Well, it was stated that the prototype was supposed to last longer than the regular grunts.
That's the other thing - nobody knows where the hell his kids come from or how they came about. It might be another thing having to do with "the prototype". One of my theories would be that Vivi is actually a "black mage" from The Crystal's memory (just like the Elemental Fiends) and he's called the prototype because the black mage robots were based off of him. He can have kids/whatever. That would also explain why he likes windmills, they remind him of airships of past games. I don't know. |
