recommend using Vincent. He's a cool character, but he has the worst Limit Break ever.

his limit just trasforms him...and you can't even control him once he's tranformed!!! i hated that...

I thought that cait sith's limits sucked as well as vincents, although their character designs are awesome really, and RedXIII...

But still, I use Cloud (no real argument there) Tifa (when she has all limits and you get "yeah!" on each, you'll understand why;)) and Yuffie (gotta love "Doom of the living":mwahaha: )

Vincent - Long Barrel R (255% accuracy) + deathblow = Yay
RedXIII - Love the name of his limit breaks, I always give him long range, hp plus, counter attack.
If i could kick cloud out of my party the last would probably be tifa, unfortunately this is not the case

cloud, vincent and aeris of coarse... but after her death she would probobly be replaced with tifa

don't you just hate the parts where you can only choose one member to be in the party? like Temple of the Aincients you could have cloud, Aeris and one other, a bit annoying really if aeris is really weak lol

The Temple of the Ancients is the worst part of the game. I hated Aeris.

I had Cloud (mandatory), Tifa, and for the third character I would have either Yuffie or Cid.

Wow.

I love the party Cloud, Yuffie, and Red. Red has to be my favorite fighter, though because Earth Rave PWNS everything. :p
