Grab a
Merit Award from the Coliseum and the character can equip any equipment (Imp Halberd -> Cat Hood -> Merit Award). I'm sure you have dozens of Imp Halberds by now if you've been wandering the Dinosaur Forest.

Also, I had my first boss battle with Natural Magic only via Ultros in the Opera House. Usually I have someone with Bolt from Ramuh so they use that, but it wasn't necessary. Sabin with his Genji Glove was more than enough for Ultros.
Plus having four Green Berets before the three-way battle in Narshe was nice as well.
