I'm not surprised that this week-long endeavor was actually an elaborate hoax, because it really wasn't that elaborate. Clues all over the place, including the plot twists thread and one giant tipoff in another thread where someone stated that they were glad that Lord Krang was no longer a Knight, and what was Krang's reply but "I'll make a note of that."

What I am surprised at is the maliciousness of it all. Who could really appreciate this humor besides the people involved? Early on, I realized that it was a hoax, but other members may not have been so quick to the punch. Were they just outcasted in their arguments for the sake of the staff's giggles? I do not approve. =\
