The ridiculously high salaries that modern artists charge is because they're famous, they're a product rather than a service, and they can be spread around in the form of tunes and music, if not going to recordings.
There ARE low-paid artists and amusers - wedding-bands, and so forth, who play the music of others aren't paid that well. They're more like doctors than the higher-paying artists - who are more like pharmaceutical companies.
But athletes are a waste of time. *_* |
